About Tyme Farm is a 26 plus acre privately owned farm used for crops such as corn, soy beans and sunflowers. The property includes a 150+ year old stone farm house, large historic barn on the barn quilt tour in Carroll County, renovated camping cabin for those not into rough camping, fields, streams , woods for hiking, plenty of wild life and lots of quiet. The farm is surrounded by other farms in the agricultural preservation program yet you are only 5 miles from stores, movies, antiques and other aspects of civilization or entertainment if needed. Enjoy watching the deer come out of the woods and meander along the stream and fields at dusk and return in the morning. Electric, water, fire pit and a Port a Pot is available even for rough campers. Pets welcome but must be on a leash or exercise pen or with their owners in some way while here for their safety. There is a large fenced yard for dogs that just have to run if needed. Glamorous camping with a furnished heated/cooled cabin is available for rent by the night for those who do not have camping equipment or do not want to rough it. For those that have been camping before and have all the equipment there is plenty of room for a tent or camper near the buildings or by the stream or woods. For RV owners there is 50amp electric service in the barn. You will need an RV extension cord to access it. I have a 100 ft RV ext. cord but it can be farther than that depending on where you park. Bring one of your own to be sure. It is a farm and not set up like an RV park with numerous outlets.

Enjoy 8 beautiful, secluded acres on the Conewago Creek at Bald Hill, Northern York Co. My homestead was once part of the Conewago Turf Farm. It borders the creek a length of 1100 feet, mostly maintained with easy access. Camp is at the base of a steep section of the Conewago Mountains, creating privacy and protection from wind and afternoon sun. This is not a whole house rental. I have a one bedroom, queen size bed, kitchenette, private restroom and outdoor shower with on demand hot water. There's plenty of room for tent or van camping. Please see pictures for detail. I live in the house above the glamping quarters.
Plenty of good fishing and paddling here. I offer shuttle service for 1 or 2 day float trips, paddle in one day, paddle out the next day. Canoes, kayaks, paddles and PFD's are included in the price of your stay.
The Conewago is very beginner paddling but remote, very clean and full of wildlife. Gifford Pinchot State Park is 7 miles away. I have two paddle boards if you want to paddle the 3 mile lake. This adventure would require a short hike out to a parking area.
Relax in a wood fired Norwegian sauna and cook in a Peruvian wood fired earth oven or cook under the stars over an open fire. Firewood is also included. Foodies will rejoice here.
I live and work here, part time blacksmith and wood worker. I'll assist you in any way or do my best to stay out of your way.

Our horse farm is located in one of the most rural areas of Southern New Jersey. This land was once occupied by The Lanape Tribe. The adjacent creek was named after Chief Alloway. Artifacts of Native Americans have been found alongside this brackish water creek. This farm was for many years a dairy farm which was passed on for 3 generations until the late 80's.
Our main horse breeds are 5 Arabians followed by 2 Thoroughbreds and 2 miniature ponies. In addition to horses you will see free range rabbits, chickens and beautiful cows.
There are many antique shops in this area which tell the rich History of Southern NJ. Cowen mall and Royal Port are my two favorites.
Another must see experience (at least once) in the area is The Cowtown Rodeo, one of the first and oldest in the country, only 14 minutes drive.
Cool and brand new Brewery opening up soon right across the rd from Cowtown and right next to The best Cowboy outfitter.

You will be staying in the Shepherd's Hut on the creek. We cater to couples in this setting. The Hut consists of one room with a Queen bed. We provide all bedding and towels. Enjoy sleeping in our enchanted forest designed shepherds hut. Keep the windows open to listen to the sounds of the creek as it lulls you to sleep. Or, if you re too hot or cold, turn on the portable A/C & heating unit! You will have access to electricity to charge your devices, make coffee and turn on lights! There is no wifi out here, but you can use your own cellular data for internet needs.
If you have a child, we can provide a futon, bedding and set of towels for an additional cost of $25. (Keep in mind that the Hut and surrounding area is not child proofed inside/out and open waterway is very close to the hut.) Please let us know as soon as possible so we can have the futon available for your stay.
Glamping here is fantastic! You will have a private outdoor shower to use right next to the Hut. Hot water available seasonally. Please confirm with host as to hot water availability. Biodegradable body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap/dish soap is provided and we ask that you use the provided products to help us protect our natural surroundings - especially the creek.
Please keep in mind that water provided to the shower and outdoor sink is not drinkable (not potable), however, we do provide water for drinking/cooking/brushing teeth that is from a 5 gallon bottle with pump dispenser.
A separate toilet room is available right next to the hut as well. It is equipped with a bucket toilet which requires eco- bags and kitty litter (both provided). The full bags are then tied and disposed of in a larger outdoor trash can just outside.
Use the fire pit just outside the hut for grilling or use the gas grill with burner that faces the creek. Basic kitchen supplies are provided (please refer to pictures for details). There is also a picnic bench facing the creek. Walk the trail through the property and enjoy the cool shade. Pack a picnic and enjoy eating on the moss covered boulders next to the water, play games in the yard, snooze in a hammock, meditate by the creek or take a swim in the swimming hole.
Enjoy privacy while in the hut, or join us on our morning chores (we live in a house on the property), by feeding the animals and gathering fresh eggs. During the day, cross the bridge over the creek to get to the beautifully maintained Conewago Recreation Trail where you can walk or ride bikes.
Our rural setting is a relaxing spot to stay after a day of seeing the sites or visiting Hershey Park just 15 minutes away. We are 10 minutes to the train station which will take you to all the surrounding major cities - DC, NY, Philly and others for a day trip too!
Experience a bit of history while staying in the Shepherd's Hut. The houses, grist mill and bank barn were built with sandstone brought to the property by wagonloads in the 1770's. Just think! This homestead was built before the Declaration of Independence was signed and the Revolutionary War began! Stay in or explore the 40 acres of property consisting of woodlands, creek and farmland. The grist mill and other buildings require host to accompany guests in order to enter and we are happy to give you a tour!

2 nights at Conowingo Creek Campsite
I came here for a little low key solo trip and I had such an incredible time here! It’s so beautiful and magical - I spent my time sitting by the creek and walking around their property (a sweet little loop going along the creek and near a pond).
Gini and Kelly are incredible hosts — when I got to the campsite, Kelly came over and gave me a little tour and even helped me set up the camp stove when I let him know I was a little unsure how it worked. I had everything I needed: fresh linens, the outhouse, the outdoor shower, a washing station, fresh water, cooking supplies, firewood, and a cooler with ice & a camping stove (which were from an extra I added on).
They were available by text the whole time if I needed anything extra.
Overall I had a perfect time :)

We loved staying at Craig’s river property. The back porch was a cool hangout spot, and the room and wash room were comfortable and clean. The house was easy to access and Craig was great at communicating with us.
Craig is a cool guy! He and I took to the river and enjoyed a fun kayak trip the next morning while my wife and baby slept in. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pizza ovens and watch him work the blacksmith forge. I could easily imagine spending a few days on this site and paddling and hiking in the surrounding area, which has great access to trails and waterways. Stay with Craig!

Our family of 4+dog had a wonderful time at Conowingo Creek! Gini and Kelly were wonderful hosts. They have a large chicken area that our kids loved to harvest eggs from and help put the chickens to bed at night. The campsite itself is located ~300 ft from the dedicated parking spot and included a cart to easily transport all our stuff. There is some minor road noise in the area, but that didn't really bother us at all. We also opted to rent out the treehouse for our kids - it includes a queen/full bed and a little DVD TV for falling asleep to movies. We also did a little fishing and caught a little trout and several crayfish (haha). We couldn't be happier and highly recommend staying at this wonderful spot.

An amazing spot and Craig was an amazing host! The smallmouth bite was solid, the cooking accomodations were spot on, and Craig made sure we had everything we needed along the way. Made for an amazing Father's Day weekend. We hope to make this spot an annual destination.

Weekend Trip to Conowingo Creek Campsite
We had a fantastic stay at Gini and Kelly’s property! We were treated with the utmost kindness and respect, the site and land were both incredibly gorgeous, and everything we needed was provided for us! I would definitely go back and stay longer. The doggies were so fun and cute as well when they visited our site! This Hipcamp was super secluded and peaceful, it was perfect for unwinding and taking time to connect with nature.

Weekend Trip to Conowingo Creek Campsite
One of the best camping experiences I've ever had! All the beauty and serenity of tent camping in a private space with none of the drudgery of the set-up and break-down that goes with a typical camping trip. Gini thought of absolutely everything, and all of the supplies she had on hand were kept spotless and neat in the cabinets. Not a cobweb to be found anywhere! The paths through the property were well-maintained and tranquil to meander, and there were several spots along the creek to enjoy. We spent much of our days creekside, to the delight of our pups. Will definitely return!

It was our first glamping introduction to my 7 and 9 year old daughters, and they absolutely loved their experience! Slam dunk on the two bed tipi, campfire wood, fireflies and 2 deer and chipmunk, and convenient 5gal water jug. Special extra than you to our farmer hosts for teaching us how to light our campfire (1 match!) and for inviting the girls to feed the animals. It's clear they love hosting, put a lot of care into welcoming guests, and get a kick out of kiddos. I am so blessed that this was the girls' first camping experience, and because of it, they're eager to do it again!

This chapel was AWESOME! Very unique, set in an incredibly peaceful and serene valley in rural Pennsylvania about an hour outside of Philly. As long as you are prepared with plenty of food and water, and what you need to sleep comfortably, and are prepared to use a pit toilet, you should have a fantastic stay. It was so fun to light candles and wonder about all the history that had happened in the chapel over the years. Plenty of space for a few people to sleep (we had 3). Susannah was open to us coming across the river to their property the next morning to meet some of the horses :) I only wish I had more time to explore the hiking. 10/10 would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Gini it’s such a natural hostess. My family had a wonderful time staying on Jenny‘s land. It is absolutely picturesque. Gini went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The creek looks like something out of a Norman Rockwell painting. It is beautiful and I love clunking my chair down in there and cooling off. My kids even got to pick some fresh eggs out of the chicken coop. Thank you, Gini! This was all the fun things about camping minus all of the annoying things about camping. Highly recommend.

Weekend Trip to The Agape
My daughter and I had a lovely stay at the little water house over Memorial Weekend! So peaceful and relaxing! The house sits on top of the water, so you get it all! Gorgeous birds of all kinds! House has the basics, so byobasics. Loved it, reminded me of home in Texas on the river. Hosts were perfect. and give you the privacy you need! Shawna was great!

Weekend Trip to Laureleye Farms
I absolutely loved the chapel in the woods! It was so magical and the surrounding areas were just gorgeous. We really enjoyed our time walking on local trails, birdwatching, and dipping our feet in the creek. The chapel itself stayed cool all night. It was beautiful waking up to the sun coming in through the arched glass windows. Thank you, Susannah! I’d love to come back.

If you want an amazing memorable experience close to home literally 30 40 minutes tops! You have to come here! When I say this renewed my soul I mean it with all of me! The beautiful land and I can’t say enough about the absolutely beautiful people Gini and her husband Kelly are. When they say they have everything just bring yourself and food they mean it! I had such a wonderful time I extended my stay and skipped the third spot I was going to go too. Every part of being here was everything! I didn’t want to go home! Lol this place is a must!!!!

Craig was a fabulous host! His little slice of paradise is so relaxing and there’s plenty to explore in the area. We had a great time exploring trails and canoeing with Craig’s help and expertise. He even had a fire going for us upon our return. It was really a treat!

We loved staying on Edwin's farm. He was welcoming. The safari was really fun, unique, and peaceful. We came with 2 adults and 2 kids under 6 so we could all fit in the safari bed, but it'd be tight quarters if anyone was much bigger! We loved watching the sheep on the farm...we had a chance to see some young spring baby sheep which were so cute. The outhouse was clean. The fire pit was perfect for marshmallows. The site is close to Waffle House so we got breakfast before driving home. Great getaway, thank you!!!!

The chapel is such a beautiful historic building that was such an extraordinary warm experience. The land is beautiful, the chapel is in fantastic shape, the horses are a majestic touch!! It’s exactly as listed: no water, no electricity, so as long as you come prepared you will absolutely have a memorable time! I think this would make a great solo, romantic, or friend group outing. Our host Susannah is a sweetheart, and is a great point of contact for any recommendations or questions! Will definitely be back (:
