Walking paths leading to the scenic Conowingo Creek make this private setting located in southern Lancaster County a perfect relaxing get away. A short walk will put you on the banks of ideal fishing or a refreshing dip in the beautiful waterway. Some experts claim that plopping a chair in the middle of the creek with a good book is the only way to go! Then, after an evening by the campfire and a cozy night of sleep, a short drive gives you access to the Susquehanna River where hiking and scenic overlooks abound. The area is surrounded by Amish farms and loads of country charm. Got an itch for a historic city experience? Lancaster city is a 30 minute drive north where the historic Lancaster Central Market is open Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and surrounded by lots of quaint shopping. Recently added to Camp Conowingo Extras is the "Henry Hilton" which sleeps two and is an add-on for larger groups or anyone who wants to take in the view, sleeping closer to the stars. We look forward to having you visit us.Our aim is to provide all you'll need for a relaxing private getaway, you can just pack your food and clothing. The bed is always clean and prepared for your arrival with linens to suit the season. We also supply you with plenty of dry firewood, because what would camping be without a fire! Parking pad is for vehicle parking, please use the available wagon located there and walk the short path back to your site. No smoking or vaping of any kind inside the tent.

Conowingo Creek Campsite

Thank you!!

This place was amazing. We spent all day in the completely private creek just hanging out. They have two different fire pits, one mobile one specialized for cooking. We ended up adding the cooler and camp stove package which was helpful for boiling water, etc. otherwise we used the big fire pit for everything else- the abundant firewood was one of our favorite perks. It was so peaceful and took so much of the camping stress out of the experience while keeping all the cool stuff like cooking on a fire and chilly outdoor showers at the end of a hot day sitting in the babbling creek. Gini and Kelly are attentive and kind, and their dogs are so sweet. We had an amazing time and will be coming back with more friends in the future!!

The property is amazing and very private. You won’t find better hosts than Gini and Kelly. Literally anything you could ever need is provided. Cannot recommend Conowingo enough. Can’t wait to go back.

Conowingo Creek Campsite

First time here

Absolutely perfect camp site, even though it was tent site the tent was huge and heavy duty, perfect couples get away. All amenities were provided really didn’t need a thing except clothes and food, in a tenters world these were 5 star accommodations, very clean! Fly fished the creek and the trout were there! If you did need something there are stores in less than 5 mi away.

Paradise on earth !

Gini & Kelly’s creekside campsite was absolutely PERFECTION ! We came along with our pup & it’s hard to say who had more fun, the dog or us !!! When they say all you need to pack is cold they & food they are CORRECT ! Everything you could EVER need was there for us + more ! We will certainly be camping here again & could never get tired of this paradise ! The space was clean & beautiful boho, the hosts were so kind & so were their dogs when they came to visit ! 11/10!

Conowingo Creek Campsite

Better than even imagined!

From the minute you pull up to the site, you are just blown away but all of the small details. These hosts and this camp site left nothing to be desired. It was so comfortable, everything was so well thought out, and the kids had the best time. We went with our 1 and 3 year old and the hosts were the nicest and most accommodating. They even let us go pick out the eggs from the chicken coop and feed the chickens. The short walk to the creek is beautiful and the creek is so relaxing and fun to play in, we were there for hours. I can go on and on, but we will be back and would 12/10 recommend!

Conowingo Creek Campsite

Had a fantastic time this week! This is really one of the best equipped camp sites I've been to. They had truly everything you could need, from cooking equipment to tiki torches with mosquito repellent to lanterns to potholders! The bed was firm and comfy, the tent kept us warm and dry. And the creek was lovely! Our dog had a grand time trotting through the woods and swimming in the creek, spotting cows and chipmunks. To top it off, Gini and Kelly were very kind and welcoming hosts. Would love to come back! 10/10!!
