1 night at Grass Campers Country Cow Farm
Would recommend staying here. Super safe for solo (woman travelers) due to the ability to have a locked gate and locked on the door. The cabin is super cute and comfy to sleep. The hosts are super nice people. I highly recommend if you are looking for some alone time relaxing!

I loved the coziness combined with the ruggedness of the Barn. There were plenty of amenities to make the stay very pleasant, including a surprise of coconut water waiting for me in the cabin. The outside shower warms up very quickly and was delightful after a long drive. Polite communication from the hosts as well. I would highly recommend!

Cool secluded spot for camping. Traveled with our 2 dogs for a quick overnight stay. The site had a fire pit and a table with chairs which was nice. There was a porta potty available close to the site. Quite & peaceful place to sleep under the stars. Host was responsive and super nice. No complaints :)

It was beautiful! Host was amazing, site was clean and huge, the barn animals were adorable, we got the projector and that made the night so wonderful. Glamping to another level, and so close to beautiful springs and things to do 10 out of 10!!!

Marci was a gem. We canceled one reservation, because of our schedule, we had late modifications, again, our issue … Marci just went with our flow and we are thankful.
Nicest bathroom facilities you will see at a Hipcamp, I’m sure!
The lake location is perfect for water fun.

Erin and her husband were so nice! They were very accommodating and the site was perfect for my family and I this past weekend. We are already planning our next trip! Gorgeous skies, the firepit was perfect, the kayaks were great. We had a blast, made some wonderful memories. Our dogs were in heaven. :) Thank you guys so much!!!!

For my cycling, the south spot gives me a good central spot to go for long ride via the Withlacoochee trail near by and many dedicated bike lanes. It is a good central location with stores and all sorts of other activities in the many cities around. The owner, George, is very responsive to any issues that can arise. If you are looking for a quiet place with being capable offer the same, it is a good place to be.

I loved tent camping on Arcadios land! The stars were in clear view which was so beautiful and he was so accommodating! It was so peaceful out there and waking up to the rooster crows was so nice! We got to watch hocus pocus on the projector screen while laying out on a blanket by the fire and that alone was such an experience I’ll never forget! This camp ground is also close to the springs which makes the drive super easy and short! Will definitely stay here again! Amazing host!

Sandy Stars 2 was a hit once again. We saw tons of shooting stars the first night and loved movie night on the projector screen.
We spent our days exploring the coast at Crystal River and paddling down Rainbow River. Both are an easy 15-20 minute drive from the campground.
The animals were fun to interact with, neighboring campers were friendly, and host was upbeat and accommodating. Wilbur the pig is a great ambassador to the campground and honestly I would come back just to spend time with him.
Overall 10/10 experience, this place is on my all time favorites for Florida camp sites.
Thanks again to Arcadio and his family for another wonderful weekend!

Great spot easy of access and place yourself on. The camp is a good, quiet, central location for the many cities with stores and all the many activities to do around. In my case for cycling, it offers the Withlacoochee trail and many other dedicated cycling lanes for added safety. George, the host, is very responsive and helping for any situations that can come up. Again, for people that like it quiet and can offer quietness to others, it is a good spot to be in.

We enjoyed our two nights at Marci's site. The site closer to the dock has a fire pit in a more secluded corner of the yard and with the tent placed and our truck parked next to it we couldn't even see the house. After welcoming us and guiding us in we didn't have any need to contact Marci and we had a peaceful stay. I think we would definitely stay again as the proximity to Santos trailhead was not too far. Only concern was that there are some lower branches along the narrow driveway that did brush our truck so anything larger might have difficulty unless they're trimmed.

Nice place, not too secluded.But far away enough from light pollution to see a lot of stars, at least a lot more than my wife and I have ever seen. Stayed here during a full moon, it was so dark here but the moon itself lit everything up like it was daytime.

About
At 110 miles, the Cross Florida Greenway of central Florida is remarkably the same length as one of the longest countries in the entire world!! Chile! Granted that Chile is one of the longest north to south, whereas we are concerned with Chile’s east to west length… but who cares? The point is that this corridor of hiking, biking and horseback trail is really freakin’ long! Stretching from the Gulf of Mexico all the way to the St. Johns River, this barge canal pathway also has many spots to enjoy it’s flowing streams, by canoeing, kayaking, paddling and fishing these watery channels. With soaring birds as your guides and vibrant wildflowers, forested ferns and the occasional campground lining your way - think you’ve got what it takes to go the distance? We’re a bit skeptical. Guess you’ll just have to go out and prove us wrong now won’t you?

This was our first time using Hipcamp and Anne’s place was absolutely Awesome! We rented a primitive tent site with a picnic table and plenty of shade. Her place has everything you could want. Private clean bath house with an endless hot shower was superb! And her very rustic but fully stocked communal kitchen was EXCELLENT as well. You can help yourself to bottled water, K-cups, sugar, creamers etc. A stove to cook on and more. Her place is perfectly located close to restaurants, a kayak launch and Rainbow Springs all just a few minutes away. We will most definitely return again and rent one of her tiny cottages. We were given a tour of one of them and it was immaculately clean and spacious. Also, the sites and cottages are so affordable! Don’t hesitate to book with Anne. She’s so kind, friendly and accommodating. Wonderful conversations were had with her as well. Anne’s place is a true lil gem without paying way too much money. 5stars for this Country outdoor little oasis of hers!

We camped here for one night and it was beautiful. What made it so great were all of the horses that were on the campsite. We didn't know much about the area prior to camping, so we would do some things differently next time. You drive through a suburban area to get to the grounds and our space felt like it was literally in someones back yard. When we woke in the morning the household started playing loud music and it definitely took away from being out in nature. My advice would be to pick a spot on the other end, though its further from the restrooms. It is primitive camping so there is no electricity or or water besides the gathering areas. This town is great for horseback riding and tubing down the river on a hot summer day!

Upon arrival we met Bob, our camp host, who was very friendly and helpful. He gave us a map of the area and showed us around a bit. The following are some bullet points of what to expect:
-Very open and close to the highway. Expect to hear traffic throughout your stay.
-Clean bathrooms and great showers. Property is also clean and well maintained.
-Great spot for horse trail riding, Mountain Bikers, and thru-hikers
-Very little insects in Mid march
-Well lit at night (which kept us from seeing the beautiful clear sky)
Overall it was a perfect stay for one night, though not our ideal spot!
