Very pretty and very secluded. If you're looking for privacy and relaxation, this is a great place for that. I will definitely try to come back if I'm in the area again. My two dogs and me are very pleased

Solid property, sketchy host

Site 3 - Tents, small campers and cars

Site is solid, nice woods, a firepit with grilling grate and an outhouse with toilet seat. Female host just wants to talk about cats. Male host wears a trump train hat and will talk to you about the covid vaccine within minutes. Keeps coming back to our campsite to hang out and talk conspiracy theories. And not fun harmless ones. Lets his GIANT doberman run around unrestrained. It jumped on me multiple times scratching my chest through my clothes. He literally encouraged it to bite his arm while saying "democrat" then pet it while saying "republican". This couple may be accomodating if you appear acceptable by their hillbilly standards, but they honestly make me ashamed to be a southern person. All of the negative stereotypes of a MAGA weirdo. If you are not white and not straight avoid this property.

Amazing place and even better hosts

What an amazing and beautiful place. Mike and Beth were such great hosts. Private and cozy the ambiance was perfect for a tropical and relaxing get away. Mike made sure to check on me before I settled in to my spot and see if I needed anything. The place was so clean and the outhouse was immaculate as well and a plus. My only regret was that I didn’t stay longer but hope to be a returning customer from here on. I highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time Beth and her husband are very nice and my favorite was Johnny their puppy dog so playful and sweet.. good bathroom and nice kitchen set up. They are very helpful

Very nice location close to the Silver Springs put in and Michael transported us there with our paddleboards so we left our van downstream where we finished our paddle. Very accomodating at their home/land too, Michael was very helpful and the site was spacious with a fire ready when we arrived.

Very friendly hosts with nice spot located close to some beautiful natural scenery in Florida. Silver Springs state park is very close, and if you're looking for a nice town with that "Old Florida" feel check out Micanopy. The hosts have lots of plans for the site that will make a great spot even better!

Real Florida camping!

If you're looking to getaway and do some exclusive, real deal primitive camping, look no further because this is the place to be! Beth has a beautiful property and her pictures dont do it justice! This was better than we could've ever imagined and Beth and her husband were the best host's you could ask for! My girlfriend and I were in a pinch and had nowhere to stay due to the state parks closing their campsites at 8pm. We booked Beths site and she responded immediately and we were at her place in minutes. Beth and her husband are super sweet, kind, thoughtful, and giving people! Her directions to the place were spot on and helpful. This is a hidden gem! I can't wait to go back for a visit!

The property is set up for camping. There is a fire pit we used, wood for purchase, cleanest outhouse I’ve ever seen and several campsites separated by logs. It was such a great place to stay. It’s 15 minutes away from Silver Springs, nestled amongst pines and palms. Beth was very kind and welcomed us upon arrival. She had great communication as well through the hipcamp chat.

A perfect spot. The layout, the care and the aesthetics. It’s a nice spot surrounded by woods everywhere. It feels almost identical to camping at a national or state park without a hundred campers alongside. Would highly recommend. Have Verizon service which struggles with 1-2 bars but other than that it’s perfect and would highly recommend. Beth was gracious and helpful. And, as a side note, it wins best designed composting toilet shed in my book.

Quaint place off the beaten path but close to everything. The sites are nice. I got there later than I planned, after dark, and the host was there to meet me and show me where to go. Very friendly and responsive. The compost toilet was super clean, and it was nice to have something there, as most primitive Hip Camps do not have any sort of bathroom. Only a few minutes to Silver Springs, about 30 minutes to Santos. I would definitely plan to stay here again the next time I come up.

Sprinter Camping under the Stars

Michael and Beth were super accommodating. We easily fit our 170 high top sprinter van onto the property. Peaceful and secure night under the stars. Close and easy access to the springs park. We would love to come back.

Beth and Mike were so kind and welcoming! They were great hosts and left us a lot of quiet and privacy to enjoy their land too. We had a great little spot to set up camp, light a fire, use the restroom, and rinse dishes. you can even purchase wood or harvest excess from the land with their permission. was a great place to camp near silver springs.

Perfect Camping Spot

Michael and Beth were the greatest hosts we have encountered! They make you feel at home and they are both extremely accommodating and wonderful. Their land is stunning with beautiful wildlife. Their outhouse is actually quite cute and have automatic lights at night. We brought our dog with us and they both love animals. My pup was so happy to play with Michael and get all the pets from Beth too! They do have cats up front that are outside cats but so sweet, so drive slow coming in! We suggest bringing a telescope if you enjoy star gazing this is a PERFECT place for that as well. We haven’t just met great hosts but new friends! We will be coming back here often!

We had a lovely stay at this property and left feeling relaxed and content! The space is very quiet and the fire pit/kitchen area was fun to enjoy! The toilet area was a game changer too. Beth was very responsive and Mike was so nice and a great host. Our pup loved him, which means he’s good people!☺️ 10/10 recommend.👍🐾

Quiet and easygoing

The campsite was well kept, bathroom was clean, and the host was really friendly and accommodating. We were very close to Silver Springs and were able to pack up in the morning for a day of paddling. Would definitely recommend.

I had a great stay on Beth’s land. I wanted to find a spot near to Silver Springs to paddle board and this was perfectly located. They went out of their way to make me feel at home and even helped me shuttle my car so I could float down from the Headspring. Great Spot.
