Great spot for quiet and relaxation. My pups loved the fenced in yard and had the time of their lives. Hookups worked well, spots are clean and level. I would definitely stay again.

Great setup for a couple Trailers/RVs. Large lot, quiet area 15 to 20 minutes to Kings Bay. Shops and dining 10 minutes away.

For my cycling, the south spot gives me a good central spot to go for long ride via the Withlacoochee trail near by and many dedicated bike lanes. It is a good central location with stores and all sorts of other activities in the many cities around. The owner, George, is very responsive to any issues that can arise. If you are looking for a quiet place with being capable offer the same, it is a good place to be.

Great spot easy of access and place yourself on. The camp is a good, quiet, central location for the many cities with stores and all the many activities to do around. In my case for cycling, it offers the Withlacoochee trail and many other dedicated cycling lanes for added safety. George, the host, is very responsive and helping for any situations that can come up. Again, for people that like it quiet and can offer quietness to others, it is a good spot to be in.

Nice place, not too secluded.But far away enough from light pollution to see a lot of stars, at least a lot more than my wife and I have ever seen. Stayed here during a full moon, it was so dark here but the moon itself lit everything up like it was daytime.

This was our 3rd time staying here and we always love it! Got to see the baby goats and piglets this time which was really cool. Rupert the barn kitty will always be our favorite though! The bathroom and laundry are such nice amenities. Nichole is the best host ever.

We stayed from mid April to end of May and absolutely loved our time here. We had it all to ourselves. You really can't beat the price for full hookups, privacy, and the location. We love kayaking and spent a lot of time at rainbow springs. We also took day trips to weeki wachee springs, silver springs (where we saw wild monkeys!), devil's den, homossassa, three sister springs, and clearwater/dunedin FL. George was quick to respond to any messages. The property is huge with beautiful trees, and we loved seeing tortoises! Starlink worked well here, even for video calls. Grocery stores and anything you need is nearby. We can't wait to come back!

Great place with full hookups, especially for the price. It felt super private. We extended our stay and will probably return next time we're in FL! Awesome proximity to rainbow springs, three sister springs, clearwater, and many other destinations. Plenty of stores, basically anything you could need is nearby. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay, The location is convenient to many interesting sites. We especially liked all the Springs. The property is large enough that you are not bothered by the neighbors. Full hookups mean you have all you need. The sites have concrete pads and loose rocks surrounding the pads, to help keep you out of the grass. sand and dirt.

One of the best hipcamps we have been to. Really nice property where we saw all sorts of wildlife, including tortoises! Great location to all the surrounding springs. Weeki wachee, Three Sisters, Rainbow, the Chazz, Homosassa, and Silver springs are all just a short distance. We will definitely be coming back!

We needed a place to move our rv at a time when finding a sight anywhere nearby in Florida was very hard to come by. George’s sight was available and it was easy to communicate with him. But then we had to cancel at the last minute. I felt bad for doing that and knew that his cancellation policy was strict. I told him that I didn’t expect a refund but he refunded me anyway. So I can’t say anything about the sight but I can say that George is a very gracious host.

What a great experience! We originally reserved a week and ended up staying 3 weeks. George did an excellent job setting up these campsites!
My only complaints would be - 1. There is only one fire ring and 2. Completely personal and probably petty but I wish George had "pressed" the rocks better. That was a bit uncomfortable, especially for my partners scooter. But we overcame and enjoyed ourselves immensely! Thank you George.

This place is perfect for my husband and I! My husband said looking out at the "lawn/field" surrounded by woods reminded him of Vermont. Very peaceful. Occasionally you can hear the traffic but never enough to be disturbing.
If I had anything that would improve our site is I wish it was a bit more level - as we just bought our 1st class A, I'm still learning about leveling the RV🤷. Other than that, maybe a couple more fire rings and everything would be perfect! George is a great host who has been excellent at communication and assistance. We enjoyed ourselves so much we decided to stay an extra 2 weeks!

Being here now for almost 2 months, it has been an absolutel great experience. If you love nature, wildlife, and tranquility, this is a great place. George is great! And my experience here thus far, has been life changing. For any future residents whom would be interested in booking here, you wouldn't be disappointed. Full hookup, for a very reasonable price. It's nice to call this place home, for the time being. Thanks again to George for being very accommodate

Amazing place for an incredible price! I have sayed here on multiple occasions this summer. Super Quiet. 5 acres of nature. Very close to multiple local towns and attractions. The host , George is attentive and responsive to all needs and questions you may have. I can't recommend enough.

Overall a great site with full hookup - 50 amp, sewer & water. We have a 32 ft fifth wheel that fit perfect. It was very nice to have a concrete slab to relax on. The fenced yard was great for our 2 dogs, but just beware of the little pricker things in the grass that occasionally get on their paws. We stayed for almost a month and will probably be back next winter if we’re in the area. Lots of shopping & restaurants close by, and many beautiful springs to explore. Our Verizon cell service & internet was decent. George was a great host and very accommodating!

Quiet, private, beautiful and peaceful! We had the ENTIRE 4 acres all to ourselves as the first campers lucky enough to stay at George’s Picnic Point Camp!
This campsite had high pressure tasty potable water, new regular 120V electric and RV outlets as well, shady live oak and cedar trees, new BBQ grill, flat concrete raised slabs for tents and cooking, and level concrete parking spots perfect for vans and RV’s. Use Google to find driveway gate
Nature wise these 4 acres were gorgeous with fun rolling hills (in Florida no less,) a gopher tortoise den, 4 Downey woodpeckers, 5 Eastern blue birds, blue jays, an opossum, a cute black cat, wildflowers, it’s mostly fenced in 4 acres great for dogs that mostly listen, private gate, diligently mowed grass, a huge 30-50 acre wood lot behind the property, quiet and seemingly reclusive neighbors on both sides, and minimal light pollution compared to so many other Florida campsites.
There are multiple places to camp on the property if you’re into boondocking or tent camping under a tree, like at the back of the land, but check in with George first.
We were lucky enough to catch George on an improvement day when he was there to add more parking, a new BBQ grill and a few other niceties.
George is a fantastic host, attentive texting communicator which is my style, a gracious and attentive in person, and lives off site but close enough that he can do maintenance when it is needed.
We will definitely be booking again at Picnic Point!
