Long Beach Peninsula has been a family vacation destination for a long time and there's so much fun to be had on every inch of land!
Located centrally between Leadbetter Point and Cape Disappointment, we have 16 full hookup RV sites (30 amp power/water/septic/Wifi) close enough to enjoy the fun of Long Beach and Ocean Park, but far enough to retreat to your camp for quiet and relaxation. We are located in Banks, Oregon. We are approximately 45 minutes west of downtown Portland. Our camping area is about 5 acres and offers something for everyone. If you have a large RV and need a safe and quiet spot to stay for the night, we got you. We have a large fire pit, Adirondak chairs, a large picnic table, and a swing set for the kids. Family get-togethers or birthday parties are welcome!
We are located just 1.5 miles from The Banks-Vernonia Trail. Bike campers are welcome! Feel free to bring along your 4-legged friends as well. We do not have a fence, so if you do not trust your dog of a leash, please keep them tied up. We have a lot of deer that pass through and untrained dogs love chasing them.
Banks has a few restaurants to choose from: Subway, Dairy Queen, Main Street Pizza, Mary's Mexican Food, Hop-Cycle Brewing to name a few. There is also a Supermarket in town just in case you forgot your S'mores supplies, Spirits, or campfire wood. We are about 20 minutes away from McMenamins Grand Lodge, in Forest Grove, which hosts some great live concerts during the summer.
We have a few fishing spots within about 30 minutes of the property. Hagg lake, Horning's Hideout, Dorman's Pond and the Wilson River are all popular spots.
We have clean well water and 50A electrical hookups. We do not offer dumping of black water, but you can empty your tank at the Elks club in Forest Grove (25-minute drive) for free or Camping World over in Hillsboro. I don't mind if you drain your gray water on the property as long as you use a longer hose to keep it away from the immediate camping area. The parking area for RV's is fairly level and easy to get in and out of.
During the late summer, our 5 apple trees produce great fruit. We also have 2 plum trees, and some blackberries. Feel free to pick what you would like.
Currently, we do not have any public bathroom facilities available for campers, so please plan accordingly. Please, only book if you have an RV with working plumbing. **We will not accept tent campers**

Awesome Campground, even better Host! The property is stunning, so much to do, kayaking, swimming and fishing. Great community spaces including clean full bathroom’s and showers, well maintained lawns and trails, and happy friendly campers. Marlisa is a one of a kind. She is friendly, helpful and present in case you need anything, but also gives plenty of space for you to enjoy yourself. Marlisa met us when we arrived and was nothing short of wonderful. We had just driven 4 hours to purchase a new travel trailer and her campsite was our pit stop before driving the 4 hours back home. The new trailer didn’t come with a hose to connect to water and she was gracious enough to lend us one of hers. The facilities and campsite was immaculate and she was very accommodating.

Tons of stuff to do in the area, and walking distance to so many things in Long Beach. Large spacious area that’s mostly level (I had no issues in my 35’ 5th wheel). There’s an RV park a few blocks aware and Abby’s Place blows it out of the water. If you have a chance to book this spot I highly recommend it.

I thought this place was great! The bathrooms are clean, the campground is pretty quiet, and the guy running the place was nice the couple times I chatted with him. There seemed to be mostly long-term rentals, but, as stated, it was pretty quiet and the sites looked clean. The only thing to maybe note was that the site we booked wasn't open when we arrived, if we were reading the map right. But it was also right on the road and wouldn't have been as nice. We ended up tucked in the corner between a couple longer-term residents, one of which had some very cute kitties. No complaints. And the shower had good water pressure! The guy running the place also let us know about the little Saturday market in Ilwaco, that ended up being delightful. Downtown Long Beach was very close, as were the lighthouses.

A perfect spot for our needs: wanting to check the area out including riding the Discovery Trail. From where we were camped we were able to do a loop including the trail and local roads. At the north end of the trail we rode into town, grabbed coffee, and the accessed the trail again.
We were in site#10. It was quiet, level, and a short walk to the bathroom and laundry area. Bathroom was clean and had a great shower. Owners were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Nice location with 30A power, water and sewer. The hostess was nice and treated us well. The restrooms and showers were nice. There an open room where a large group can prepare and eat meals.

Simple, peaceful, and just what we needed for the night. The property was beautiful, the electrical hookup was appreciated, and the covered parking was a huge bonus with the rain. Stanley the dog was absolutely the best part!

Talon has a beautiful property, green and lush, with room to run and play. The hookups were easy to find and the host provided extension cords just in case. Though we ran into no problems during our stay, he was accessable and just a message away.

Great spot. Great views of Astoria and the bridge. We had the spot to ourselves. Nice Fire pit. We enjoyed watching the river. The host was great at communication and very accommodating. There was some highway noise. Easy to ignore with conversation and mild music. It died down considerably after 7pm. There was an uptick of truck traffic in the morning. But overall, we really liked the spot.
