Learn more about this land: It sits upon a meadow with surrounding trees and a cow pasture in the distance. Spring time offers a small pond (please see below), but the Lewis river is close by with tons of recreational activities (swimming, fishing, hiking, wineries, etc.). There are only two sites, far from each other. It is a rural property with some farms AND residential homes/Airbnbs along the river, so, be aware there are cars that drive through the one lane road. Town is not far (six miles) to get supplies and the Heisson convenience store is less than a mile away. Privacy is better here than at a public campground and it's perfect for a quick trip out of town for a day or two or just a quick and safe stop in your travels. This is a beautiful property and I enjoy sharing it, please be mindful of the rules. *This winter was tough, lots of wind, so some trees fell, but they are all cleaned up and lots of small trees were planted. Can't wait until they grow to help for more privacy!!! Please, read each site description carefully! There is NO electricity or plumbing at the sites. I did install a BPA safe hose for water at the top of the hill for your use (I usually have it on but if not please feel free to message me and if I haven't responded within a half hour please feel free to knock on my door). Site 1 does have a camp toilet (composting bucket with seat and lid) because it is mostly a tent site (some small RVs and trailers can fit). Site 2 is for RVs (and tents with them) that already have a toilet so if you are a tent camper and want to book this site you will need to bring your own camp toilet. Dogs are most welcome, and may be off leash for a run in the field, however, they MUST have high recall. Please be mindful of my own dogs and chickens down below so please do not let them go beyond your site or the field when using. *We plan on making the pond to be a swim pond that will hold water all year long (the creek that runs into it is seasonal so it dries out depending on how much rain we get in any given year). Currently, it is dry.

This site sits left of the pond and has a private (tented) outdoor toilet (compost bucket with seat and lid) located nearby (and peppermint is sprayed around it on the ground to help keep critters away). It can accommodate up to two tents with a maximum of four people with room for two vehicles. Please park on the dam, not past it. It's okay if you are not going to arrive at check-in, please inform me of your ETA, especially if it will be dark so I can be prepared to direct you if needed. Please stay within your site (dogs should be teathered unless using the field for a quick dog run or they stay within your area and have HIGH recall) and be mindful of sectioned off areas (to protect growing plants and trees). PLEASE NOTE: the pond is fed by a seasonal creek. It dries out around July depending on how much rain there is. CURRENTLY - it is dry (it is meant to drain slowly to prevent standing water and to protect the wildlife in it, mainly tadpoles that will hopefully have a chance to grow and seek shelter for the rest of summer). There is wild mint growing around in it so it smells good! There is a potable water hose at the top of the road next to the tree. It is usually on for you, but just in case it isn't you are welcome to text me. If I haven't responded within a half hour PLEASE feel free to come get me (knock on my door)! If you would rather not wait for my response then you most certainly can come get me first instead of texting, but again, it is usually on so you probably won't have to anyway.

RV/tent site · Sleeps 8 · Vehicles under 30 ft
This pull-through RV site is at the top of the hill of a wide open field for you to spread out. It has a private fire pit to enjoy. (It can accommodate up to three RVs, just make sure to add extra people at checkout. For example, if you will have another RV join you, add 2 additional people a night. If you have a third RV, add another 2 additional people to the site. This would amount to $20 a night for each RV.) Children are free. PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NOT A TOILET FOR THIS SITE, it is generally for RVs, so, if you only have a tent you MUST bring your own camp toilet to use and pack out. Thank you! There is a potable water hose at the top of the road next to the tree. It is usually on for you, but just in case it isn't you are welcome to text me. Visitors to Anna's campsite consistently emphasize its serene, private setting, with ample space for both solitude and socializing. Guests appreciate Anna's attentiveness and the well-maintained grounds, making it a welcoming environment for dogs and families alike. Many highlight the proximity to nature, with opportunities to enjoy nearby waterfalls and the peaceful presence of wildlife. While the lack of modern facilities like running water and traditional toilets is noted, guests still find the overall experience relaxing and rejuvenating.
