This was a super good spot to stay. Close to lots of activities and plenty of room to camp. Jenny and her husband were super friendly and accommodating. Sounds like there's even more improvements on the way.
The guardian dogs at the neighbors did not bother me while sleeping, and they kept the coyotes away that I could hear in the distance. I definitely recommend staying here.

Site 3 - Sasquatch's Hideaway
Great location for proximity to hiking destinations, thoughtful arraignments (space for tents and we were able to fit two people comfortably in the trailer!), and clean facilities. We wish we would have brought ear plugs for more restful sleep, many animal noises (dogs, rooster, etc) throughout all hours of the night.

Site 2 - Sasquatch's Hideaway
The space is lovely with lots of open area, beautiful light, and easy access from the main road. We had lots of room, clean water, the shower was well appreciated by our teenagers, and the other campsites were as far away as a normal campground if not more, and there were only two of them.
The shooting range was not a problem at all (we were gone during most of the day). Roosters outdoing each other at midnight is a new one for me but didn't bother to much.
Definitely make sure you are ok with barking dogs. Most of our family slept fine but for me, earplugs were no match for the dogs going incessantly at all hours of the night.

Site 3 - Sasquatch's Hideaway
Good location. However, hosts appeared to be out of town. The porta potties were almost overflowing and smelled very bad by site #3. We went to town when we needed to sit down. Weren't really sure the boundaries of site 3 but it turned out it didn't matter. I know dogs are dogs but what did they do to piss off the neighbor to train the dog to bark steadily all night long? Boy does that dog bark.

This site was perfect for what we were looking for when camping in the area. Amenities were on target, the grounds were great. Sure you had some roosters and dogs that bark but not nearly as a distraction that what has been stated. I slept like a baby. All sites were full and active (only 5) and everyone was friendly. The shower on site is great, if there were only one thing I would change, it would to put up shower hooks inside the shower stall to hang cloths or towels. I will most likely be staying here again.

The spot was great to get us closer to our Mt St Helen’s trailhead. Our group of three enjoyed the property basically to ourselves on a Sunday evening. We loved the option to shower, presence of garbage cans, and flat group for tent pitching. Unfortunately the small camper felt too cramped for two people, which was the original plan, so I’d recommend people count on it fitting one person. Additionally the nearby roosters and dogs made noise throughout the night- we used earplugs and still woke up throughout the night.

Site 3 - Sasquatch's Hideaway
Host was friendly and communicative. Site had a small camper to sleep in and plenty of room for a large tent. There was a lot of space for games and activities with plenty of things to keep kids or adults occupied. There were alot of rooster noises but never bothered us. We saw a couple cats, rabbits and deer visiting the site. Everything had a great camping feel with so much to do in a short drive if needed. We would definitely stay again.

this location is absolutely great for a family event pr get-together camp trip/ reunion. there is plenty of room for kids and the camp is located very close to the lakes for fun boat activity days! The neighbors have chickens, geese and guine hens or something very noisy close by and farm cats that will get into your camp food if left accessible (they ate some of my dogs food mid-day when we left for just an hour). Also the gun range is near-by. With this in mind its better to spend your camp day else where such as at the lake! (although any normal campground will not have the same feeling of security that this private property does.... not to mention that other normal campgrounds will have no farm and gun noise but will have other near-by camp strangers making noise too. I prefer the chickens haha.)

Fantastic stay!! Easy to find with the directions, easy to check in, and Jenny was super communicative/accommodating with my questions. Site was clean and the shower was a game changer after the hot weekend hikes! Saw a couple deer one night and really just enjoyed everything about the stay. It's also super close to a lot of fun hiking/swimming areas. I think another review said something about loud neighboring animals, but I didn't find that to be an issue at all. Definitely would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Jenny's, Site 2. It was very spacious, lots of shade, and trees. We had 6 campers, 3 tents, 2 cars, a couple of canopies, badminton set up, and an outdoor screen with tons of space left. The shower with hot water was a bonus. Bikes and kayak rental was a major plus. Kids enjoyed using both. Jenny was very nice and accommodating. We had a great time playing corn hole that is available for all guests. You can see the main house from the front of the site but it felt pretty private. Neighbors across the street put on a fireworks show and we got front row seats on the 4th of July. It was also nice seeing the deer throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend.

We spent two nights there. The site is clean and organized. Love the outdoor shower, it has hot water! The porta potty is clean. The site has enough shade, which keeps the tent cool during the day. Jenny and her husband were friendly and helpful, they came to the site quickly to fix the shower. (The heater needed to change the battery) If you are a light sleeper , earplugs would be helpful. The neighbors dog darks when there are wild animals close by. However, we didn’t have much trouble falling asleep.

We stayed in the cozy cabin. The bed was firm and slept through the night. Any animals near by did not keep us awake.
We were able to enjoy a campfire 🔥 & paid the $5 extra for the wood 🪵 - very convenient. As we were enjoying the campfire we saw bunnies & deer in the soccer field. We let them be & they stayed quite awhile foraging.
In the morning my husband took advantage of the shower & he said it was quite nice & easy to use. 🚿🧼🧽
There’s 2 Porta-potties 🚽 & water spigot 🚰 next to the shower for hand washing etc.
No one else was there but I feel like the campsites were spaced appropriately. 🏕️
I recommend checking this one out if you’re staying in the area!

Huge space. Lots of stuff for the kids to play with. They were a little noisy and no one gave them grief. The dogs barking were noticeable but not a deal breaker. Area is pretty open. We would totally stay again.

This was easy driving distance from cougar and easy to find. It has good cell service and the lawn games were very fun. The only downside was the loud dogs barking at night.

It is a nice little place tucked in the woods, the toilets were clean and easy to access. We stayed here for hiking up Mt St Helens and the closeness makes it ideal. Would recommend!

Jenny’s place was nice. Four separate campsites but we were the only ones there. A great recreational area in the middle with games for the kids. We stayed in site one which had a small bed in a tiny house type structure. Two port-a-potties and water from the hose. No fires due to the burn ban which is understandable. The animals at night were very loud but she’s clear about that so no surprises. Maybe 10 minutes from the lakes. Would go again!

We had a good time staying at this campsite. Booking a was fast and easy. Great location, accessible to pretty much anything you need . Very clean honey bucket.
One thing I could say is that those dog do indeed bark. Like a lot. Like ALL NIGHT! Lol. But better than wolfs or bears right!

Jenny is a great host. Campground is spacious with minimal privacy, and only portapotties. The property is a little out of the way, but not bad considering the massive lack of campgrounds in the area. Doable drive to Ape caves and Laura viewpoint, or for driving around to Windy Ridge of the road opens up again

Site 3 - Sasquatch's Hideaway
Easy to find and large camp sites. Enjoyed seeing the chickens and goats next door. Available firewood (for purchase) for fire pit which was very convenient. Shaded camp sites which was excellent protection from the heat. Very clean property. Other camp goers were all respectful and friendly. The outhouses were of course not a favorite but acceptable. Would recommend.
