Ape caves a short drive away as well as hiking and waterfalls. The small town of Cougar WA is a short drive away and has two restaurants and two stores for shopping.
There is a shooting range nearby so expect to hear shooting. But you are safe.

Site 1 - Sasquatch's Hideaway
Easy. Cozy. Fun!
I loved camping at Sasquatch’s Hideaway! 🌲
Jenny’s communication was great! 📲
Beautiful scenery! 🌲🐿️🦌🐇⛰️
We stayed in the cozy cabin. The bed was firm and slept through the night. Any animals near by did not keep us awake.
We were able to enjoy a campfire 🔥 & paid the $5 extra for the wood 🪵 - very convenient. As we were enjoying the campfire we saw bunnies & deer in the soccer field. We let them be & they stayed quite awhile foraging.
In the morning my husband took advantage of the shower & he said it was quite nice & easy to use. 🚿🧼🧽
There’s 2 Porta-potties 🚽 & water spigot 🚰 next to the shower for hand washing etc.
No one else was there but I feel like the campsites were spaced appropriately. 🏕️
I recommend checking this one out if you’re staying in the area!

Site 3 - Sasquatch's Hideaway
Exactly as advertised
We arrived late so we didn't get to spend as much time there as we would have liked, but the site was charming. The tiny camper was perfect for our needs.

Ape caves camping
Huge space. Lots of stuff for the kids to play with. They were a little noisy and no one gave them grief. The dogs barking were noticeable but not a deal breaker. Area is pretty open. We would totally stay again.

Loved the place and was not overcrowded! Also got a small cabin though we stayed in our tent.

Site 2 - Sasquatch's Hideaway
This was easy driving distance from cougar and easy to find. It has good cell service and the lawn games were very fun. The only downside was the loud dogs barking at night.
