This is our first booking with Hipcamp and Glamping at tge gateway. It was a great experience! Me and my wife brought my Aunt on her first camping trip with us. She enjoyed the stay. It felt safe and was very peaceful. It's close to Twin Beach which is a good place to hangout! Teresa greeted me on our check out day. She also gave us great suggestions for breakfast! The porta potty was very clean! Site 7 is a good spot! Will camp there again!

Glamping at the Gateway 2
Teresa is a great host. She provided clear direction to the site and explained how things work inside the motor home. She was very responsive over phone and also available on site. The motor home was well equipped. There was a community fire-pit that you can share with other campers. The porta-potty outside the motor home was clean and well-maintained. There was also a flush toilet inside the motor home. I’d highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The spaces are quite large, it's pretty peaceful, and was smack dab in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Port-a-potties were super clean, serviced the day before we arrived which was a huge plus. The host was very friendly and gave us a ton of recommendations for hikes to do nearby that weren't on our radar. We will definitely use them again next time we camp in that area.

This was my first time using Hip Camp! I booked Teresa’s campsite same day, right before flying into Portland & driving to Olympic NP. My booking was accepted immediately & directions to drive onto the campsite was very clear. I was the only person staying on her lot that particular night, and I felt very safe showing there as a solo female traveler. Teresa met me as I pulled in even before i texted her, which made locating the campsite I booked very easy. She was wonderful & I felt welcomed. She gave me a run down of the amenities her site had to offer & she gave me suggestions on places to visit in the local vicinity. (I admittedly cannot comment on the amenities too much since I pulled in, set up camp, slept, packed up at day break, then left to do a 3-day 1000-mile road trip with 40-miles of trail running… so I was up and out in a hurry.) I took up her suggestion to visit Devil’s Punchbowl on Lake Crescent first thing in the morning, which was a 9-min drive from her property. Excellent suggestion & well worth the visit! I found the entire process of booking & staying at Teresa’s site very convenient & I would highly recommend her campsite to everyone!

The host was super friendly and accommodating. We needed a site that we could drive into so we could use the car to pump up our mattresses. She even mowed the area for us. The area was perfect to explore the park.

Perfect little tent camping spot, just as advertised. Our host, Teresa, was friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable about attractions in the area. Within one day, we managed to see the forests, two waterfalls, a beautiful lake with a beach, and the breathtaking Pacific Ocean.
We don't get out to that area often, as we live in Seattle, but from now on when we do, Teresa's place will be our go-to spot!

Nice site, with a shared camp sink and port-a-potty, but fairly close without separation to other sites so not a lot of privacy, and roosters next door start crowing at 3am.

We loved Camping on Teresa's Land in the cedars. Perhaps I'm biased because she reminded me alot of family I am fond of, however I believe she's just genuinely good people. Beautiful grassy land surrounded by Cedars. Soft lawn perfect for pitching tents. The kids loved the zipline. She was accommodating and kind. Her land is Far enough away from the city but close enough to Beautiful port Angeles and the Beach. Where else in the world can you camp in the woods, hike the olympic discovery trail, walk through rainforest, and play in the tide pools and ocean all in one weekend? We will definitely be back.

Great spot ideally located near many top attractions. I appreciated the clean porta potty and sink access. Friendly host with a lot of recommendations. As a side note, I loved the morning roosters. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Teresa was great - she provided us with detailed instructions on how to get to her property, where to park, and even offered us the chance to use her propane fire pit because it was an extra chilly night. Her hospitality was greatly appreciated, and I would definitely recommend staying at one of her sites!

My group ended up camping on a really rainy weekend, so we didn’t end up with great weather/time to explore the whole property, but the trip was still very enjoyable. Teresa was a great host and even checked in to see how we were doing in the rain and if we needed anything.

My group and I had a lot of fun we went to lake Cresent , sol duc hot springs and the world war II bunkers teresa recommended. A lot of these places were only a couple miles away from the campsite and we enjoyed our 2 night stay.

Loved camping on site #7! We pulled in after a day at the Lake Crescent - less than a 15 minute drive. Teresa's land is a perfect distance from both Salt Creek(highly recommend) & Lake Crescent. We had a pup with us, and she loved it too :). Only thing to highlight is the roosters popping off in the morning, which was fun :) - otherwise it was super quiet and just a beautiful escape from seattle in the summer! There was decent amount of privacy with the trees around and a beautiful group area :)

Amazing location and amazing host. She is very knowledgeable of the area and provided great tips for places to watch the sunset and hikes as well. There is running water from pumps and each campsite has a bench as well. Site 6 and easily hold 2 or more tents and the cedar provides great cover and amazing photos. There is a lot of room between you and other campers as well.

Teresa's property is at an excellent location with nice sized tent sites. Teresa herself is very sweet and accommodating. The community area was fun and bathroom was very clean! 10/10 would camp again!

The location is very convenient for getting around the area. You are really close to everything, especially Lake Creseant. Teresa was so great and gave us great recommendations. The sites are closer together than I expected so it did get noisy sometimes because of the neighboring plots being loud. There is though amazing wildlife right there. We saw some deer and rabbits out walking around our site. You are also close enough to store and Port Angelos that its easy camping site for car and tent camping.

The location is exceptional with all the trails, lakes and beachfront 5-min distance by car. We enjoyed being surrounded by nature, saw deers, rabbits, horses, cattle. Such an amazing stay!

Teresa was great and had some good suggestions for my son and I. Her property was quiet, peaceful and clean. Our site was tucked under a cedar, which helped keep our camp stove and “kitchen” dry, but all of the sites had nice grass for setting up your tent. Would highly recommend! Thank Teresa!

Teresa's sites made for a great first experience with Hip camp! The prices are great, and there's many options to choose from. The drive-on campsites had perfect spacing, and we were able to use our car as a privacy barrier when we wanted, and even used it to hold up a hammock because of the great big trees around. Fun things nearby, nicely maintained amenities (porta potty, lightning, games for kids). Light sleepers may need melatonin or ear plugs because of other campers (sometimes noise even during quiet hours) and birds/roosters in distance around 5am, since farms are nearby. Would camp again if I ever go back to this area!
