If you love privacy, nature, wildlife, and fresh air, you will love Deer Park Mountain View RV Campsite. Our property is 17 acres of mostly unimproved land. There are open meadows, forested areas, and a trail that circles the property. Find the beginning of the wood-chip trail near the campsite and follow it through the trees. The trail comes out near the house. Enjoy the view and take care near the cliff. The campsite is in a small open meadow surrounded by trees on three sides and with a view to the south toward the Olympic mountains. We have only one campsite. You will be very private with no other campers nearby. Electrical, water, and sewer hookups are provided. NOTE: There are no bathroom facilities for tent campers. SEWER HOOKUP NOTE: Sewer hookup is on the driver's side of the vehicle if you pull in forward. If you pull all the way forwards the sewer hookup will be 24' behind the front tire. There is no turnaround and you cannot drive off the front of the pad. The hookup is raised about 2 feet off the ground to enable gravity feed. It may not work to back in and run the sewer hose on the ground to our connection. Please contact us if you have any questions. ELECTRICAL HOOKUP NOTE: Our hookup is 50 amps. Please let us know if you need a 30 amp adapter. NOTE: We live near a greenspace wildlife corridor and you may see wild animals on our property. It is advisable not to interact with any wild animals. Do not attempt to pet or feed. For more information, please visit the City of Port Angeles website, Living with Wild Animals. There are many outdoor activities in the Olympic National Park, including hiking, camping, climbing, swimming, ocean beaches, etc. Olympic Peninsula Motorcycle Club 1/2 mile. Olympic Discovery Trail for walking and biking 1.6 mi. Shopping in Port Angeles 6 minutes. Hurricane Ridge 45 min. Lake Crescent 45 min. Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort 1 hr. Ocean beaches 1.5 hrs. Hoh Rain Forest 2 hrs. The closest entrance to Olympic National Park is 9 miles up Deer Park Road (narrow one-lane gravel road, no trailers or RVs allowed) with no facilities and a 360 degree view into the Olympics and north to Vancouver Island from the top of Blue Mountain. *Open June until first snowfall.*

Come enjoy the serenity of The Rustic Retreat. Located on 50+ private wooded acres, over a mile off the highway our tent sites will give you the peace and quiet you are looking for. The night sky is clear and perfect for star gazing. This place truly is a piece of heaven. As of right now we have large and small tent sites. There are ponds to look at and eventually they will be stocked with fish. The campsites are not completely flat and may have a few small holes so please be careful and watch your step. A lot of this property has been left natural for years and we are trying to keep it as natural as possible. We do suggest sleeping on an air mattress or camping pad for your comfort. We are just starting out so this place will get better and better as time goes on. We at The Rustic Retreat value your privacy and we try not to interact with campers unless you request. The Peninsula Northwest has some amazing activities including hiking, biking, fishing, crabbing, shrimping, whale watching, beach combing, Kayaking, and so much more. The Rustic Retreat is about 20 minutes from downtown Port Angeles and the Victoria Ferry and about 30 minutes from Lake Crescent. It is the perfect place to stay in between everything. Updates for this season: We have added, moved, and changed the name of some of the campsites, so if you are a returning camper double check the campsite number before booking. One change is, Former campsite 1 (the pond campsite) has been changed to a communal fire pit with log rounds for sitting. This is the only firepit that will be allowed on the premises due to fire danger. The firepit can be used by all campers until the Clallam County burn ban comes into affect. During the burn ban, the firepit will be closed off. We have also added more campsites, walking trails, more lighting and parking. We have not been able to get fish in the ponds yet, however some wild ducks stop by now and again to say hi. The hiking trail head is down the dirt road, west of the porta potty, it is roughly 316 yards to the trail head. Walking and biking is allowed. Trail is very natural so it is uneven, please be careful.

Camping is in an open field just off hwy 112, and is surrounded with trees. We offer fire pits for bbq only (bring your own briquettes), and an outhouse. Hand sanitizer is available in the out house, which we sanitize everyday. We are close to the Elwha river and numerous hiking and biking trails. Seventeen miles outside of Port Angeles. This is a dry camp. Distance from the campground: Olympic Discovery Trail - 1 Mile Elwha Interpretive Center - 2 miles Mouth of Elwha River - 2.5 Miles Salt Creek - 4 Miles Port Angeles - 7.5 Miles Lake Crescent - 15 Miles Also, you'll want to bring your own briquettes. We have BBQ pits for your use. Coming along hwy 112 from Port Angeles you'll cross the intersection of Dan Kelly/Place Road and the highway (don't turn here, stay on highway 112). If your navigation software tells you to turn on Dan Kelly, turn it off. We are NOT on Dan Kelly road. We are on hwy 112. We are the first left, just after the guardrails. Down the gravel road some 75 feet, turn right at the "Ranger Creek Campground" sign and follow the unimproved road about 100 feet to the campground. Campsite 4 is the first one you'll see, further down the road campground 1 is on the left, campsite 2 is on the right, campsite 3 is strait ahead. Please respect the privacy of the other campers. In the rainy season the road in can be slick. Four Wheel Drive vehicles are recommended in the case of large amounts of rain, or snow. Not recommended for RV's or trailers over 15 feet. Pack your own trash out please.

Beautiful setting near the Straits of Juan De Fuca where on a quiet day you can hear the waves as they soothe you to sleep after stargazing the incredible views of the night sky will very little light pollution. You will often see Eagles soar above you and curious deer roam the property as you get ready to get out and discover this gorgeous gateway where so many endless adventures await you just outside your doorstep. A half mile down the road you can visit the whale trail where you will find a Sandy beach, high rocky cliffs , many tide pools to explore, and a resident octopus if you can find him among the starfish. Freshwater bay is excellent for kayaking, hiking, beach combing or sunbathing. Mountain biking is excellent straight from this property as there are many designated hiking and biking trails where there are benches built in at viewpoints to enjoy the panoramic views of the straits, Canada and Olympic National park. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for some WW11 bunkers to explore along your ride. We offer a large grassy communal area with cedar picnic tables, fire pit, Adirondack chairs , potable water ( safe to drink) large BBQ grill, electric outlets, and Cornhole. We are out in the country away from the sounds of the city but close enough to enjoy many beautiful places around you. Port Angeles is 12 miles away, Victoria ferry 20 minutes, 9 miles to Salt Creek , 12 miles to Hurricane Ridge visitor center, 30 miles to Hurricane Ridge Olympic National Park, 1/2 mile to Freshwater Bay, 24 miles to Hoh rain forest, 9 miles to Lake Crescent Lodge and the list goes on! We offer 2 different sites as well as a beautiful glamping experience in our 32ft RV with its own Fire pit, picnic table, Adirondack chairs, bbq stove and indoor and outdoor kitchens. This is your perfect homebase for all your Olympic Peninsula, Canada or Olympic National Park adventures!

Highlights We enjoyed a late-Nov stay with our dog. It was cold, sunny (~8hrs) and crisp. The best: - Lovely short trails right around the property - private, accessible & beautiful. Endless wildlife photo opportunities. Saw 3+ nesting eagles in trees on/around property. Loved the binoculars provided. - Said hello to the cows (very photogenic) + pigs (hollered at us to feed them). A pig escaped but it was friendly and host was responsive. - Close enough to town and private enough to escape it all. Feedback I think important additional info should be included in the listing, so visitors know what to expect before they book, pack, get day-of instructions/rules, arrive, etc. Luckily none of these affected our trip too much because we over-prepared: - Toilet is porta-potty outside the building (clean but spiders!) - No electricity or indoor heat, 2 large batteries supply limited amt. of power. We (sparingly) used ~50% of 1 battery for 2-night stay. - Pictured kitchen equipment (other than outdoor propane camp grill) not available in fall/winter. We ended up going out to eat. - Parking is 100-200ft away from building. Firepit 50-100ft away. No exterior lighting. - Late Nov was cold, dark and wet on the property (which we knew) but due to the above, bring lots of warm clothes, floor coverings, rugs, and battery-powered lighting! I'll reiterate that we had a fantastic stay. I know the host is working on various projects on the site, so maybe we’ll be back in warmer weather!

We had such a lovely time on Jacob’s property. It felt remote and private, while being a short drive into town. Our pup was a little too interested in the farm animals so we did keep her on leash, but she had a great time sniffing around on a long lead. Jacob was so friendly, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend for an upgraded camping experience.

I loved staying at the bungalow! It was the perfect rainy PNW weekend. The property is beautiful and quiet, the cows and pigs were adorable! Very close to the beach and the view of the lake waa amazing. So many more amenities than I was expecting and if it was sunnier I would have taken advantage :) The bungalow was very clean and had everything I needed for the night. I hope to return in the summer!

Spot number one was perfect for my needs! I wish I had been able to stick around and enjoy the area but unfortunately, I just needed a place to pitch my tent to sleep for a night. I came in after dark and left before the sun came up, although my partner stayed a bit later. The campsite was easy to find easy to load in and out of large and quiet. I was grateful for this sites proximity to the Clallam County Fairgrounds.

The Ranger, ha ha inside joke. The GM was extremely helpful on finding the discovery Trail! He knew my first name, but I do not know his. This RV park has only been open for 2 1/2 months. What a wonderful facility. Very clean and well kept. Deer visited our campsite this morning! What a joy. Private individual shower/bathrooms. The whole facility is immaculate. It definitely checked all the boxes quite safe clean and friendly. Thank you so much! You made our visit to the Pacific Northwest a complete joy.

We parked and stayed in our van overnight and it was so great. The fire pit, chairs, and dry firewood available on property was so nice. The site has portapotties and they were the cleanest ones i've ever used, no smell and perfectly clean and stocked. Very quiet and comfortable site, would happily stay again for longer.

Lovely site with beautiful view in central Sequim. Discovery trail crossing in just a few blocks away and access to Olympic NP Hurricane Ridge And Lake Crescent are all less than an hour away. Lavender was still on their plants. Unfortunately the rain prevented us from using the covered area much.

This Hipcamp was great for letting my dog off leash, or for spreading out with a larger group if you have one. The Highland cows were honestly the highlight of the experience and I'm pretty sure Moo-tilda and I are best friends now. The cabin itself was clean and tidy and the hosts friendly. The view from the cabin was lovely. Easy walking distance to the beach - just beware of locals with their off-leash dogs. Not all are friendly.

This spot is perfectly located two blocks from the Straits of Juan de Fuca, where bird watching, fishing, boating, swimming and sunsets are the norm. Jardin du Soleil is a certified organic lavender farm situated on 10 acres of land. We specialize in small-batch craft essential oil. The farm is located next to hundreds of acres of protected land offering views and birdlife, the bald eagles fly over daily. Close to area attractions, such as the Dungeness Spit, Olympic National Park, and several rivers. The farm chickens and goats love to have Hipcampers and are pretty friendly. Thousands of visitors come to this farm during the bloom season (late June, July, and August) but can only stay during business hours. Created over 35 years ago by the Funstons, we (Will and Asha) became the stewards of this beautiful property in June 2016. We live on the property with Clancy, Uncle Larry, Tim and Pete and our friendly dog Pickle. 3 Secluded campsites are nestled among cedars, firs, hemlock and maples.  Site 1 & 2 have a 2 Night minimum stay, Site 3 has a 1 Night minimum stay. Tents only, no vehicle camping/trailers or pets please. Community firepit has chairs, with Free firewood (‘a curated selection of site-grown firewood’ may include:  cedar, fir, hemlock, cherry, madrone, etc). The nearby Tent Shelter features cold water, a picnic table, countertop for indoor/outdoor food prep and dining, along with trash cans and a camp stove. Sanican is a short walk from the tent sites.  We have lovely Woods with sculptures and artwork created from materials found on the property by our friend Pete. We also have Gardens to wander in to support your sense of peace and connection. Safe, secure, private, scenic. Please have no more than two people and one vehicle per site. There is no electricity available in the Tent camping area. This is NOT a party camp space. We are a place for peace and quiet where you can enjoy the woods. We are also not suitable for children (if you have tweens/teens, message us). We have too many "attractive nuisances" for young children to be safe. You're staying on a 7 acre, mostly forested parcel, 1/4 mile from Hwy 101, mid way between Port Angeles and Sequim, WA. Some traffic hum, but not much, and it varies depending on how the wind is blowing. We're 3/4 miles East of the Deerpark entrance to Olympic Natl Park, 4.5 miles East of the Main Olympic National Park Wilderness Information Center.

Welcome to our passion project, a completely restored and preserved '77 Airstream Argosy. Tucked in a forested corner of our plot, only 3/4 mile from downtown Sequim you'll get the BEST of camping without any of the worsts of camping. Spend evenings in the wood fire hot tub under the stars and slip into 100% cotton sheets on an oversized camper mattress & French Flax bedding. Tucked into the fully fenced and forested quarter of our lot, once parked and past the gate you'll feel as though you've entered the best camping spot in the entire campground - only thing is, you've got the whole place to yourself. Our aim was to create the best of camping without any of the pain that usually accompanies it. No packing up the camper, trailer hookups, towing on wild highways, backing up and parking, loud neighbors but instead... complete privacy, a fully outfitted camper with all the interior amenities you could dream of (think fully equipped kitchen, games, books, bedding, toilet paper - we've got it all) a propane fire pit, already chopped firewood for the WOOD FIRE HOT TUB under the stars, a solar outdoor shower to rinse yourself off, a large curved deck with a table and chairs. Depending on the season you may even find a fridge stocked with farm fresh eggs. The property that the campsite is located on is also fully gated so you won't have to worry about security and your privacy. Unless you need something you'll be fully left alone and safe. PLEASE note that Vintage Camping Trailers are petite. The walking path from the front to the back of the trailer is narrow. The bed is a FULL size mattress. That being said, we did spring for a very tall mattress so once you're in the bed you will be as comfy as possible. This camping experience is best for those who are also petite. Tall travelers may find the height of the inside shower and the entire camper a bit cramped. Additionally, the bed can most definitely fit two sleepers but please ensure you comfortably fit on a full size mattress before you commit. Remember, the spirit of this stay is luxury camping, but it's still camping.
