We have lovely Woods with sculptures and artwork created from materials found on the property by our friend Pete. We also have Gardens to wander in to support your sense of peace and connection. Community firepit w/ Free firewood (‘a curated selection of site-grown firewood’ may include: cedar, fir, hemlock, cherry, madrone, etc) has chairs & table. The nearby Tent Shelter features a picnic table, a camp stove w/ propane, picnic table for indoor/outdoor food prep and dining. Covered Recycle & trash cans nearby, our (very clean) Sanican is a short walk from the tent sites. You're staying on a 7 acre, mostly forested parcel, 1/4 mile from Hwy 101, mid way between Port Angeles and Sequim, WA. Some traffic hum, but not much, and it varies depending on how the wind is blowing. We're 4.5 miles E of Olympic National Park Wilderness Information Center. Only 3/4 miles E of the Deerpark entrance to Olympic Natl Park, Elwha, Dungeness & Lake Crescent all nearby. All Campsites, 1- Night minimum, 7-nite maximum stay. Fun fact, here, there have never been actual numbers on the sites, so *yours* will always be the perfect one, which you choose when u arrive). Tents only, NO vehicle/trailer camping. No pets please (per our dogs' request) Safe, secure, private, scenic, no more than two people and one vehicle per site. There is no electricity available in the Tent camping area. (Wifi & recharging at big barn) This is NOT a party camp space. We are a place for peace and quiet where you can enjoy the woods. We are also not suitable for children (if you have tweens/teens, message us). We have too many "attractive nuisances" for young children to be safe. LGBTQIA friendly Our property was thoughtfully develped over 35 years ago by the Funstons, we are 2nd owners. Created over 35 years ago by the Funstons, we (Will and Asha) became the stewards of this beautiful property in June 2016. We live on the property with Clancy, Uncle Larry, Tim and Pete and our friendly dog Pickle. Secluded campsites are nestled among cedars, firs, hemlock and maples. Tents only, no vehicle camping/trailers or pets please. Community firepit has chairs, with Free firewood (‘a curated selection of site-grown firewood’ may include: cedar, fir, hemlock, cherry, madrone, etc). The nearby Tent Shelter features cold water, a picnic table, countertop for indoor/outdoor food prep and dining, along with trash cans and a camp stove. Sanican is a short walk from the tent sites. Great campsite under the trees with very cool grounds to explore. Hosts were wonderful, gave us a thorough run-down and then left us to our evening. Good facilities, love that they have a communal cook stove for you to use.
