Stayed here Th-sat at sites 5 & 6 with family and had a fantastic time. Mostly quiet campground, late Friday arrivals were there for a good time. Beautiful and plentiful river access points for wading, rock hunting and sitting with a cup of coffee in the misty morning. Owners brought down a grill since there was a fire ban- very sweet! Will definitely be returning.
This site was great! What a beautiful spot for a camp. The setup was just as expected, with little extras like a community cornhole game my family could enjoy. Carol communicated well before my journey as well, and that helped.
Great site! Very clean beautiful spot right on the river. Camp sites are fairly close to each other, #2 is a little more secluded.
This site was right by the beautiful river, peaceful, and so clean! Can’t wait to come back soon 😌

Beautiful site by the river. Nice shared amenties.
Such a beautiful spot. Would absolutely come here again. The 2 port a potties were very clean, easy to locate, host was very quick to respond, lovely, checked on us to make sure everything was good the second day, and also gave us privacy. Bring cash for the firewood, $5 a bundle. We appreciated that being available and easy to access last minute. We did lots of exploring in the area, and felt safe to leave our campsite unattended. Site 4 was perfect right on the river, and easy to make it more private with setting up the tent and car between sites. Lovely little spot, and absolutely beautiful.

Very magical stay. Lovely camping area and beautiful river.
Best campsite I think we’ve ever had. Beautiful magical and right on the river. Had firewood right there for sale, extra chairs to borrow, even first aid if we needed. It was peaceful and every site even though within view was very private. The river access there was unbelievable though.
Loved driving the truck out and having the view of the river from our bed when we woke up in the morning. Thanks for a great spot!

This campsite is right by Lyre river. The quite, private and very clean! Highly recommended for relax getaway!
Such a cute little family campground! Port-a-potties are well maintained, sweet communal area for socializing, and the river is easily accessible from multiple points. Felt very safe as a solo camper. Loved it! Would book again.

The A frame was perfect for us. Loved being near the river. Absolutely beautiful. Clean sanicans.
What a great tent camping spot. My husband and I camped with our 3 children along with another family of 4. With only 6 spaces available it's a great space to relax and let kids play. Carol had games/outdoor toys available for them to use, plenty of river access areas, a few community areas including a covered campfire area which we utilized one of the evenings we were there. There are porta potties on site that are well maintained and cleaned daily. Such a great experience overall. We will definitely be back!

The view of the river was amazing! I loved having access to it! There was neighbors but none of them were loud enough to hear! It was very quiet and peaceful! Would go again!
It was a gorgeous stay and everyone was respectful. Clean campground and clean porta potties! Awesome river access. Joyce general store is right down the road for anything you need last minute. The A frame was awesome to stay in too. My only critique would be to encourage campers to nicely close the door to the porta potty behind themselves. All through the night we heard the porta potty doors slamming closed. A small thing and it wouldn’t keep me from staying here again! Thank you so much!!
Beautiful site right on the River! Facilities are on property and very clean! It is hard to tell in photos but all of the sites are in a circle around shared patio and it was great to meet new people!

We had a wonderful stay at the riverside campsite. The location is beautiful, quiet, and very relaxing, with an easy access to the river. Everything was clean and well maintained. We also loved that there were plenty of games available for guests to use. Highly recommended!

This is a very sweet spot and we WILL be back! Great layout, clean, and so peaceful.
My young family (4yo and 1yo) and large dog fully enjoyed camping on Carol's land. The entrance was easy to locate and navigate. She greeted us with a wave and hello from her porch as we drove by to the campsites. The camping area was beautiful! We stayed in site 4, which was tucked away at the far edge and felt quiet and private. There were a few marked river access points and other paths formed, that had the campground been full, I don't think anyone would've felt crowded exploring the rivers edge. There were 2 well maintained porta potties, a shared common area for yard games and a gazebo with campfire pit. We enjoyed our stay, have recommended to friends and hope to return before summer's over.
Great signage & directions to camp. Absolutely stunning & spacious campsite tucked in the back of the property. River is gorgeous. Thank you Carol for coming out and saying hello, was great to meet you

I love this property!! Eagles flying over my camp …Butterflies and Deer!! Nice covered gathering area. So nice to be right next to the River!!!
We love this campground; this is the second time we are coming here. It is very cozy, well kept, clean and just amazing. Lyre river is beautiful. Lake Crescent is 15-20 min away.

Carol's property is gorgeous. Our camp (#3) next to the river was calm and comfortable. The portable toilets were kept very clean. The sites are quite large, so you're not very close to other campers. That said, there is not a ton of privacy, at least at site #3, as the campground is fairly open. We had some difficulty finding the turnoff from the highway, but Carol was quick to answer our phone call and very patient and helpful. Better signage and driving directions could help make this experience even better.
Site #4 is great! It’s a little secluded portion in the corner and it is really nice to hear the river while you sleep. Definitely will be back. Carol was also super nice and came to check on everyone who were spending multiple nights in the morning.
Cash only for wood but there is wood and a fire pit per spot. $5 for a pack of wood with kindling. I told Carol about the online hipcamp way to sell wood so that might be added.
Overall great experience!
The small A-frame on the property was perfect! My dog and I stayed warm and cozy on our double-sized air mattress, and still had plenty of extra room to move around. The property is beautiful! We walked along the trails and waded in the clear, cool water. We will definitely return.
Amazing spot right by the river. There were other nearby camping spots, but it was spacious and felt relatively private still. The owner, Carol walked through and said hi to everyone and checked in with us which I thought was so sweet. I would totally stay here again. Great home base for checking out the Olympic National Park. Thank you Carol!!
