Good little last minute spot.

Site was pretty quiet, we had noise from a passing train in the morning though. Nothing crazy. We were in Site 3 which was away from 1 and 2 so nothing to note about neighbors. Good clean water from a tank and a clean portajohn were fine. Our site was well mulched. Ground wasn't quite level in our campsite though we had enough room to orient feet down. Nice little picknick table. Standard fair. We were there early September and temps were great and we had no rain. Saw some biiig slugs in the morning on the road and there were blackberry bushes all around. No complaints.

Quiet forest site

Site (#1) had everything we needed. It’s right off the highway and very convenient to Olympic National Park/Lake Crescent, Salt Creek, and Port Angeles. We had our small teardrop trailer and had no issues getting in and getting it situated, but would not recommend it for anything too much larger. Clean porta-potty, water, and garbage on site. I did not see Pepper Creek anywhere…not sure it exists? Forested sites with not much else around - you should plan to use it as a launch point for exploring other areas. Might be boring if you have kids who want to explore while you hang at camp. Otherwise, great no-fuss place to camp!

The Pepper Creek location was great for visiting the Salt Creek tide pools and Lake Crescent. We found it exactly as described. The portapotty was clean with lots of TP and the potable water was good and convenient. We were in #3. The spots are somewhat close to each other, but so are many camp grounds. #2 looks like it might be a bit more secluded. We heard the roosters occasionally but it was not annoying. (We have camped elsewhere that was much closer to chickens so we know). The trees around the site are beautiful and wood chips have been distributed to make the site less dusty. Very nice touch! The picnic table was great and the tent site gave us room for our tent with no issues. Our tent is rated a “six person” size, which is roomy for 2 people. Aside: We stopped for breakfast on Sunday morning at the nearby Joyce & Co cafe. The pancakes were delicious!

Solid family campsite

Our family of four stay at Pepper Creek, and it was a great base camp for our Olympic peninsula adventures (Salt Creek, Dungeness Spit, Lake Crescent, Hurricane Ridge, Sol Duc, Shi Shi Beach). It's much quieter than a public campground -- which is nice; but if you have small children it means there is less nearby to keep them entertained.

This was a magical spot to pop a tent and enjoy the giant trees! The ground was really soft which made it easy to stake a tent. The bathroom and potable water made this a really convenient spot as well.

Very intuitively set up to maximize privacy! Very clean port o potty and campsites. Close-ish to highway but we couldn't hear any cars AND there was 5G available!

Overall the site was fine, I didn’t set up a tent as I was car camping but there was plenty of space. However, the sites are all pretty close together so if you’re looking for more privacy this might not be it. The portapotty was also out of hand sanitizer.

My wife and I camped here as part of our trip for our honeymoon. They had a convenient restroom and potable water. The site itself is within an easy drive of a lot of great hiking. We enjoyed how quiet and secluded it felt. We would highly recommend!

Stunning Scenery

There's some good and bad about camping at Jamie's place. The bad is there's quite a bit of car traffic during the day. The land is really unleveled. Other than that it was beautiful scenery. Secluded and private. Has a toilet, water, and trash can. I would definitely go back.

A Peaceful Forest Retreat

Pepper Creek is a new favorite of ours! We already know and love the area, so finding this place was a treat. It's well off the road, down a long driveway, in thick forest. We felt lucky that no one booked the other site while we were there. It wouldn't likely have been a problem as there was some distance and vegetation between the two sites. The other site was very heavily shaded, while ours was more exposed, at least in the picnic table area. That would usually be great, but we were there during a heat wave and spent most of our time sitting in our lawn chairs beneath the big cedar tree. The driveway and country road were great for walking the pups, and that's where we saw the cutest thing ever - a chipmunk on a sapling eating a blackberry, LOL. We never saw anyone else or had anyone drive through our camp. The porta-potty was super clean. We only used the water for dish washing. We had excellent Verizon signal. We'd love to camp there again one day!

We rented both Pepper Creek spaces for our family. They both fit a tent and vehicle comfortably. They are across the dirt road from each other. Close enough to be convenient for our larger group and far enough away that each side could also have some privacy. Beautiful land, easy access to the porta potty, water, and garbage can. Some noise from nearby road and animals, but very enjoyable.

Pepper Creek is better than any Park or Forest Service campsite! Being that there only the two sites makes it even nicer and with potable water available. We liked it for it's close proximity to Port Angeles. We will stay here again when in the area.

I only needed a place to spend the night since I got in after sundown and left at sunrise. It worked for my needs and it was a beautiful lush site with wood chips that made the ground feel plush. Host was also quick to respond to any questions :) Things to note: You can still hear traffic since it's close to the road, but there's visual privacy from main traffic. Site 1's tent area is located facing the driveway to the campsites so there's less privacy and car headlights will shine at your tent, but the picnic table and campfire is located in the back and there's sufficient distance and visual barrier between both sites. The bathroom is serviced at intervals and was also out of toilet paper, so you may not get a clean start and bring your own toilet paper just in case. Neighbors have chickens and dogs that crow and bark repeatedly at sunrise. Not too loud, but may bother light sleepers.

Their land was beautiful, loved having access to potable water straight from lake crescent and east access to lots of gorgeous spots along the 112!highly recommend, hope to return!
