Tourner Dans Le Vide is literally one of the last places in this world where you can escape the modern world and see what the world is truly meant to be in its natural state . a place where your cell phone doesn't work and their is no internet.a true place of peace .true peace! hundreds of birds singing in harmony at sunrise all throughout the day . escape down into the Vally shaded and surrounded by two hundred foot tall trees . friendly curious bumble bees buzzing all around flowers and different colors everywhere you look. This place truly makes you feel like you just found one of the last remaining paradises on earth.you can either set up camp down in the void next to the running stream and fall asleep to the sound of a running stream or you are welcome to set up somewhere a little closer up on top of the hill closer to the house and amenities.here you will feel welcome and we will accommodate and do our best to make you feel welcome .respect the land and make sure the people that come after you may enjoy a true place of peace as well. we are currently working to add extra amenities which will include something new every year such as adding to our awesome collection of lights for after the sun goes down.for example hundreds of lazers dancing in the top of the canopy at night is something everybody deserves to see. we offer several primitive tent sites . and a couple small camper sites without hookups.so be sure that when you come here to camp that its "camping".lol. we put a movie on the projector outside every Sunday evening along with snacks and drinks inviting all to join. every other Friday night we shoot some fire works and hope to see the kiddos running around and flying on the tire swing. we really hope to see this awesome place get shared and enjoyed by campers for years to come and grow into a traditional place for families to create amazing memories . and that won't happen without you so pack your bag ,hop in the car load up the fam and come escape into the void with us. were here 24/7.

SCAM

This is a scam, I am not sure why there is even a posting because it should be removed from Hipcamp. We showed up, there were no campsites, ran into the neighbor who said the “host” had been evicted months before. I reached out to the “host” multiple times who never responded until later in the night explaining he had just got the phone number and was not the “host.” We had to drive almost 3 hours round trip, waste gas and for nothing.

Crystal Brook

Secluded and peaceful

This place is such a great find! Jimmy was very hospitable and helpful during our stay. The Crystal Brook site is SO peaceful, secluded and offered lots to do…we hiked down the creek (brought water shoes), we brought paints and painted a river rock, fell asleep to the sound of the babbling creek, hung hammocks for naps right by the water. As the listing mentions, you do need 4w drive to get back up the hill (unless you hike it). Lots to do nearby as well - we hiked at a state park just 8 minutes away and enjoyed the best ever homemade ice cream at Handel’s. We will definitely return!

Better For Tents Than RV

The host was very welcoming and friendly, yet the site was not at all what I was expecting, and we did not end up staying. While the text sites are near the creek and more private, the RV site is next to the driveway just before the house. The site is wooded and there is no cleared space (other than the driveway), and no view.

Crystal Brook

MUST TRY❤️❤️❤️

Hands down the most peaceful, beautiful camping spot I’ve came across. The hosts are are unbelievably gracious and kind. Waking up in the early morning to all the singing birds and the tiny bit of mist from the dew reminds me of a rainforest! I would definitely recommend❤️❤️
