Cabin in the Woods
My husband and I really enjoyed our anniversary stay at the cabin in the woods! Their property is absolutely beautiful with a creek running beside it. They provided some of the most beautiful breakfasts we’ve had, and both Ken and Janet were so friendly and very helpful with recommending local activities. We would highly recommend staying here for a perfectly relaxing retreat!

Rest and reset retreat
Ken has created a special secluded island in the woods for rest a relaxation. I felt comfortable and calm all weekend long. The hot tub was extra hot, the coffee was extra tasty and the tipi’s felt warm and inviting. 10/10 would recommend to all my friends and family.

Easy “camping”, Great staff
Tipi Village was the easiest Memorial Day weekend camping trip ever. They provided beds, bedding, towels, seating areas, a dishwashing sink, and breakfast. Honestly, half of the camping gear I packed stayed in the rooftop carrier and I never thought about it until we got home and I had to unpack it all :-D A few other things I appreciated. The buildings were all constructed by the owner who was formerly a professional builder. It was nice to see the personal touches in his handiwork. The eating and cooking areas are all outside and made for comfortable social distancing (the kids aren’t old enough to be vaccinated). The tipis look cool! Great conversations with the staff all around.

Gratitude
A genuine space for peace. Came for a weekend getaway from Portland. My friend and i had plans to explore the area between Eugene and Crater Lake. We didn’t get too much time on the property during the day, but the evenings were relaxed and just what we needed after exploring. The breakfast was incredible! Due to Covid the hot tub was not in service, but honestly tipi time was still great. Ken was so welcoming and friendly. I wish we had more time there, but this just means we will have to return again :)

Quiet creekside tranquility
Very nice woodsy, quiet retreat in an enchanting little forest garden. The quiet and the sound of the creek quickly change a stressed out mood to tranquility. This is a place to come and just relax and do nothing much, listening to the creek or enjoying the sun on the meadow.. Ken and Janet are most welcoming, and really knock themselves out making their guests comfortable. I also appreciated their respect for privacy and solitude. The breakfast was awesome, and the tipis are very comfortable.

A very magical & spiritual retreat!
It was very cathartic and magical.. The TipiS are situated in the most beautiful forest on the edge of a river/creek..Janet and Ken were very warm and welcoming.. They served a wonderful breakfast every morning rain or shine! It was a very unique and fun experience and I definitely would recommend Tipi Village for any reason to just get away from the daily grind.. I promise you you will feel renewed and refreshed.

Tipi Village Retreat is a beautiful, charming and restorative. The tipis were comfortable and inviting and the owners so very nice. The make an amazing breakfast that really fills you up for the day as well as a great cup of coffee. The hot tub was a beautiful place to soak in while looking at the moon and listening to the babbling creek. My young children loved the chickens and the paths to explore and to ride their bikes. Great for families or a romantic getaway.

Calapooya Tipi
Ken and Janet welcomed us at the Tipi Village Retreat on a Friday afternoon. We spent the night in the Calapooya Tipi which is perfectly located under a tall cedar tree, by the stream. All tipis have access to a centrally located bath house with two full bathrooms. Ken and Janet’s attention to details is impressive: from the Pendleton blankets to the paths that are lit at night and the tiny library perched on a tree! Did we mention that there is a hot tub?! A gourmet breakfast is served a 9am. You won’t be hungry for a couple hours after such a feast!
