Welcome to Timber Canyon Ranch! A rustic tree farm with ocean views on the Oregon Coast. Experience a variety of epic group camping locations just above the iconic surf spot, Oswald State Beach, also known as Short Sands. Whether you're set on catching waves, hiking Smugglers Cove or exploring the charming towns of Cannon Beach and Manzanita, our picturesque property provides the perfect basecamp for your adventures. Abundant fun awaits you at one of our several different expansive 80-acre group sites; accommodating anywhere from 5 to 50 people. Revel in the variety of our ocean views, creek access/frontage, and unparalleled privacy. With this unique setting, why settle for a traditional campsite ever again? Embrace the extraordinary at our exceptional location and enjoy waking up to the sound of the surf and majestic ocean views. Disclaimers: Although Short Sands Beach / Oswald State Park is close, it’s not really walkable. However, it’s only half a mile North on Hwy 101 to the parking lots from our gate. Most of the campsites are about a half mile up the hill from our main entrance. So a total of about a mile to the beach. Each of our campsites are very rugged: not super flat and have jagged rock. The roads getting to each campsite are STEEP, NARROW, and have very FEW TURNAROUND OPTIONS. We recommend ONLY EXPERT drivers with 4x4 rigs. Lastly; there are no bathrooms! Please make sure you bring your own bathroom!

Exceptional campground! Our kids loved playing with all the toys, tractors on the campground. Anne was extremely responsive and she even provided a propane grill for us. We had a wonderful time and will be back for sure!!! Thank you again Anne
