We needed a place to stay for the night between picking up one kid from a week at camp and dropping off the other on Sunday. The Lodge was the right size for us to sleep and have a comfy place to hang out and play games. David was a very accommodating and responsive host. We were very happy to have a place where we could bring the dog (he gets quite anxious when boarded). And the A/C upstairs made for a lovely, cool night!
It's a great place with many antique and unique things at the lodge. We spent a night there and were very comfortable. The host, David, stays nearby as well, and you can contact him for any help. If you're passing through the area and need a night or 2 to crash, definitely choose this spot!
This is a comfortable, woodsy tiny house cabin. It has all the amenities you could need and the host is attentive. Warm, private, nicely decorated with antiques. Good place to stay close to adks
“Little Brookie “ is an impressive and whimsical lodge nestled in a cranny of a beautiful wooded area. . David, the host, allowed for comfort/privacy, which afforded us peace of mind and relaxation. Trails, fishing, antique stores, etc are just a drive away, and worth checking out.
Bottom line: Yes, it’s absolutely worth it it, and you’ll fall in love, just like we did!
