The lighted woods trails were enchanting. They are soft and the property has gentle hills. Wildflowers were bloomed. It was peaceful and quiet for sleeping.
I knew about the rooster so was prepared for morning. Host John was kind and generous and is a fan of good music. The atmosphere was relaxing.
I didn’t use the shower so can’t speak on that.
I appreciate that there were parks nearby. I stopped at one on my way out of town to see the river.
I’m a van camper so I was parked by the bathroom and kitchen.. If you tent camp and carry into the trails to a spot you’d be away from those accommodations yet have more privacy.

This is my first farm experience and it was pretty cool. I had a little run in with the chickens but that was actually a fun experience, if you never fought a chicken your missing out on life. The outside kitchen was stocked with everything I needed and the host was pretty chill. It's a lot of space to camp and plenty of firewood to burn.

This was a bad experience.
The pictures for this listing are not accurate. There is a lot of trash. And we noticed late in the game that there are no reviews since 2020…
We arrived at the campgrounds around the established check in time. At that time, the instructions said that we needed to contact the host upon arrival. I had texted a bit earlier to note that we were on our way. When we arrived, we didn’t see an indication that anyone was present, and we didn’t receive a reply.
We didn’t hear anything from the host until the next morning. They said we received the wrong message. But they have been unwilling to make this right, even though we were forced to book another site.
A week later, we are waiting for the host to reply to HipCamp, but he has been ignoring their messages.

The "Shadow Cruiser" Truck Camper
Our stay ( myself, 4 young children and dog) stayed almost a week in the camper. It was a weird time of year and we were the only campers. The space was AMAZING! My kids had so much fun playing with their hula hoops, swing set, and massive trampoline while I was able to cook just beside in their outdoor kitchen. The hosts were so nice and helpful and friendly— I very easy going energy about them that makes you feel like a welcome me guest and new friend. Every time we needed something John was so prompt and thorough. The camper was very cozy and warm, hot shower available and was awesome, and the place was both adventurously fun and well organized. Next time it’s possible we will come back and I highly highly recommend this little gem!

Catching some great weather this past weekend, my fiancée and I and our dog booked Johns place and it was the perfect end to our camping season. He and Jill were fantastic hosts, they helped us pick out a great spot to camp on their property and brought our dog some water when we were by the campfire. The music was great! We’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends, and booking in the future.

Great campsite. John was really friendly and everything was very clean. We arrived on a cold and rainy night and John made a fire in the warming tent for us! Highly recommend this campsite and we will certainly be back.

What a cozy spot! The site was very clean upon arrival and felt so homey. Everything you need is here! Plenty of dishes, fire wood, showers, electricity and more.
We had so much fun wandering around the property meeting all of the animals! Especially the owners’ dog, Frank! We spent most of the day hanging in the woods and late nights sitting by the fire pit, with plenty of wood to keep it going on a nice late summer night! An easy day trip could be made to the nearby beach. There's good cell service here so feel free to unplug and relax or stay in touch.
The evenings were spent by the stage, listening to live music. Acoustics sounded great and the set up was safe and spacious. Thank you so much! That was a nice perk to the weekend. Such a great little spot here, hope to be back again one day!

Deep Woods Camping near the Grand
Super positive vibes! We couldn't have asked for a more welcoming host and a cuter campground doggie. Would recommend to our friends and will definitely come back in the summer.

What an Awesome Place!! Words just cannot express how beautiful and inviting it is at Camp Clear Sky!! The music is wonderful, the Vibes are phenomenal and the Energy through the roof!! Everything was clean, the showers hot and John and Jill were beyond kind and welcoming!! We Thank you guys for an awesome visit, and we'll definitely be visiting again!!

Very welcoming :)) we had an amazing private campsite back in the woods . It felt like a little community . Everything was socially distanced and safe . We will be back very soon :))

Staying at John and Jill’s place was so relaxing and wonderful. The venue is very spacious with lots of sites to camp, and they had a socially distant gathering space where we all jammed together. I needed this.

We had an amazing time! John and Jill and their son and friends are a beautiful community of musicians and generally welcoming and relaxed humans! The land has a lot of pretty trees and they have a nice bathroom and outdoor kitchen set up.
