It's a small but beautiful site, with direct beach access. It was very quiet except for the Cranes and frogs haha. Will definitely keep this on my will go back to hipcamps. My trailer is 27' 9" and my truck is 22'. I recommend coming in from the south as it was impossible to back in from the north.

This was a really good place to park our converted van for a couple nights. The views were amazing and lots of wildlife! Definitely make sure you back in as it is very sandy! It's very secluded but not at the same time. It is right off a dirt road and you'll have a few cars go by, I was kinda under the impression it was more remote. You have a few neighbors but there's a privacy fence. Super thankful for the outhouse and the fire ring! And the beach was wonderful. Would definitely come back again.

Loved this spot. We were here in November and it was perfect, absolutely beautiful.
The beach is very nice and there is a park about a mile down the road.
The only suggestion I would make is if you don’t have 4x4 to keep your car near the road or the porta potty as the sand gets pretty soft further in.
Also, regarding the sand, I was surprised that it does not stick to the bottom of your shoes and dogs feet. Even after it rained. We had almost no sand in our camper over the weekend.
I would highly recommend this site!

Wonderful spot right on the beach! Porta Poty and garbage available. 2 picnic tables and a fire pit. The moon and sun rises were epic! Careful where you park, the sand can be pretty loose.

This is a perfect little spot that offers everything that makes the UP great. Amazing clean beach with an amazing view, you get to see the entire night sky. On the other side of the site you get yet again another amazing view of a beautiful winding slough with an amazing view of the forest as a background. The site is on a very remote dirt road so very little traffic. It's only an hour away from Copper Harbor and 1.5 hours from the Porcupine Mountains. Plenty of nice trails close by and I'd highly recommend exploring Lake Linden, it's a small town, the locals are friendly and they make some good comfort food if you're tired of eating protein bars and retort pouches.

The site was not what we expected. Very close neighbors, deep sand that we would have been stuck in (going in and out) if not for our 4-wheel drive, out house way too close, “washboard” road that we had to go 5 mph on, had to ask a local couple where we could turn around so we could back into the site, and not clearly marked,

Amazing spot on the water. Todd was very accommodating and kindly let us beach camp! The site is not "Private" Private but the road is gravel that passes by and it was low use this time of year... Also for those concerned there is a privacy fence from the neighbors.. Would 100% recommend with a pup that loves water... ours had an absolute blast. Planning on making it a yearly trip! Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful spot!

Incredibly beautiful!! Private spot right on the beach with plenty of room, port a potty, picnic tables. It was everything and more. You get sunset behind you and sunrise in front over the water. Pretty amazing and would stay again no question!

The location was wonderful, hearing the waves at night and morning, brilliant stars at night, and enough breeze so it wasn't too warm. We didn't see many people and enjoy feeling as if we are somewhat isolated. We took our canoe out on Lake Superior several times when the water was calm. It was so beautiful, you could see the bottom of the lake in deep water.

Love this scenic spot! We saw eagles,cranes,deer and float planes! Quiet serenity! The added table and garbage can was a nice surprise!

Maybe we got lucky but most of the other cottages around us were not occupied during our stay so it felt like we had the beach to ourselves. .

A wonderful place. Beautiful views with the biggest and most private beach you can hope for. We were here a year ago and having this beach brought us back. Nice new picnic table and fire ring. Dry level site and clean bathroom. An eagle family resides in view of camp.
Stable flies were all over the U.P. this week no matter where you went. Nice swimming and gorgeous sun rise and sunsets. Will return.

What a beautiful campsite ! Amazing sunrises and the ultimate place for swimming! Great for kids and pets. Blueberries everywhere!
Close enough to all the keewanaw has to offer!
Now the downsides... the road was busy, a car every 3 to 4 minutes and since you are close to the road everyone has to look to see what your doing. Not so bad but it was dry and they kick up alot of dust and would cover the site in a cloud every time. Other bad news is that apparently no one wants to pee in the port-a-potty because the sand by the trees smells horrible when it warms up and unfortunately for us we set up our tent under those trees. Yuk!
Nothing in life is perfect and you can tell the hosts care. Please take care of these sites so we can enjoy them in the future. Gentleman! Use the port-a-potty provider please!

The scenery is stunning. We kayaked from the beach, swam, etc. Mostly though we used it as a base camp to explore copper harbor and lake of the clouds, mine museums, waterfalls etc which is all a bit of a drive to explore but well worth it. Outhouse was an outhouse, no complaints. The neighbors are close on the one side, unfortunately for us they had tons of people and dogs over and the dogs, although friendly, kept coming to our camp and bothering our dogs so we were glad to leave during the day to explore. Overall it is an amazing spot and would stay again if we are UP (see what I did there 😉) that way again.

A wonderful location on the Big Traverse Bay of the Keweenaw Peninsula! Spacious camp area with private beach access! Enjoyed the shallow water and sandy shoreline and I've never seen Lake Superior this calm!

This spot is beautiful. A sweeping view of Traverse Bay with a sand beach on one side, and a marsh view on the other. Super quiet at night. We will definitely be back.

What an amazing spot! This was by far our favorite camping spot of our UP trip- our kids are asking to visit it again, already!
We were lucky enough to have a bit of wind, which kept the bugs at bay. You are in between a bay and the lake, so expect a bit of wind- secure everything down properly.
Our only constructive feedback is the porta John needed to be emptied. Besides that- everything was amazing. A must visit spot! Thx for sharing it with us:)

Nice spot on Lake Superior. Great sandy beach to watch sunrise and enjoy the views of the bay. There are neighbors, so it not exactly secluded, but it was peaceful the majority of the time. Port-a-potty was cleaned the day we arrived so that was a huge plus. Be sure to take advantage of the new Hipcamp policy to guarantee you get a refund if it rains. Our last day was rained out and lost out on a night already paid for.

This is a great place to spend the night. We found the site perfectly adequate in its privacy and the description is accurate. The firepit was lovely and lots of $5 wood bundles for purchase on the road to the site. Our favorite parts were the sunset across the road and waking up to the lake. One note: bring lots of towels and bags for your tent, chairs, etc because everything was sandy and wet in the morning and it was hard to get it dry and clean before tossing it in the car. The port a potty was so-so (which is basically how they all are) but came in handy. Neighbors seem friendly. Lots of people around driving and biking.

This is the camp site you want if you love quiet, Scenic views, and all the nature you can handle. It is very sandy, but you are in for a great time on the water.

This camp site is basically a beachfront building lot located close to a road. It had beautiful views, to be sure, but spare amenities for camping. The portapotty was not too clean and had no hand sanitizer.
