What more do you need than a private camping site and your 125' of your own pristine Lake Superior beachfront access? Well, there is the need of a fire ring so we added that, too! Everything else you will to bring to enjoy the million dollar views. Oh, and on the opposite side of the camping site is quiet slough which is great for smooth water paddling and exploring. Down the gravel road about 1/3 miles are logging roads to hike, bike and explore. OHV trails are a couple miles away but check local maps for detailed information. Intentionally being minimalists beyond a fire ring and picnic table, there is a port-a-john (of humble means) to make your stay comfortable. You will need to bring your own firewood if you desire a campfire.There is ample room for two tents, plus parking, or an RV and a tent, or so. The beach faces east for magnificent sunrise views and the sun sets over the slough. Stunning scenery is all around! There is one neighbor to the north and another seasonal neighbor 300 feet to the south. You will not feel pinched in. The driveway is right off the dirt road that has moderate traffic of vacationers during peak summer months. RVs may be parked on the left side or front of the property. Driving RVs in the sand may cause them to get stuck which happened once. Otherwise no trailers have been mired in the sand. The local area has many vacationing amenities including blueberry picking at Panchos, on the other side of the slough. Simply check the local tourist guides for the Keweenaw for information.

Beautiful spot right on the beach
The scenery is stunning. We kayaked from the beach, swam, etc. Mostly though we used it as a base camp to explore copper harbor and lake of the clouds, mine museums, waterfalls etc which is all a bit of a drive to explore but well worth it. Outhouse was an outhouse, no complaints. The neighbors are close on the one side, unfortunately for us they had tons of people and dogs over and the dogs, although friendly, kept coming to our camp and bothering our dogs so we were glad to leave during the day to explore. Overall it is an amazing spot and would stay again if we are UP (see what I did there 😉) that way again.

Absolutely amazing spot. Love it! Will for sure be back! Well kept. Private. Beautiful location. Lots of private beach. Dogs loved it!

Amazing spot- a must visit!
What an amazing spot! This was by far our favorite camping spot of our UP trip- our kids are asking to visit it again, already! We were lucky enough to have a bit of wind, which kept the bugs at bay. You are in between a bay and the lake, so expect a bit of wind- secure everything down properly. Our only constructive feedback is the porta John needed to be emptied. Besides that- everything was amazing. A must visit spot! Thx for sharing it with us:)

Rustic Site with a Great Beach
Nice spot on Lake Superior. Great sandy beach to watch sunrise and enjoy the views of the bay. There are neighbors, so it not exactly secluded, but it was peaceful the majority of the time. Port-a-potty was cleaned the day we arrived so that was a huge plus. Be sure to take advantage of the new Hipcamp policy to guarantee you get a refund if it rains. Our last day was rained out and lost out on a night already paid for.

Beautiful!!! We were so excited for the lake view. The other side of the road was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend!
