This is a dark sky private campground on Sandy Lake. Very quiet, private dock, sandy beach, great for fishing, kayaking or just relaxing. ATV's by approval, there will be no loud ATV's, no running ATV's other then entry and exit, if there are complaints from other campers you will be asked to leave New this year is a sauna with shower, this is an electric sauna , use will be by donation. Sauna is not part of base fee, additional cost for sauna Learn more about this land: Open fields and woods with lake access. There is a private dock with swimming, great for kayaking There is a near by public fishing site, 3 miles from General store from other lakes nearby with public access as well. We look forward to hosting you! Probably our favorite hip camp stay yet! Lovely spot right by a lake. The sauna was just the cherry on top. Will definitely be staying here any time we visit the U.P.

We were the only campers and we spent quite alot of time on the road exploring the Keweenaw so we only got to spend early mornings & evenings but it was a beautiful piece of property and we had no issues with privacy. I seen some of the reviews say there were neighbors, you could hardly tell. This place was quiet at night and super peaceful. Shower and sauna were a huge bonus!

This is a lovely secluded spot by the lake. There are three sides, where one can pick what did, open, and one right by the lake with a perfect view. There's a dock, and there's not much around to distract. we enjoyed the sauna swimming and paddling in the lake, and there's a shower in the sauna to rinse off after activities. There are lots of amazing hikes and parks within 60-90 minutes
