This is all about the beach! It has a fantastic view, and the beach goes on forever. The owner is very kind and friendly!

Shoreline view was amazing. Felt like having your own private beach. While the campsite is fairly close to the road, the sound of waves lapping muffled any vehicle noise. Also since the area is fairly remote, I did not notice much traffic after dark.

We enjoyed the spot immensely. It was so windy when we arrived that we had to set up our larger tent in the gravel area where it was a bit sheltered from the wind. It calmed down the next day though and we really enjoyed the area. Neighbors are fairly close but it's a really quiet neighborhood. Beautiful location.

We loved camping on Tammy’s beautiful beach front property, the views were amazing the sunset was stunning. Hosts were super friendly and the campsite was perfect. Would highly recommend this place and I’ll surely visit again in the future!

What an incredible spot! After a long day hiking at the porkies I drove the quick 15 minute drive and made it there just in time for sunset for the most beautiful show on Lake Superior. The space was clean and well set up, and felt very secluded with my own private beach. What a convenient and beautiful location, I’ll definitely be back!

This place is a true GEM! Totally worth it!
I bought a ton of wood prepping for this beautiful spot on Lake Superior. After hiking in the Porkies, my dog and I took a chilly but refreshing swim in the lake, and then hung out on the beach the entire evening. Friendly folks walking on beach and hunting for yooperlites. My dog was able to be off leash. Too cloudy for any Northern Light potential while I was there, but the host said you can see them there on a clear sky night when Aurora is nearby. THAT would be the cherry on top of this spot.
Porta potty on site, lots of wood to forage for fire (I’d still buy some before coming for the bulk of your fire), Huge fire pit, Picnic tables and the host was super friendly. They let us be, but popped over to the fire to say hi and make sure we had everything we needed and was eager for feedback.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat, it was perfect.

We originally only booked one night for a quick get away. We loved it so much we had to stay another night. We have already booked to come back again next week. I can't express how lovely this place is. I was hesitant to even leave a review as I love this spot so much and I'm sure it will be booked up in the future.

A little slice of heaven. My favorite hipcamp spot of all time! Tammy is wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. Be sure to bring your kayaks if you have them as there is a ship wreck close by. The spot was easy to find with directions provided. There is a short walk to the beach down from parking/RV area and porta potty. There is a clearing right before beach perfect for tents. There is a picnic table on the beach as well as near the parking area. There is plenty of firewood around if you take a walk around. If you like rock hounding this is the place for you! Sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking. The dogs had a wonderful time as well, especially the fact they can be off leash. We had the most peaceful time and will defiantly be back.
