Our quiet, secluded campground is located on beautiful Stateline Lake deep within the northwoods in Presque Isle (A.K.A. Wisconsin's Last Wilderness) We offer premier full hookup RV campsites and tent campsites as well as cabin lodging and RV lodging - all right on the lake. Amenities include: - Campers and Cabins available to rent - Docks and private boat slips available to rent - Full hookups available - 30 Amp electrical with 50 Amp available on select sites - Women's and Men's Showers - Two sets of women's and men's restrooms - Boat landing access included - For non-guests, boat landing day access can be purchased separately - Wilderness - Wildlife - Fishing - Privacy - Seclusion - Peace and quiet The campground has been in operation for more than 50 years and is in the forest on a peninsula between two lakes with plenty of shade. Fish, boat, waterski, relax by the fire, and enjoy nature and the spectacular wildlife in this gorgeous natural paradise. Address: 8458 Balsam Dr, Presque Isle, WI 54557 Innumerable beautiful hiking and nature walks surround our site, including Wisconsin's treasured Van Vliet 400 acre Hemlock Preserve - one of the largest old-growth Hemlock forests in the country. We are just one hour south of the Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park. Docking is included for campers and available for non-campers at a daily rate. Our site is situated on one of the most prized lakes for muskie fishing. Enjoy sunny days swimming at the lake beach, activities and crafts for children with our camp hosts, and community campfire song night.

Nice quiet campground. Bonus was seeing and hearing the loons. The waterfront site was nice, but the brush and small trees blocked the main view. A bit of brush trimming would make a huge difference. Other than that, the site was grassy, clean and full of sun.

Right next to the water, beautiful views, bugs are as to be expected. Camp hosts were great, delivered our campfire wood right to our site while we were still setting up. My 13 yr old caught a big pike and I caught my first Muskie! Had a great stay at Presque Isle campground, def have to check out the war memorial by the legion, breathtaking.

If you are looking for a campground that is private wilderness on a lake but full amenities, this is the place to go! Lots of all sizes, full hook ups, shower on site, clean, right on the lake, some sites with your own dock, quiet, family friendly, most of the site are level, and it’s a gated access! I had site 23 which was not level, but very large with a clear view of the lake. For two woman and 2 dogs, this place was safe and friendly. Don’t forget your bug spray!

We visited over Labor Day weekend. Everyone was friendly at the campground. We were disappointed in our site as it was next to the road, but also had a small private dock. It was very busy, crowded, and sometimes hectic, but to be expected on a holiday weekend. Our campsite had broken glass, dog poop, an old teki lamp and a few other pieces of garbage strewn about. The campground was ok, just not super nice or very well maintained. The gate was broken when we were leaving and it was somewhat stressful getting out.

Tanya the camp host was awesome!. Most sites are great there are a couple that where angled the wrong way to back in. Not good pressure from showering. Lake was peaceful and pretty quiet. No garbage removal

Lovely spot in the North woods right on a lake. The camp ground is older and a bit janky here and there with the sewer, water, and electric spread out at some sites. That said the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. It's a great place to stay - I would definitely recommend staying here. Bathrooms were clean.

The campground manager was great and helpful, and we generally enjoyed the stay. However the tent sites are really close together and small, with no sense of privacy. I could hear the neighbors snoring. I would not camp there again.

We really enjoyed Presque Isle Campground. Very private and beautiful views from most sites of the lake and tree's etc. Jerry (who operates the camp is amazing) has a great personality with a funny wit! We had a battery challenge with our Class A Prevost and Jerry went the Extra mile to help us determine the issue and get the batteries replaced so our coach would start. We need more people like Jerry in our world. We will be back next time we come to N Wis to visit my folks who live in the area in the summer. Todd & Lauren Roberts July 2024
