Very awesome hosts. Campsite was local to Charlevoix and Lots of other beautiful beaches. We spent an afternoon on a nearby golf course and had and amazing dinner at Torch Lake Cafe. Would definitely stay again when visiting the area. Clean and Easy accessible plus very kind hosts.

30-Amp RV Site Close To Torch Lake!
This was our first experience with Hipcamp. Really did not know what to expect. From the descriptions and photos we gathered we would have privacy and space to ourselves. As we have generally been rustic campers this suited us just fine. Recently we became RVers, having spent our camping years tenting or in a teardrop. To dive into a RV Park or State Park scene was too big of a leap for us. This Hipcamp site fit our profile nicely. Although we were basically in a front yard, large, that is, we had privacy and plenty of space, even for our boat. All and all, the decision to stay at this site was based upon location, location. We were close to Torch Lake, accessible boat ramps , nice restaurants, farmers markets, etc. Our days and evenings were spent exploring the area and having a campsite nearby to come back to and start a campfire was ideal. The camp host was friendly and helpful. We love the area and would stay again. Linda and Harry

We were in town for just the weekend and Brian’s site worked out perfectly. Easy drive in and easy drive out with fifth wheel. If you’re looking for a place to park the RV during the day and return at night this is the perfect spot to consider reserving. 30 min to Boyne City, 15 min to Charlevoix, both great scenic routes. Friske Market close by with lots of baked goods and snacks.

Quiet Charlevoix Retreat

We had a nice time camping at this prime location. Brian and Jamie were responsive and very flexible about how we set up. Our travel trailer is on the longer side (37’) so instead of pulling around we pulled in and then backed out when it was time to go. It was nice to be able to drive into Charlevoix then escape to our quiet campsite at night.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Brian's place. Easy to get in and out with our class A. (Brian even trimmed up a few branches that brushed the top on the way in. Thank You!) The location is very convenient for Petosky, Charlevoix, Lake Michigan, and Torch Lake. Brian was very responsive and provided detailed directions. Was everything advertised and we couldn't ask for anything more. 5 stars!
