Escape to the tranquil waters of the Grand River at Weeks River Camp. This private, tent-only site offers an immersive nature experience right on the riverbank. Wake up to the sounds of the water and spend your days fishing, relaxing by the fire pit, or exploring the river with our two provided one-person kayaks (paddles and life jackets included). We also provide a selection of outdoor games for some friendly competition. Important Note on Accessibility: The campsite is situated directly on the river and requires a short walk down an incline from the parking area. Please note that this path can be uneven; as such, this site is best suited for guests who are comfortable navigating moderate terrain and do not have significant mobility or accessibility needs. Amenities Provided: • On-site parking • A private porta-john is provided for your convenience • Direct kayak launch from the campsite • Two one-person kayaks, paddles, life jackets, and a variety of outdoor games • A designated fire pit for evening fires (please check local fire regulations during your stay) • Guests are welcome to fish directly from the property with a valid Michigan fishing license Optional Add-ons: Want to travel lighter? We offer freshly prepared breakfast and dinner options for guests. These can be selected as an “Extra” during the booking process or requested prior to arrival. Weeks River Camp
Beautiful site right on the grand river, and the host was friendly and provided helpful amenities. The hill down to the site is probably steeper than you think, as said on the campsite page itself anyone who would require a mobility aid would not be able to access the site very easily. However, it shouldn't be an issue for most people who camp regularly. Overall a great experience and at a great price. I did not try any of the add-ons but they all sound like they are worth the money!
