Very welcoming, the hosts met us when we arrived to show us around. Very knowledgeable of the area. The site was nice and private with a beautiful view of the stars at night. Great spot to stay!

Lovely stay with lovely hosts! I stupidly didn’t read the check in time and got there early but they were so nice about it. Female solo traveler and felt super safe here, very flat, close to Sequoia, quiet area. Would def recommend!

A great campsite between Sequoia and Yosemite! Beautiful, rural views. There are many farms surrounding this site so make sure you’re prepared to wake up with the roosters at sunrise :), would recommend!

Hikers Paradise Near Sequoia NP
My daughter and I had a peaceful time here. We pitched our tent in a private spot and enjoyed watching the sunrise and set. Went out to hike and visit friends so this was just right with clean drinking water and a port-a- potty. The hosts were very helpful cause we came after sundown the first day so they brought flashlights to help us park. We felt very welcome.

Our stay at Starlight Ranch was incredible! The campsite had amazing views, you felt secluded and like it was a real wilderness camping experience. Would highly recommend!

I was looking for a place between the Sequoia National Park and Yosemite and this delivered. A good location, great low price, and kind host made it perfect for a last minute pick. Shout out to the rusty metal art place nearby

Very nice owners, very helpful and understanding. We came in December and car camped and it was perfect. Arrived late at night and they showed us to our spot. Porta potties are available but watch out for spiders :)

Our visit to Starlight Ranch, was a pleasant, quiet, and secluded evening. During our stay at Starlight Ranch, my husband and I set up our tent on a terraced campsite with picturesque views of the mountains and ridge-line. The simple, primitive camping plot was well-maintained with quick access to a simple toilet facility. There are multiple options for pitching a tent on this property. Depending on the weather and the season, you’ll have your pick of shaded spots, or open, exposed areas. There are also some good trees for hanging a hammock. Boulders and rock outcroppings on the property add a cozy, rustic ambiance to the site. If you’re looking for a quiet, minimalist Hipcamp in the Squaw Valley area, Starlight Ranch is a nice choice.

Nice private campsite at the Starlight Ranch located off a small road. Nice mountain views from the location, and not to far from entrance to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. I suggest you bring a EZ up for shade, and toilet tissue which is not provided in the Porta potties. Let the owner know your arrival time so he can turn on the water spigot to the campsite. I appreciate BlackandCamping for hosting me and giving me the opportunity to stay at this location operated by a POC.

Camping at The Starlight Ranch was very sweet and serene! I had made a last minute booking and N was still really accommodating. It’s a nice spot, quiet, on the edge of the hill, about 45 minutes from the kings canyon entrance. Thanks again!

Vanlife Campsite Near Sequoia NP
Did not get the chance to use my reservation. Not able to locate the site offhand, very poor direction, contact numbers listed/ provided were all wrong. Found out later the place we saw was the right site, but based from outside the place looked messy and .... not at all what we expected. Maybe the camp site itself is cool just basing it from their photos, I will never know.
