Desert Stargazing Glampsite
Yurt camping close to hot springs
Diana was a wonderful host, so kind! I’m particularly sensitive to sound at night, and the yurt I’d chosen on her property happened to be the only one close to the road. She quickly found an alternative sleeping arrangement for me, and ensured I knew about some of the local highlights as far as spas/hotsprings. She’s created such a fun oasis, with many thoughtful touches. Her design of the property also creates amble space to be in your own bubble or to share space with other Hip campers, as desired. Thanks Diana!

MountainView Bungalow Glampsite
Great property. There are three glamping tents set up, but each feels private with privacy barriers between each. Nice amenities on site including indoor plumbing/shower, two port a potties, lawn games, s’mores materials, and art materials. I would recommend bringing eye shades and earplugs as there are barking dogs and the sun comes up early.

Desert Stargazing Glampsite
We loved our stay and used it as a home base between Joshua Tree and Palm Springs. Didn’t meet Diana but we had great conversation with her husband and really enjoyed the property. We stayed in the yurt at the front which is more secluded but steps away from the shared outdoor kitchen and a few more steps to the bathroom. We barely saw the others that also stayed on the property but everyone was friendly. Our bed was comfy and the electric blanket was essential because we managed to arrive during a weird cold snap. The mountain view’s are gorgeous and a short drive to JT and PS. Glad we found this Hipcamp!

Desert Stargazing Glampsite
Dian’s property is so cute with plenty of amenities. The views are spectacular and she has provided everything you’ll need to be comfortable. due to a windstorm that blew in we did not get to enjoy a campfire and s’mores, but there is a full coffee bar with various creamers provided. There’s tea and granola bars, as well as oatmeal for the morning. The yurt we stayed in, the stargazer, was so cute and cozy. There was mini golf right outside in the yard, Koi pond, chickens, hot showers with towels and washcloths provided. I mean she really thought of everything. e would definitely stay here again next time. Hopefully there won’t be a windstorm and we can enjoy the campfire and pool.

Backyard Bohemia Desert Glampsite
Really liked it!
I really enjoyed staying in the Backyard Oasis and would recommend it to anyone looking for more of a glamping experience than an AirBnb but might appreciate the warm, comfy bed, the clean restrooms and shower, etc. FWIW, this was my first HipCamp experience and I was very happy with it!
