Please join us at our beautiful farm located on the lower Spring River just outside Hardy, AR. We have a 3+ acre river lot for dry camping or boondocking. We also have 20+ acres of adjoining land with beautiful river views. Come fish or float the beautiful Spring River with take-out or put-in from our property. Fish for small mouth bass from the banks of our property. If you don't have your own boat, kayak, or canoe there are outfitters in our area who will be happy to assist. Hunters will also love staying at our property as we neighbor the wildlife management area and many other local hunting spots. We are located close to the mouth of the Spring River at Mammoth Spring State Park. Use us a base camp to explore the Ozark National Forest, Lake Norfork, Blanchard Springs Caverns, the Mark Twain National Forest, and many other lakes, rivers, and streams. All you need are your bags! This site is located with easy access and a view overlooking the river valley (peek-a-boo river views during the summer). Enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets at this hilltop location. Expansive night skies provide year-round star gazing. Sit around a campfire and relax to the night sounds or watch the lightening bugs play. The RV has a dining table and a kitchen stocked with service for 4 Just bring your own food and enjoy the convenience. You can also cook and dine outside with the grill and picnic table provided. There is plenty of room to play and relax at this site. You also have access to the river to picnic, swim, or float the Spring River. There are many local outfitters to help you plan your float trip. If you have your own equipment, feel free to put in or take out at our river access. If you have any questions regarding this please contact us.

Nestled along the serene Lower Spring River in Arkansas, this tiny A-frame offers a comfortable and charming alternative to traditional camping. It's the perfect rustic escape for adventurers looking to immerse themselves in nature without sacrificing a bit of comfort. You'll love the easy river access right from your doorstep, making it incredibly convenient for float trips. You can put in your canoe or kayak directly from this site or take out right here after a day on the water. Beyond floating, enjoy fishing, swimming, or simply relaxing by the water. Please note: -This is a tiny A-Frame ( less than 64 sq ft). There are no beds provided. Please provide your own bedding including sleeping bags, air mattress, or cots. -There will be a portable toilet on site for your use. -There is no electric at this site. A small solar power station is rentable for an additional fee. -Railways follow the river with trains frequently passing by. This is true of any site you choose along the Spring River. The train can be very enjoyable to watch, especially at night.

We camped here for the 2024 solar eclipse for one night. The hosts were very friendly and eager to be accommodating (happy to shift the picnic table and fire ring to where ever was convenient for us, delivered rented boats to the waters edge for other campers), and provided a great eclipse themed gift basket since we were there for the eclipse. We were tent camping, and storms were forecast for the night after the eclipse, so they offered to let us camp in their barn. The camp sites are a well-maintained close-cropped grassy lawn with a few large trees and more young trees, leading down to the Spring River, with a nice view of the surrounding hills. There's a train line on the far side of the river, so we got to see trains go by several times while we were there. The train noise is noticeable but not too loud.

Michael was an amazing host with a fantastic spot. We reached out to Michael last minute to inquire about his camp spot and water access for viewing the 2024 eclipse. Michael was so prompt and easy to communicate with. He recommended a local kayak company, RiverStop, and worked with us to get the kayaks delivered and picked up. The other eclipse guests were so friendly as well. We were so appreciative of Micheal, even through the bugginess of the HipCamp app, he wanted to ensure a great customer experience. We highly recommend staying on his land. The water is calm and easy to launch from the shore. The land itself is exposed, with a few tree clusters offering a small bit of shade. It was easy to find the farm and town is about a 10 minute drive.

This campsite is absolutely perfect for a Spring River getaway. The hosts are extremely accommodating and have created a great place to relax. Our campsite was right on the water with a restroom easily accessible. The entire property was very well maintained and very clean. We would definitely recommend this campsite to anyone and will definitely be back.

We LOVED staying here. Our kids loved seeing the horses, cows and goats around the property. Nice walk/short drive to the river. We had so much fun on the kayaks. This was a perfect quiet vacation for our very busy family and just what we needed. The hosts were absolutely wonderful. RV was so clean and welcoming. We are already trying to plan a second trip.

Excellent river getaway!

River Valley View RV site

Beautiful location perched on a hill overlooking the river! We loved taking our dogs on the short walk down to the river (also drivable) to watch the sunset on the bank. The field of wildflowers and the neighbors goat pen along the way were also a treat! I wish we could have stayed longer and used the kayaks to explore. The RV was perfect inside, very comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen. The fire pit and picnic table right outside the front door was the perfect place to play some cards and look at the stars. Watching the sunrise while deer grazed about 100 ft away was a great way to end our trip! The Hosts were very helpful and friendly showing us around the property, but were respectful of our privacy the rest of the night. This is a wonderful place to get away, relax and enjoy the outdoors!
