This was truly the best camping place we’ve ever been to. The views were absolutely stunning, and the campsite itself was perfect for our tent. Robert and Susan went above and beyond to make the experience special. We even got a fun and super interesting coffee lesson (featuring some of the best coffee we’ve ever had), followed by a fresh latte handcrafted by Susan, which was absolutely delicious. Robert even sent my husband back with some of his coffee to share with the guys at the fire station, which meant so much to us. And if that wasn’t enough, they also dropped off homemade sourdough monkey bread, which was nothing short of phenomenal.
Robert and Susan are honestly some of the kindest and most thoughtful people we’ve ever met. On top of the amazing views from the campsite, the common area was perfect—especially on the rainy day we had. We were able to relax on the couch with our dogs, stay dry, and still enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
We absolutely loved our time here and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

We had the most AMAZING time at the Huckleberry’s place. They were the most kind and generous hosts we’ve ever had! There were incredible panoramic views of the mountains, swimming in the river and the best lattes we’ve ever had!

To start, the view is absolutely AMAZING. The accommodations were some of the best & most clean I’ve seen. The hosts were so sweet, kind and welcoming. From homemade blueberry muffins to welcoming us into their coffee roastery. We will be coming back again. Our stay could not have been better!

We were looking for a relaxing weekend away from the crowds, this was the perfect place. We were able to bring our ATV and enjoy the trails and view of the river. Host was very helpful with directions and the check-in process.

Even though it rained all weekend, I had a lovely time at the Hay Wagon. Dustin was nice enough to help me get all set up. The spot was lovely and quiet, and the latrine and water were super handy.

Second stay in the books! The campground was just as perfect as we remembered and we brought friends to experience it with us this time! Enjoyed the views and were spoiled with fresh roasted coffee, all the firewood we needed, and great facilities a very short distance from the tents! We will be back again!

This was one of my favorite campsites of all time! The view from the bluff just a short walk down the hill is amazing! Great for viewing stars at night, too! It’s also nice to have a good shower and toilet available! The campground was full, but there are not many sites, so being able to use the shower/bathroom wasn’t a huge conflict. Robert was an extra kind host, and he brought freshly roasted (and brewed) coffee every morning to the common area! When we requested firewood through the Hip Camp app, he had it for us at our site very quickly. We were really tired and my husband was kind of feeling sick during our stay, so we did not hike on the trail down into the valley. But, we plan to camp here again and hike the trail! We have a pretty large tent (6 person tent) and we were able to fit it on the camp pad! The fire pit and picnic table were also nice additions to our camp life. We also hung up our hammocks over by the bluff and it was an amazing reading spot with a view! We loved everything! This is a great place to get away from the noise and busyness of modern life, but it still has amazing amenities like coffee, a bathroom, AND WiFi. 😄

Had a great stay on Robert’s land. The view is absolutely amazing and he is a great host. The location is beautiful and secluded, all I could hear was the sounds of nature. The accommodations are pefect and the coffee was delicious. Thank you and I look forward to returning.

Primitive spot is perfect, flat and close to the river. Space definately gives you a secluded and private feeling. River access by primitive spot is various depths and rock bank is big. Great spot!!!

We had a wonderful, quiet stay here. Unfortunately, there is a severe drought and the creek wasn’t running but it was so quiet and peaceful that we didn’t even mind. The river is a hop skip and a jump from our camping spot so we ran down to take a look and enjoy the view. Speaking of views, it is worth taking the trails! We would definitely come back and encourage others to enjoy this property as well.

We absolutely loved camping at Harper’s Bluff. Not only was the view honestly breathtaking, the hosts are honestly the very best. They were super welcoming, beyond thoughtful, and work hard to provide a great experience for their guests. All of the amenities they have set up for guests make for the most convenient, relaxing camp experience. One of the best’s campsites I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. We will be back soon!

Loved it there. It was a last minute booking for me, because my other plan didn't work out. But I am so glad I booked this. Best HipCamp I've visited so far. The view was amazing, the coffee was fantastic, the shower was hot, and the flushing toilet was more than appreciated. Robert and Susan were wonderful hosts. They greeted us at arrival, and made us immediately feel welcomed. They guided us right to our spot, and even got us situated with firewood. My daughter and I absolutely loved our weekend together, and did not want to leave. Coming back to the city stinks. I could have just lived right there on that bluff.

We loved celebrating our anniversary in this beautiful place. At all times we felt very safe, the communication was on point, the hosts were incredibly warm, attentive and very kind to us, even the other people camping at the same time were wonderful.
Waking up and seeing a gorgeous sunrise in the middle of these beautiful mountains was a dream.
So many comfortable things provided, warm shower, very clean spaces, delicious coffee and you can add in the payment needed stuff for camping in case you’re not prepared like us hehe.
We came all the way from Houston and would come again :)

The Hill Top campsite was great! The site was close to the scenic bluff overlook and we got to watch the sun set. It wasn’t too far from the other camp sites but it still felt private because it had some trees that separated the sites. Robert and Susan were WONDERFUL hosts. They gave clear directions and greeted us with such hospitality when we arrived (and when we departed). It was nice having the shower and toilet in the community area. They also provided fresh-roasted Numu coffee in the Spartan community camper and it was fabulous! And they were so sweet to bring us muffins in the morning. We will definitely be going back and we highly recommend!
