Two Roots Ridge is a small developing mother-daughter homestead located on a quiet ridge ln Hardy, Arkansas near Cherokee Village and the Spring River, in the beautiful Ozark Mountains (Ozark Plateaus) Our property offers simple, camping for travelers looking to slow down, enjoy nature, and experience a rural setting. Guests may stay in RV, van, or tent sites tucked into our wooded ridge property. The land is still a work in progress as we continue building and improving the homestead, so visitors should expect a rustic, honest setup rather than a fully developed campground. We do offer electric and water hookups, along with a shower tent (solar water bag and shower tent) and porta-potty facilities for guest use. The property is surrounded by woods, wildlife, and the natural sounds of the Ozarks. Evenings bring starry skies, country nights, and the peaceful rhythm of rural life. We also operate a small cottage bakery on the property called Two Roots Rising, and we try to keep our farm stand filled with fresh baked goods! Our chickens also keep us stocked with farm fresh eggs, which are sometimes available from our small homestead stand when the girls are laying well. Two Roots Ridge is conveniently located near several Ozark favorites: • Spring River (10–15 minutes) – floating, kayaking, fishing, and swimming • Historic Hardy (about 12 minutes) – antique shops, cafés, and art galleries • Mammoth Spring State Park (20 minutes) – one of the largest natural springs in the U.S. • Lake Sherwood & Lake Navajo (15–20 minutes) – quiet kayaking and fishing spots • Scenic Ozark backroads and trails ideal for hiking, photography, and relaxed drives We currently host a small number of RV and van campers, with additional tent and glamping sites which will be improved upon as time allows. Guests seeking a humble place to park, rest, and enjoy the Ozarks will feel right at home at Two Roots Ridge. We do have several friendly dogs on property - some ours and some visitors. They may occasionally bark.

This primitive tent camping option at Two Roots Ridge is perfect for guests who have their own tent and camping supplies For those who enjoy simple, natural camping in a quiet Ozark setting not far from Cherokee Village, downtown historic Hardy and the Spring River! Tent campers may choose a suitable spot on the property with host guidance upon arrival. The land is wooded with natural Ozark terrain, rocks, and a seasonal wet-weather creek bed nearby. This is a walk-in tent site. Vehicles will park in a designated area, and campers will walk a short distance to their tent location. This is a rustic, primitive site with no hookups, ideal for campers who are comfortable with a natural outdoor environment. Back Camper / Van Site This site is located at the back end of our camper at Two Roots Ridge and is best suited for camper vans, small RVs, or smaller Class C rigs up to about 30–32 feet. The driveway curves near this site and the terrain slopes off slightly on one side, so smaller rigs tend to navigate the space more comfortably. Guests may need to back in to reach water and electric connections, and then pull forward to exit since there is currently no turnaround area. Water Multiple outdoor water spigots are available. Guests may connect if they bring a hose long enough to reach. Electric Electric is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. We currently offer: • One 50-amp and 1 - 30-amp connections. • Two standard 20-amp outlets Please message before arrival if you plan to use the larger hookup. Front Ridge Rv/van site

This site is located near the front of our camper at Two Roots Ridge and can accommodate RVs or campers up to approximately 32–34 feet. Guests may need to back in to access water and electric connections and then pull forward to exit the driveway, as there is currently no turnaround area. Water Multiple outdoor water spigots are available. Guests may connect if they bring a hose long enough to reach. Electric Electric is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. We currently offer: • One 50-amp and 1 - 30-amp adapter connection • Two standard 20-amp outlets Please message us before arrival if you plan to use the larger hookup. Amenities available to guests: • Porta potties on site • Outdoor shower tent Extra vehicle parking may be possible, but space is limited and may require moving vehicles depending on occupancy. This site includes a pre-set 4-person tent so you can arrive and start relaxing without the hassle of setup. Just bring your own bedding, camp gear, and sense of adventure. This is a simple, rustic campsite designed for guests who enjoy nature, quiet evenings, and unplugging from busy life. Perfect for travelers passing through, weekend campers, or anyone wanting an affordable outdoor stay in the Arkansas hills. Site includes: * Pre-set 4-person tent * Space for coolers and camp gear * Access to shared outdoor amenities * wooded ridge setting * Great stargazing and campfire atmosphere Optional add-ons may be available for additional fees, including: * Sleeping bags & bedding * Camp chairs * Grill or cooking setup * Fire pit package * Lanterns or lighting * Small camp table (Please give us plenty of notice if you need these things) Please note: This is a primitive-style camping experience. Guests provide most of their own camping supplies unless add-ons are arranged in advance. The property is actively growing and improving as we continue building our homestead and future camp spaces. Come enjoy fresh air, peaceful evenings, and simple Ozark camping at Two Roots Ridge. The tent will be set up on the property in the best spot at the time based on the weather and what is happening on the property as far as projects go. We absolutely loved our stay here! I noticed that some older reviews seemed to be from people expecting more of a resort-style experience, so I wanted to share our perspective. This is a beautiful, rustic, country camping experience—and that’s exactly what made it so special to us. The campsite is nestled in the mountains with beautiful scenery, peaceful surroundings, and several animals that added to the charm of the whole experience. The property is run by a wonderful mother-and-daughter team who made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality truly made our stay feel personal and special. There is also a bakery on-site with homemade baked goods and other items for sale, which was such a fun bonus. Everything felt genuine, peaceful, and full of character. We absolutely loved our time here and would gladly come back. If you’re looking for a rustic, peaceful country getaway surrounded by nature—not a luxury resort—this place is wonderful. We felt welcomed, enjoyed the beautiful mountain setting, and truly loved our experience!

Great location but didn't feel like host was quite ready for guests. Worked as quick overnight for 2 adults in a teardrop but probably wouldn't be okay for campers with kids or animals. Could be a great site with a little cleanup, host keeping their animals contained and a bit of leveling around water and power hookups. Host was very hospitable and helpful.
