I moved here in 2016 from Atlanta, Georgia. I actually lived in an RV in a beautiful park for several years there. And, loved it! I thought I was going to do that here, but changed my mind when I found this sweet little house on a couple of acres. Deer visit us, and bunnies make their homes here. I have cats and dogs of my own.

Turn from Hwy. 56 can be tricky for big rigs because of a ditch at Jones Street. Left hand turn is easier than right hand turn.
You can use the parking lot across the street to help you back your rig into the campsite. We have permission from the owner to do that.
There is room for your boat, too. Pets are welcome. Close to grocery, bank, gas.
The White River is famous for its trout fishing. Deer hunting in the area, too. (Not on this property.)
The hookups are on the left side (right side if you back in). You may need extensions for your power and sewer. I have them available, if you don’t have your own.

Things like poison ivy, seed ticks, chiggers, ants, spiders, snakes, wildlife...Always check with the host on the app before arrival. Arriving when it gets dark will mean you will be setting up in the dark unless you have brought lanterns. If you've booked a site, the gate will be open for you, but you will be on your own. The camp host from April 27 - July 1st is on call for guests needs, but is not on site. Checkout time is by Noon. Check in is at 2:00 pm. If you'd like to stay another night, you must reserve another night online.

I moved to my dream home and property March 1, 2020.
I refer to it as a hideaway because not only am I at the end of town, this is a dead end street so it stays quiet of traffic. Being downhill, next to the creek, I feel, is safer from tornados, as well, the echo goes uphill instead of downhill toward this property. I am learning town history from a friend that runs the historical society, here in town.

The front of my property is very flat and grassy, from the creek fence to the front side of my house. Mature trees that line my property provide nice shade in the spring and summer, however, the property is open air. The stars are spectacular. There is no light pollution. (once it is dark, you can't see your hand in front of your face)
This is a small town of about 2000 people or so. There are quite a few shops as well as a grocery store, hardware store, a couple auto stores as well as a couple dealerships. There is a drive through coffee shop as well as a couple drug stores available in town. There are 3 to 5 different repair shops around. There is a beautiful golf course, 5-8 minutes away, just around the corner. .
I live in a peaceful and extremely tranquil spot here. A good hideaway, if thats what you’re looking for. Hide away and recoup before your next big adventure. There are a few kids around that love to ride their ATVs, bikes, walk, skateboard and skate up and down Conniebrook Lane. We have bike rally's coming through town often, in the summer.
Mt. View, AR, the bluegrass music capitol of the world is about 45 minutes away. Beautiful drive, to get there. Scenic overlooks on the way.
Wheelchair Accessibility: I am sure any electric wheelchair would have no problem going over the grass area anywhere they wanted to go in the camping area. I hope if there are any issues, it would be brought to my attention and I would make it accommodating, immediately.. I am extremely handy and mechanical.

Located on a 100% off-grid homestead just minutes outside Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, this property sits on a completely private road, four-tenths of a mile off the blacktop. It is secluded, quiet, and private.
The location is seven minutes to three lakes in Horseshoe Bend and the Strawberry River. It is 20 minutes to Spring River, which flows down from Mammoth Spring and offers excellent fishing and a float/kayak river. A small hospital is 16 minutes away if needed, with a Walmart and many restaurants within the same distance.
I have three sites for tent camping. I can also accommodate a small motorhome, van, or car dwellers.
Site #3 is all set up with a tent on a covered site, two cots with sleeping pads, a fire pit, a composting toilet, and a container with water. Just bring yourself, a sleeping bag, and any personal or camping items. Site #2 has a tent platform where you bring your own gear.
For site #1, you would need to carry your gear a block and a half to reach the back corner of my property to have all the privacy you could possibly want.
I also have additional acreage where you could pick your own spot to set up. There is no overhead lighting, so nothing will block your night sky views. Because this is off-grid, there is no power.
Water is provided in a container at the site and a fire ring is provided; you may either bring wood or buy it by the bundle. The area is peaceful and quiet. Pets must be kept on a leash or contained at all times. There is plenty of room to walk for miles if desired.
The road out here is private and not county-maintained, so please drive slowly. The rooster crows as he pleases, and the goats do their own talking as well. If you want to run a generator, please turn it off by 9 PM. This is a working homestead, so there are always animal sounds and work projects going on.

I moved here in 2016 from Atlanta, Georgia. I actually lived in an RV in a beautiful park for several years there. And, loved it! I thought I was going to do that here, but changed my mind when I found this sweet little house on a couple of acres. Deer visit us, and bunnies make their homes here. I have cats and dogs of my own.

Turn from Hwy. 56 can be tricky for big rigs because of a ditch at Jones Street. Left hand turn is easier than right hand turn.
You can use the parking lot across the street to help you back your rig into the campsite. We have permission from the owner to do that.
There is room for your boat, too. Pets are welcome. Close to grocery, bank, gas.
The White River is famous for its trout fishing. Deer hunting in the area, too. (Not on this property.)
The hookups are on the left side (right side if you back in). You may need extensions for your power and sewer. I have them available, if you don’t have your own.

Things like poison ivy, seed ticks, chiggers, ants, spiders, snakes, wildlife...Always check with the host on the app before arrival. Arriving when it gets dark will mean you will be setting up in the dark unless you have brought lanterns. If you've booked a site, the gate will be open for you, but you will be on your own. The camp host from April 27 - July 1st is on call for guests needs, but is not on site. Checkout time is by Noon. Check in is at 2:00 pm. If you'd like to stay another night, you must reserve another night online.

I moved to my dream home and property March 1, 2020.
I refer to it as a hideaway because not only am I at the end of town, this is a dead end street so it stays quiet of traffic. Being downhill, next to the creek, I feel, is safer from tornados, as well, the echo goes uphill instead of downhill toward this property. I am learning town history from a friend that runs the historical society, here in town.

The front of my property is very flat and grassy, from the creek fence to the front side of my house. Mature trees that line my property provide nice shade in the spring and summer, however, the property is open air. The stars are spectacular. There is no light pollution. (once it is dark, you can't see your hand in front of your face)
This is a small town of about 2000 people or so. There are quite a few shops as well as a grocery store, hardware store, a couple auto stores as well as a couple dealerships. There is a drive through coffee shop as well as a couple drug stores available in town. There are 3 to 5 different repair shops around. There is a beautiful golf course, 5-8 minutes away, just around the corner. .
I live in a peaceful and extremely tranquil spot here. A good hideaway, if thats what you’re looking for. Hide away and recoup before your next big adventure. There are a few kids around that love to ride their ATVs, bikes, walk, skateboard and skate up and down Conniebrook Lane. We have bike rally's coming through town often, in the summer.
Mt. View, AR, the bluegrass music capitol of the world is about 45 minutes away. Beautiful drive, to get there. Scenic overlooks on the way.
Wheelchair Accessibility: I am sure any electric wheelchair would have no problem going over the grass area anywhere they wanted to go in the camping area. I hope if there are any issues, it would be brought to my attention and I would make it accommodating, immediately.. I am extremely handy and mechanical.

Located on a 100% off-grid homestead just minutes outside Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, this property sits on a completely private road, four-tenths of a mile off the blacktop. It is secluded, quiet, and private.
The location is seven minutes to three lakes in Horseshoe Bend and the Strawberry River. It is 20 minutes to Spring River, which flows down from Mammoth Spring and offers excellent fishing and a float/kayak river. A small hospital is 16 minutes away if needed, with a Walmart and many restaurants within the same distance.
I have three sites for tent camping. I can also accommodate a small motorhome, van, or car dwellers.
Site #3 is all set up with a tent on a covered site, two cots with sleeping pads, a fire pit, a composting toilet, and a container with water. Just bring yourself, a sleeping bag, and any personal or camping items. Site #2 has a tent platform where you bring your own gear.
For site #1, you would need to carry your gear a block and a half to reach the back corner of my property to have all the privacy you could possibly want.
I also have additional acreage where you could pick your own spot to set up. There is no overhead lighting, so nothing will block your night sky views. Because this is off-grid, there is no power.
Water is provided in a container at the site and a fire ring is provided; you may either bring wood or buy it by the bundle. The area is peaceful and quiet. Pets must be kept on a leash or contained at all times. There is plenty of room to walk for miles if desired.
The road out here is private and not county-maintained, so please drive slowly. The rooster crows as he pleases, and the goats do their own talking as well. If you want to run a generator, please turn it off by 9 PM. This is a working homestead, so there are always animal sounds and work projects going on.

My family and I loved our time together on Michelle’s land. Picture perfect views, kayaks, paddle boats, water toys. We never even left the pond it was so much fun. The view of the lake is beautiful, but with a private pond and dock all to our selves, we couldn’t be pulled away! There were 4 of us and 3 dogs and not any of us had a single complaint. Also it was the nicest Hipcamp restroom I have ever experienced. 10/10 recommend! We can’t wait to go back!

This was truly the best camping place we’ve ever been to. The views were absolutely stunning, and the campsite itself was perfect for our tent. Robert and Susan went above and beyond to make the experience special. We even got a fun and super interesting coffee lesson (featuring some of the best coffee we’ve ever had), followed by a fresh latte handcrafted by Susan, which was absolutely delicious. Robert even sent my husband back with some of his coffee to share with the guys at the fire station, which meant so much to us. And if that wasn’t enough, they also dropped off homemade sourdough monkey bread, which was nothing short of phenomenal.
Robert and Susan are honestly some of the kindest and most thoughtful people we’ve ever met. On top of the amazing views from the campsite, the common area was perfect—especially on the rainy day we had. We were able to relax on the couch with our dogs, stay dry, and still enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
We absolutely loved our time here and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

This was one of my favorite campsites of all time! The view from the bluff just a short walk down the hill is amazing! Great for viewing stars at night, too! It’s also nice to have a good shower and toilet available! The campground was full, but there are not many sites, so being able to use the shower/bathroom wasn’t a huge conflict. Robert was an extra kind host, and he brought freshly roasted (and brewed) coffee every morning to the common area! When we requested firewood through the Hip Camp app, he had it for us at our site very quickly. We were really tired and my husband was kind of feeling sick during our stay, so we did not hike on the trail down into the valley. But, we plan to camp here again and hike the trail! We have a pretty large tent (6 person tent) and we were able to fit it on the camp pad! The fire pit and picnic table were also nice additions to our camp life. We also hung up our hammocks over by the bluff and it was an amazing reading spot with a view! We loved everything! This is a great place to get away from the noise and busyness of modern life, but it still has amazing amenities like coffee, a bathroom, AND WiFi. 😄

We loved camping at Michelle’s land Rocky Creek Campground! The grounds were immaculate and the views were simply spectacular. From the mountains with river view, to the lake view, to the trails. Something for your eyes!!! Michelle and her husband were very nice and welcoming with us. Michelle greeted us at the entry and showed us around.
The amenities were great! We camp with a 13ft travel trailer and usually set up our own bathroom/showering tent. However we found the outhouse very charming and fell in love with the outdoor showering rooms! Very quiet and peaceful campsite. Great for star gazing. Campsites are spacious and the lake is something to behold.
We cannot wait to book again and spend more time!!!

Michelle was incredible. This is the second time I’ve been here and both have been an incredible experience. She went out of her way multiple times to make sure we had what we needed. She even took my kids to go see and pet their sheep. Highly recommended for families or even singles.

Had a great stay on Robert’s land. The view is absolutely amazing and he is a great host. The location is beautiful and secluded, all I could hear was the sounds of nature. The accommodations are pefect and the coffee was delicious. Thank you and I look forward to returning.

We absolutely loved camping at Harper’s Bluff. Not only was the view honestly breathtaking, the hosts are honestly the very best. They were super welcoming, beyond thoughtful, and work hard to provide a great experience for their guests. All of the amenities they have set up for guests make for the most convenient, relaxing camp experience. One of the best’s campsites I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. We will be back soon!
