And, loved it! I thought I was going to do that here, but changed my mind when I found this sweet little house on a couple of acres. Deer visit us, and bunnies make their homes here. I have cats and dogs of my own. I work at the Calico Rock Museum and invite you to visit us. We have a wonderful Heritage Center and a gallery/gift shop with works of art created by local artisans. Close to grocery, bank, gas. The White River is famous for its trout fishing. Deer hunting in the area, too. (Not on this property.) The hookups are on the left side (right side if you back in). We had a great time camping on Teresa's land. It has all the hookups you need and more! Very peaceful remote area, but still close enough to Van Buren that fetching any forgotten supplies is a breeze. She was also very kind, suggesting locations, offering advise, and even getting us some extra fire wood. One thing of note is to not listen to your GPS when arriving and actually read Teresa's email with detailed directions. Lol Otherwise you end up down her neighbor's driveway and look like an idiot. 😂

When we got there, she welcomed us and told us the best restaurants in the area and sites to see and answered any questions we had. She offered free firewood. Her land was right off the main highway, but had minimal traffic noise. It was just a few miles away from big Spring, a must see!

We had a wonderful, quiet stay here. Unfortunately, there is a severe drought and the creek wasn’t running but it was so quiet and peaceful that we didn’t even mind. The river is a hop skip and a jump from our camping spot so we ran down to take a look and enjoy the view. Speaking of views, it is worth taking the trails! We would definitely come back and encourage others to enjoy this property as well.

We stayed in the glamping tent, it was our first time ever staying in something like this. We typically either tent camp or stay in a cabin. It was a great location on the scenic byway. It was close to everything we wanted to see and do for a short weekend. The site was clean and the bed was super comfy. The night got cool so we were thankful for the heated bed. 2 nights at Rocky Falls Campsite

This was my first solo camp with my dog and it was the perfect spot! Loved having a spot all to myself. I wasn’t sure how much firewood I would need and Susan made sure I was taken care of. Also loved the firewood was locked away from the elements but also easy to access and having electricity out there was great! Rocky falls is two miles down the road and is beautiful of course (has restrooms also). I had the most amazing time and look forward to frequenting this site!
