Great spot. Eymos was an awesome host, responsive to questions, and present to welcome/orient us, as well as giving us ample space to relax and enjoy the site on our own. Vibes are rustic/DIY but very intentional and thoughtful. The stargazing roof was a highlight.

So put of the ordinary location for such a cool and eccentric spot. I was glad to find somewhere to land for the night after a long drive from Taos. Make sure to follow instructions Eymos provides. Unfortunately he wasn't there during my short stay, but I also enjoyed the privacy. Thanks Eymos! You have a hip camp for sure!

We enjoyed the HE>I cabin. Super clean. Wood stove and propane heater kept us nice and cozy. Directions provided were spot-on. Host was kind and helpful. Very much enjoyed the stay!

We had an incredible experience staying at HE>i with Eymos! The little cabin that he built is adorable and very comfortable. It has everything you need plus lots of thoughtful added touches. Eymos was an unbelievably kind and generous host, going above and beyond to make our stay a memorable experience! 10/10 would recommend!

This was a great spot right off the highway outside of Holbrook. I needed an easy spot for a quick stay and this was perfect.
It was great to meet Eymos during my stay. He was extremely friendly and has great plans for his piece of land.
I would definitely stay here again.

beautiful sunset, sunrise, fresh air and a horny toad. Eymos’ directions to the site were good (total distance on dirt road is 2.2 mi.) Still it was a little hard to locate because both Hipcamp signs were down in the dirt. We found them by getting out and walking the last 100 yds. I wouldn’t want to try to find it in the dark.
The site is not super level, but by staying near the dirt road we were able to level our 29ft trailer easily enougn.
We would overnight here again :)

Great access from the I-40 and very close to the town of Winslow. you can't beat the convenience or the privacy. Be sure to follow Eymos's directions and not Google Maps!

Star Gazing Cabin #2
This site was a parking spot in a field, which was accurately depicted in the description. Follow the directions written out by Eymos, NOT Google/Apple maps. We arrived after dark, and the map apps weren't the most accurate. It was close to highway 40, so we could hear traffic. Overall, though, the spot was just right for what we needed.

The lot of land is located close to interstate but it still is pretty quiet. You can definitely hear trucks throughout the night though. We did have a few people stop by to make sure we were okay since we were camping out of our SUV so people thought he has car issues. They were all so kind and friendly. I know Eymos put up a sign marking the location after we stayed there so hopefully it is easier to find! Eymos was very friendly and helpful with making sure we were in the right spot. Overall it was a super great price and we did it last minute but it worked for us. It is literally just a lot of land so definitely keep that in mind and there were a good amount of animal droppings on the land so keep in mind if camping.

Elymos was very responsive when we asked to clarify the directions. This is, as the description states, just a field with a sign.
The key to getting to the site is not making the right on Quartzite Road when you get off the highway, take the exit to the end to Pima before turning right, otherwise you will end up on the wrong side of the fence.
I would highly recommend 4 wheel drive and high clearance for the roads leading to the field, especially if it has rained recently.
