Lovely Stay
Rescued animals, incredible skies both day and night, long views of the land, this desert land with its redbrown mountains arising abruptly out of the scrub and dust, perfect little stopover from anywhere to any there. Friendly, very unimposing hosts, though we share a close- range space with them and the rescued animals; I had a delightful stay, open air fire, with a full moon above, and distantly the Palo Verde plant, stars somehow wrinkling through all that... what's not to love? Thank you, Sarah! I hope to travel this way again soon. Kathy

Cool staycation with Helpful hosts
My family enjoyed our short stay on Sarah’s property. The campsite was just what we needed. We rented both the Glamping site and the tent site to accommodate my husband and I, our 3 teen boys and daughter. Sarah and Ricky were super helpful and showed us around, lent us several flashlights, a lighter and provided charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill. They had the fire ring ready with wood for us. All the amenities were as described plus breakfast in the morning. We appreciated them allowing us to use their dirt bike. There animals were fun. My kids enjoyed the trampoline too. It was a nice quite stay and kept our teens and 20+ children entertained. Wi-Fi worked as well. The sun beats down during the day but the night was cool with lots of stars in view. Nice place to get away for a staycation.

Sarah was an absolute delight and her scones in the morning were delicious! This was a place to park off to the side of the house, but I did not feel as if I were intruding or intruded upon. The toilet facilities were welcome. Note: DO NOT use the Hipcamp "find on the map" tool! I was taken FAR down a rough maintenance road and left high and dry. On N. Wintersburg Rd, when you find the main entrance to Palo Verde, opposite find the dirt road ACROSS Wintersburg and take that! Then follow Sarah's directions from there to easily locate the site. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did.

Thanks Sarah for opening up your home! The decor is great and I enjoyed the hammock out back before calling it a night. The signs in the bathroom were pretty funny too!

Glamping with Moonlight.o.t.m
Loved staying at this campsite. We ended up staying at the yurt that Sarah had onsite. It was the perfect little getaway even had A/C in the tent and a cute bathroom area that was set up. She also had a few horses on site. There are tons of off road driving trails around the area that were awesome if ur into that. Definitely recommend this place if ur looking for a relaxing night of glamping.
