Husband and I had an amazing time at this home! Loved the outside area and all of the natural light inside from the skylights! The host has thought through so many details that it was such a pleasant, whimsical stay. I definitely want to make this spot a yearly getaway for a thinking weekend!

House on the Edge of time is the most unique and amazing Hipcamp and I cannot recommend enough! From incredible views, indoor/outdoor concept design, a plunge pool, hot tub and great proximity to Jerome, the Verde River and Sedona - this place creates an unforgettable stay. You will feel the peace and relaxation of being in nature with the luxuries of a cozy bed, record player, kitchen access, air conditioning, plenty of shade, etc. Jessie is an amazing host and takes great care to ensure that you have a wonderful stay and visit to the area. We found the people in Jerome very kind and met many local artists/residents who even knew the late architect who designed and built The House on the Edge of Time, Paul Nonnast.

This spot is magical, simply put. Feels like an architectural hobbit’s dream. Each room wraps into the next through cut out window doors, and the thoughtful design Jessie has put into making this space feel cozy is evident. Then to finish out the night relaxing in the hot tub, gazing at the stars was extraordinary. I would highly recommend this spot and will certainly be visiting again!

What a wonderful hidden gem! Way more comfortable and clean than I expected. We loved the views and quiet privacy by the pool. Every item inside was carefully thought out and well placed to create an overall feeling of zen- loved it!

This was one of my favorite stays so far. Jessie was incredibly accommodating and responsive. There were so many thoughtful touches.. hot tub towels, firewood for the stove, matches and starter, snacks, a bottle of wine. The space itself is absolutely beautiful and unique. I will be back! Jerome is such a funky spot, and there are some great hikes nearby (thanks for the recommendations, Jessie :))

What an amazing place! All the intricate touches were wonderful. We were very excited to see a record player. Hanging outdoors and soaking in the views, going to bed seeing the stars through the skylight... so much was magical.

You'll never find another place as unique as here - don't pass it up! This was the cutest most whimsical house, beautiful mountain view, and nice amenities. Jessie is a very reachable and helpful host. If you're looking for a comfortable stay that's something unlike anyplace you've stayed before (in all the best ways) this is it.

We needed an escape from reality for 24 hours, and Jessie's property delivered. A short drive from Phoenix, even after a stop at Trader Joe's for snacks. We drove right through busy Jerome (on a Sunday) and loved the little house in the rocks. Our request for privacy was respected, and we were able to find everything we needed easily. Jessie is extremely thoughtful in leaving a few snacks, coffee, a bottle of wine, and even makings for spaghetti if we had needed them. There were plenty of blankets, we were able to have a fire in the fire pit, and the heaters throughout the property were perfect in keeping us cozy. There were soooo many things to look at inside....we are already looking forward to another trip up for my birthday in the summer. Oh...and the hottub was perfect!

What a magical home! Set in the hills of this beautiful mountain town, this space was so unique and beautiful. The hot tube was a perfect way to end a long days of hiking - star gazing and enjoying each detail of this awesome space!

Words cannot describe the eclectic eccentricity of this amazing place. The photos, honestly, do it no justice. It's about a million times cooler than you think. You are doing yourself a disservice by not staying here.

This house is absolutely phenomenal. The location is just the right amount of seclusion after being around so many people in Sedona. Its a nice 35 minute drive from the center of town. There are so many thoughtful touches throughout the house and outdoor space. Soaking in the hot tub whilst staring at the stars was a highlight of our stay.
In terms of convenience, everything you need is there for you and easy to find/access. The place was sparkling clean and the bed was comfortable. If you are looking for a unique experience off the touristic path near Sedona, and you have a chance to book this house... Book it!

If you’re looking for a unique experience, this is the spot for you. The home itself is to navigate if you’re on the taller side. There are odd corners, odd elevation changes, and the doorways are small (as described in the listing). Where there was an issue, the host was able to take care of it.
Pros: abundant fig and apple tree within the property’s green space. Nice view. Unique. Nice host.

From the moment you walk through the gate you feel like a big kid. Little magic touches here and there — kaleidoscopes, bees buzzing, little hidden nooks filled with books and candles. We had everything we needed as well. Jessie provides most of the kitchen essentials, bedding, etc. A truly quiet, relaxing getaway with the best view. It’s just down the road from a sleepy little town called Jerome - filled with perhaps the nicest folks ever, and a little over a half hour from Sedona. Cottonwood is in between and worth checking out as well.

This place was AWESOME! My wife and I celebrated one of our anniversary nights here and we couldn't have been more happy with the stay. We really enjoyed the hot tub for stargazing at night & coffee in the morning. The host was extremely friendly and informed us about a "locals" hike that truly made our trip one-of-a-kind! Can't wait to stay again :)

Wow, what an amazing, unique place to stay for a night! This little house has a great story behind its Arcosanti-style architecture and Jessie has done an amazing job making it comfortable for guests to enjoy. It's hard to fully capture the experience of staying here in pictures, so I'll try to explain in words: you walk onto the patio and you're looking out over the mountains at 5,000 ft in Jerome, an old copper mining town and now a historic ghost town; when you step inside the house, you're in a beautiful stone entryway/living room where the sink and shower are located at the back; you walk through a tiny hobbit-sized doorway and you're in the studio that has a comfy bed and a wood fired stove; then you walk through another tiny doorway into the kitchen, where Jessie has provided cookware and coffee. The bathroom is outside, about 10 ft from the entryway. This place was so unique and fun to stay in and we loved walking through the old town of Jerome. Jessie also had great recommendations for places to eat in town - The Mine Café for breakfast and Grapes for dinner were excellent! This place is truly one of a kind and I would recommend it to anyone traveling through the area!
