Primitive Camping Magical Forest, Florida
The old road used to connect Putnam and Clay counties. After disputes about upkeep, they ended up selling it off as private land. It was partially cleared around 40 years ago, and virgin forest ever since.

Right across from a small lake, Lake Carlton. Our neighbor can provide you with hose and lake access. If desired, bring your small canoe, kayak, or dingy. You will need to text us for lake access details.
There’s lots of lakes in the area, and lots to explore on the land itself. If you love walks in the woods in solitude, you'll love spending time grounding here. Tons of lichen and fungi, birds, butterflies, and other rare critters. A morpho butterfly was spotted on this land!
