This overall experience was quite interesting. Upon arrival, the main light in the tent did not work . As instructed from staff, I searched the unlocked neighboring tents for another light and was not successful. We then proceeded to attempt to take showers after a very hot day just to find out there was no propane left to power the hot water heater for them . Further into the stay, we realized that there weren’t as many amenities included in the stay as advertised such as a mini fridge accessible outdoor activities such as kayaking and swimming. I will say however, being able to take a tour of the sausage castle was quite exciting and intriguing. I believe the campsite has lots of potential and would love to possibly come back if certain things were improved!

They had a party the weekend I was there... alone... yet they didn't invite me. Ok, my/tveir loss. That being said, showers are fine just dont leave and expect to get back in right away. The gate'boy' isn't always awake.

We got there late at night and he was very accommodating to me and my fiancé. The tent was so nice and the bed was super comfortable! Definitely will be back again. We loved our stay!

The location was good and the facilities were also good. Kurt was very helpful. Our only concern was the AC was not working in our tent and it was very hot at night.

We had an absolutely fabulous time so relaxful and peaceful but fun at the same time. We ended up staying in the yurt which I highly recommend.

Camp location is different than address given on website...like 6 miles different. Unclear why and what's going on. Must sign a major waiver form abd they don't allow anyone under 18....so there must be history. I felt totally mislead

Stayed for a week. Didn’t realize ahead of time it was on the property of an adult club but it didn’t end up affecting my stay - campground is secluded and quiet. Finding the access gate was a bit difficult at first but host was helpful and responsive. Would definitely come back!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We loved that no children were allowed and that we had the option to bring our dogs. The property was beautiful and we spent a lot of time fishing. It was a relaxing and fun experience. The tents were set up beautifully and the photo opportunities out there are endless. Would recommend to our friends.

I was here as a birthday getaway with my dog, and this time of year would not be acceptable with the heat As there was no shade on the tents and even with the AC unit, it was unbearable for at least 5 to 7 hours of the day. This property is associated with mikebusey.com. Something to keep in mind for your stay. There are not any developed trails within walking distance of the property. Most of the property is not well kept. Kurt was accommodating to the best of his abilities.

The location is remote. Quiet and not exactly what I expected, but good for a few days if your passing thru. The host however was nowhere to be seen for the first few days. Had problems getting in the gate. Yes, there is a gate. The campground is located at the Sausage Castle, home to a long time porn producer. I stayed 12 days and was only to contact the host maybe 5 of them. Mike and Shelly, fellow campers were charged with cleaning camp sites, opening the gate, removing trash, etc.... they were amazing, but it wasn't their job to be awesome. If you're passing thru the middle of nowhere, it's worth a stop, but it's definitely not a destination. Unless you're a member and get access to parties. When they happen. If ever...

Yes, it looks really nice on the website. Looks like it's family oriented with animals & games. Once I took my family there the front gates has skulls on it. It was 100° out. They advertised that the tents that they have were air-conditioned portable units inside we're blowing hot air, makeshift showers and a outlet for a porta John for a bathroom this place is a joke visitors beware .
I will repeat. This is no place for a family . reviews are artificial fake. This place is down at Country Road miles away from anything down a dead end dirt road totally unsafe.

Where do I start. I booked a tent for me and my grandson for his birthday present because he has always wanted to go camping. I booked it online and I booked it as one adult and one child. I then after the fact, downloaded the app, but my trip wasn’t showing up on the app. so I repeatedly messaged the host and he would not respond to me appropriately. Then I got the confirmation on my trip a couple of days before the trip was supposed to happen then the night before and I mean late in the evening I got a message from the host Saying that they do not accept children so he could not have us come for the trip. So number one I have to give you a weeks notice I repeatedly tried to get clarification from you weeks before with no response yet you can give me a few hours number two I had to break the bad news to my grandson, who was very excited about the trip that we could not go at the last minute . He was very upset thankfully I was able to come up with something to try and replace it. I will never, and I will tell everybody I know to never book with this place because they do not respect your time and your money and I had better get my refund and I feel I deserve more than that and compensation .

Did not end up staying the night. I felt so grossed out by all the fleas and bugs that kept crawling into cabin. I couldn’t fall asleep knowing that the cabin wasn’t even the slightest bit bug proof. I’m not saying I don’t recommend you book - If you don’t mind the idea of sleeping in a little shack that isn’t the most cleanly or glamorous on the inside, then by all means give it a go. I definitely learned very quickly that I’m more of an airstream kinda guy lol

Dirty portajohn. Cleaned camp “toilet” just to have neighbor piss all over the seat. Wished i had the privacy to just pee on the ground like everyone else. Woke up freezing at 3am because heat no longer worked. Recieved a message back after 7am from the manager who was off site. No apology included. Just that there was a user manual in the dresser drawer and i should apparently have needed to dump the water like i should somehow know this and understand it was my responsibility. I had to warm up in my vehicle and decided to just leave because showering and dressing or going back to sleep would not have been comfortable at that point. This is a neat place to see, but a run down campsite to stay at. Tent floors and bedding appear clean but the rest of the site seems very run down and not cared for. Shelly was phenomenal at showing me where to go and the things i could do at the site, but it just wasnt the comfortable stay i had expected.

Loved the Yurt and the land is awesome. Bed was comfy, was a cool night so we didn’t need to A/C. Our friends stayed in the one Nextdoor. The a/c had broke down and Kurt went to the store even tho it was very late and replaced it in a timely manner. Was an interesting place I had wanted to check out for awhile now. Sounds from outside were nice. The pond has animals that make low noise that can put you to sleep 😴 Only thing I would change, but I believe I heard it was in planning stage, is the bath house needs some work. It was pretty chilly for me to take a shower with wind and not inclosed enough. A small refrigerator would be nice as well. I would and will stay again. Can’t wait to see the upgrades :) Thanks 😊

We had such an amazing time and were so suprised when we got here. From the beginning everyone was so friendly to help in any way and we were able to explore A LOT! It’s so beautiful and we met some really cool people like melissa, kurt, and amy&john aka “the electrons”!!! They are all so creative and constantly looking for ways to improve. This is a hidden gem for sure and there’s no way it’s gonna stay that way. We will be bringing a group of our friends in the next month or 2 for the best weekend ever!!!

First let me say we had a very quiet and restful 3 nite stay here @ bell tent 1. We were thankful they allowed us to bring our pups and we came prepared for camping. The host Kurt was very nice and checked in daily to see if we needed anything. The tents are just like the photos on their site, but here are my comments on what can be done for a better glamping experience(for us anyway) . The porta potties were disgusting when we arrived. We told Kurt and he cleaned them up but the tanks were still full and it was just plain unpleasant. There is no hand washing station. Cleaning out the shwr stalls of all the left over products people have left behind. A spicket that points down not sideways would be great. The trash cans were full and smelled. So more frequent dumping. The hogs have dug up the ground beneath the picnic tables making the ground very uneven. A little raking would go a long way. On a hot day the A/C cannot get the tent cooled off so just be prepared for that just as the small heater can’t warm it up when it’s cold. Site 1 bring an umbrella for shade. there are ant hills everywhere. Beware . With nothing to do here, we think it’s a good place to come and just unplug. This is an honest review not to scare anyone away but to give you a heads up so you’ll know better what to expect and who knows maybe when you book some of these easy fixes will have been taken care of making your stay that much more pleasant.

Lots of activities to keep you busy. And not terribly far from any theme parks if you want to do that. Nice quiet friendly resort. Booking again for a future trip

Decent place for the price. Maintenance is lack luster. Bathrooms were full of dirt, spider webs and tp on the floor. Showers were hot, but had algae on the floor. Garbage cans don't have trash bags and don't get hosed out, so you catch the occasional bad smell. Almost none of the amenities advertised are available to use. I came for the shooting range and twice he said he'd get back to me on when I could use it and never did, if i had known i would have gone elsewhere. It's a decent place, but Maintenance is not the best. One neighbor of mine said they had to wait at the gate an hour to be let in. It is really pretty though. It wouldn't take much for this place to be a lot better

So thankful to have found this campground! My husband and I had a nice getaway planned and last minute (literally hours before it was time to hit the road) our airbnb had to cancel due to personal reasons of their own. We reached out to Kurt who kindly not only let us book last minute knowing that we weren’t going to arrive till the middle of the night… but stayed up to check in with us and be there to let us in. I wish we had more time to explore this cute little campground but we had to leave pretty early. We will be back to stay when we have another kid free weekend and 10/10 recommend to anyone. Thank you for existing 🌻💕

Tent 3 has fire ants all around it. But Kurt was super amazing.He came and sprayed and cleaned the front walkway. The inside was great as expected. The place looks a little neglected was excited about fishing and getting in the Water, the ponds are greatly neglected which makes even fishing kind of difficult. You're definitely not getting in that water. It definitely needs some upkeep as far as the landscaping part of it, do something with the ponds Maybe put a dock on the pond in the back very sketchy grassy mess it back like snakes could be in it. The entire place Looks like it used to be really amazing and it just has gone Downhill. They have a lot of different things around there. They have a dirt track that looks like nobody's used in quite a while. A shooting range. Apparently a wrestling ring I didn't see. I think the craziest part of this whole place, though.Is the fact that it's connected to this place called the Sausage Castle lol Apparently the guy is a online personality. I have no idea who he is, but apparently other people know who he is, but the castle is well It looks like a #### boy's paradise. When you first get to the place. You don't think you're at the right place You're hoping you're not at the right place lol it's got a ICP meets playboy mansion creep feeling. The tents are Where it is at, just never mind what you have to drive through to get there.It's super peaceful super nice And about 7 miles away.There are lakes that you can fish and kayak in.
