Highly recommend
Sandy has an amazing property! Her and her husband have really thought of every detail. Flush toilets, a shower, sink for washing dishes, kayaks and communal space, this place offers it all! She is a very gracious and happy host!

Jedi Masters
My family and I absolutely enjoyed staying at hip camp. We camped at the Jedi masters area and had a gorgeous view day and night! We were able to enjoy fishing, kayaking, camp fires and endless fish feedings! The butterflies had a special touch which you will enjoy. A must stay! We couldn’t have asked for better hosts!

Can’t recommend enough!
Super friendly and helpful host! There’s a working, very clean bathroom, shower, and sink. There are many different sites to choose from, and they come with either a fire pit, a grill, or both! They also raise monarch butterflies on the property so be careful where you park and enjoy! The beach is about a 15 minute drive and there are plenty of restaurants and stuff a short drive away.

Heron, ducks and water fountain graced our tent site. It was a comfortable, safe place to camp. Sandy was exceptionally friendly and provided extra care. Such a great, eclectic and unique spot - we will talk about it for ages to come. A little extra noise with the trains but earplugs do the trick. Loved our stay!

Sandy and her family were amazing hosts. So warm and welcoming! We had a great time and their spot is beautiful. We extended our stay by a day because we were having such a great time. Would definitely recommend!!!

A true hidden gem
My family and I had an absolutely wonderful time camping here. The amenities were shared and kept very clean. The extras, including kayaking and catch and release fishing, were unexpected perks. Sandy and her husband are absolute treasures. Sandy allowed my kids to release some newly hatched butterflies. This place is truly magical. If you are a light sleeper I would encourage your to bring some ear plugs as there are some tracks nearby. I think the train only passed twice the night we stayed so it wasn’t bad at all. We can’t wait to come visit again!

Quiet Lake Property with Excellent
Sandy is such a welcoming and warm host. Very easy to find location with directions given. Lots of land to setup your campsite. Proper bathroom setup with an outdoor shower and sink setup. A deck overlooks the Lil Spud lake in the middle of the property. Kayaks are available for use on the property. If you're a fan of surfing, world class surfing is a short drive away. If you're a fan of butterflies, the host has a butterfly sanctuary on the property so lots of butterflies roam the property. Excellent spot for someone who wants some quiet nature or closeby beach time

Excellent place to camp. You can have a fire pit. It has a flush tolit and hot shower it is primitive. Nice large spots for your tent over looking pond. People are really nice. Nothing bad to say

Camping with Sandy
My family & I loved tent camping at Sandy's place! She was so welcoming when we arrived. Her & her family's hospitality was appreciated! We loved seeing all of the monarch butterflies she raises herself. The outdoor shower & bathroom were clean & decently private. She also offers a VIP bathroom inside which is nice for mommas & babies! The pool was a nice addition for the kids as well. We went kayaking on the pond daily. We will be returning!

What a great place ! Camping with a laid back aura where you could enjoy natures beauty. You are welcomed from the moment you arrive til the end of your stay. Fishing swimming & relaxing by the fire pit are just a few of the amenities . Looking forward to going back !

I loved camping on Sandy place. Everything was great. The house is beautiful, the garden is gorgeous. I learn a lot about the monarchs.
The site for tent was beautiful with a lot of space. J’ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à discuter avec le mari, la famille et les amis de Sandy.

A beautiful park like setting with a small lake and deck overlooking. Sandy took us on a tour of her butterfly farm and explained it to my granddaughter. We saw all phases from caterpillar to chrysalis to Monarchs.

Gorgeous camping getaway!!!
Wow! This was a property that was so much more beautiful than the photos! Sandy was an exceptional host going above and beyond to make our stay extremely comfy. I really appreciated this especially after we booked a last minute trip and arrived after dark but it felt so comfortable.
The sunset views are incredible and you can do a ton of bird watching right here from your camp spot!! A jungle paradise with huge camp spots with a lot of privacy, swimming pool and giant deck with hammocks and chairs you can enjoy.
The hosts had a birthday gathering here too and we were so warmly invited to join. I really hope that we can be back one day to enjoy this gorgeous property again.
If I could give a 100 stars I would!!!

Convenient oasis with a great host!
Beautiful and interesting property very close to spectacular New Myrna beaches. Sandy greeted us as we arrived and showed us the bathroom and shower. There’s everything you need to have a comfortable stay. We enjoyed spotting the monarch butterflies among the milkweed. Sandy was the ultimate host and great fun to talk to and learn about butterflies
