Gulf Islands National Seashore
Dazzling white sand that looks like snow and feels like sugar (and you may have it all to yourself!)
Secluded Gulf Coast beaches and sand so white it looks like snow. Head to the end of a pier or out on the water to go fishing. If underwater fun is your thing, grab your snorkel or scuba gear for amazing exploration.
From Perdido Key, you can kayak to visit some of the 400 acres of bayou along this seashore administered by the National Park Service. (Keep an eye open for armadillos!)
A trip back in time is on deck for you at historic sites like Fort Pickens. Don't be surprised if you find you have the beach and dunes almost to yourself. You may come home with pristine seashells and sand dollars.
