Cute newly built one room cottage located in the heart of Mid City South near I-10/12 split. Tiny house has a separate bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. It is stylishly furnished with WIFI and TV that swings to outside covered patio area.
The main room has a living space with a full sized (double) Serta pull out bed. There is also a kitchen space w/ a sink, microwave, toaster, fridge with freezer and an induction dual cooktop. Home is nestled in a peaceful garden with a deck and grilling area behind our home with a shared backyard space that includes a hot tub and covered area patio as well.
The cabin and main house are located in great neighborhood -walking distance to shops, restaurants and a public park with tennis and beach volleyball courts.

We are situated on the Mississippi River just 4 miles south of New Orleans, 7 miles of the French Quarter and 9 miles to the Jazz Fest, City Park and 10 miles to the Lake Front. There are bike lanes and routes to many points of interest, along with bus, taxi and uber/lyft
We are also 22 miles from Delacroix Island and Hopedale where there are several charter services for those interested in a great fishing/hunting experience.
Our property is quite, safe and rustic. We have a firepit and grills. There is running water, but no electricity or bathroom at present time.
This property is great for tent camping or sprinter vans. We also are open to hosting BBQs/Seafood Boils, Live music, for small gatherings at additional charge.
Good pets welcome. No aggressive animals allowed.
Check in is 8am to 7pm. Quiet time is 10pm to 7am.

Park is along the bayou and is a great fishing area for salt and fresh water as well as crabbing.20 RV gravel parking pads with grassy area on side, total size of each 30 foot wide by 60-80 feet long. Park has bbq pits for use, picnic area, tire swings, fire pit seating area by the water, gazebo, and kayak rentals.

I stayed here because it was an affordable place to stay for Mardi Gras, but I definitely plan to come back when I have more time to hang out and volunteer at the farm! It is a very quiet and peaceful space, and a really cool project based on taking care of the community :)

Unique spot in the city. Felt very safe. Kat was available from the moment we clicked. Easy enough access for my class A size van We were able to stay parked and got the day pass for the RVA public transport and moved around with bus and trolleys. Get the APP. Definitely keeping this spot on my radar for New Orleans

Great view and allows you to truly camp, many animals talking in the woods and great fishing. Campsites are quiet but noisy in surrounding areas surprisingly.

We had a pleasant 3 day stay with easy access to downtown New Orleans. The RV park was exactly how it was represented online, a big parking area with good connection to new hook ups. The place was very secure and we felt safe. Very quiet and we enjoyed the intermittent sounds of nearby trains. Management was very friendly, met us on our arrival and very helpful with set up.
Be aware to be sure you call right before you arrive so security gate can be opened - otherwise you’re RV will stick out into busy street. Thanks BJ!

A safe place to stay the night! This was a no frills RV park (no bathroom, simple grassy lot) but the gated entrance and well lit area was comforting. Brijesh was super friendly and welcoming! There was a bit of noise from the nearby train, but also super fun to watch it go by. Overall I would recommend! Great value.

I loved tent camping here! The setup was just as described, and the amenities were unique and perfect. The location was ideal for spending New Year's in NOLA. The ferry was quick and only $2 one way, so I could explore the city and escape to some serenity to sleep. I highly recommend this spot.

Stayed here with my motorhome for a few days around New Year’s. Gated grounds with cameras made it feel safe even though the surrounding neighborhood seems a bit rough.
The park was clean, some nice from trains at night, and appeared well maintained. Easy access for RVs.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, just what you need after a long day of driving.
There is a bus stop nearby, which makes it fairly easy to get to the French Quarter and downtown without having to drive yourself. Overall, it is a reasonably priced and practical place to stay with a motorhome if you want secure parking and decent standards a short distance outside the city center.

I enjoyed my stay at Kat’s place. Great location! Downtown, the French Quarter and other cool places to explore are only a 15 minute bike ride away and Kat also had some great food recommendations (Katie’s!). Cool host, good location, would recommend!

I loved my stay at Kat’s little oasis in such a prime location, she went above and beyond during my stay. I am grateful for the time we got to chat, I found her easy to talk to, appreciated her knowledge on the area, local insight and community mindset.
Being at the 8 month mark of living in a camper, I can’t describe how incredible it was to have access to all the amenities!
Not to mention, she has a dog- what more could you ask for?
This was a mildly difficult space to get into as a truck and camper, granted- it was dark and I was by myself- but absolutely doable, and worth it.
