Ocean Shores is known as a small charming coastal community with an abundance of recreational and cultural activities. It is also surrounded by miles of sandy beaches on the Pacific Ocean as well as Grays Harbor. Its 23 miles of inter-connected canals and lakes charm you with their breathtaking views. Surrounded by trees and vegetation you will have all the privacy you seek as you are the only campers here. This is a very large space to share with those of your choosing. There are no "lights out" or "quiet times" for you to worry about. Large open space for camping with friends and family to gather and enjoy each others company.  Dogs are able to be leash free and enjoy the space as well. Only a ten min private walk to the ocean through the dunes to enjoy beautiful sandy beaches, kite flying, picnics on the beach, day camping, amazing sunsets and so much more. Rubber boots (maybe some waders, depending on the winter) are recommended for the hike to the beach during the winter months (November-May) as you will have a small trek through seasonal wet lands. You may also access the beach/ocean by vehicle just a few minutes away in town.  You will be located between the Quinault Casino and the City of Ocean Shores where you can enjoy all the wonderful activities there is to offer.  If kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding is what you are seeking, many are unaware of the 23 miles of scenic canals in the City of Ocean Shores.  You may also fish for bass, rainbow trout, yellow perch and bluegill sunfish in these waterways.   I hear there are a couple little Islands to explore as well.  What a hidden treasure! There are three launch sites available we can give if needed.  And if you left something at home, sitting there thinking he was going to grab it (haha) no worries, you more than likely can grab it in town. The Ace hardware is amazing!  There is an Arcade, golf, miniature golf, go carts, water go carts, bowling, horseback rentals (seasonal) for the beach, electric bike rentals, scooter rentals and so many more activities for you to enjoy.  A wonderful place where memories are made.

Eight years ago I bought this property, cleaned it up and changed an old local 1930s grocery store into my pottery studio. I continue to try to be a good steward to this little piece of land with very big trees. One side faces my studio with drive through access to a bunkhouse and hookups and the other is tent camping with room to explore. With a dog yard available you will be able to relax and enjoy. Learn more about this land: Part meadow part stand of very tall trees, over 70 years old with birds, hummingbirds, deer. Choose to camp there or in a wheelchair excessable drive next to a 1940 era grocery store that is now my pottery studio. A large bunkhouse is also on site in case of rain, if not rented. Large RVs will park in the front of the property. Tent camping is in the meadow with water and fire circle. /p>

Our property is located near Rainbow Falls State Park on the Chehalis River. Enjoy the beautiful forest setting, overlooking the river. This riverfront property has calm summer waters perfect for paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming with deep swimming holes. There are also small pools for little ones to enjoy. A creek runs through the property as well. The Rainbow Falls State Park hiking trails are located across the highway in walking distance of the property. You can also park at the falls near the property and cross the highway there and the trails are directly across. The Willapa Hills Trail is a short drive away or for experienced bicyclist, you may choose to ride right down the highway 1.3 miles to Chandler Road where the trail can be accessed. The property remains beautiful throughout the year as the waters change. If you are late fall/winter/early spring campers, swimming is not advised, and children and pets should be watched closely. The property includes running water (please bring your own for drinking) and power at the camp site and a sani-can restroom. Pets are welcome but you must clean up after them to keep the property free from messes. There is a quaint country store located just 2.5 miles away in the small town of Doty that is well stocked with much of what you might need once you've arrived for you stay. The owners of this property are not always onsite but will be responsive to guest needs when contacted. Please respect the neighbors.

Our beachin camp is located on the Longbeach, Washington Peninsula. It's a dry camp, for now. It's less than a half mile to the ocean. We have four sites available. Each site has a cute cinder block firepit. Its perfect for RV's or tent sites. As you turn onto the property you will be met with a gate. To identify the correct property you will see two small brick pillars at the entrance. Please be sure the keep the gate closed when not in use. Upon entering the gate, our campsites are located along the LEFT-hand side and are distinguishable by the 4 built-in block firepits. (Please note: the campsites along the right-hand side that are nearest to the cell tower are not operated by us.) Pack out what you pack in. All trash must be removed at check out. Jack's Country Store offers garbage drop off for a small fee. There is a small park with a restroom located a couple blocks away that is usually open for public use. Rent one spot with the potential of having someone else there at the same time, or rent both spots to have the entire space to yourself. Cranberry Moon is located in the desirable area between Twin Harbors State Park and Grayland Beach State Park. There is drive-on Beach access nearby if you don't feel like walking. There are great local restaurants to try, sights to see and adventures to be had. We offer level back-in sites that can accommodate any length of trailer or motorhome. Each site is gravel with your own sand space instead of grass. Each space comes with its own picnic table. We do not offer fire rings. You are welcome to bring your own propane fire gear. A shared space has a small climbing structure for kids and plenty of sand to play. When the wind is low, you can hear the ocean from your site, and it is about a 10 minute walk down a well-maintained public access path to get to the beach. If you visit during spring, there may be times when the beach access trail is swampy, and you have to go around the block to get around it. There are many nearby places to access the beach within a short drive. We are located on state Route 105, so there is some traffic with road noise. Both spots sit back away from the road a good distance. There is a privacy fence along the road with gates. Had the place to ourselves and the dogs absolutely loved the beach, even took our electric bikes out there to run them to exhaustion. I’m sure we will be back because we love the area for our seafood feast and the local businesses are great.

Stayed 2 nights in spot #3. It is right off the road but the road has only occasional cars so it was quiet. The spots are close together, but it was very not a problem. The flush bathrooms and shower, although old, are kept clean and heated. Overall a nice place to stay and Ron and Jackie were friendly and pleasant to chat with. We would stay again.

Great property for a nature walk. Seasonal plants. Harrier Falcon, Eagles, Turkey Vultures, Barn Owls, White Owls, Grouse just to name a few of the birds around. An occassional rabbit or 2. Learn more about this land: Grassy tent site next to Ida M's Blueberry Row. Mainly a quiet piece of property surrounded by nature. Hummingbirds and butterflies. Fire pit, picnic table, solar lights, clean drinking water, and trash bin. Short walk to Port a Potty. 9 miles from Pacific Beach and Seabrook. We do live on the property, located on the other side of the blueberry rows, across the driveway with our 3 labrador retrievers and chickens. There is also a swing set, jungle gym, and a horse shoe pit. You will be seeing my husband and I come and go while staying here, also other family and friends that visit. So if you are looking for a completely private place, staying here would not meet your expectations.

Awesome location near everything in Quinault. Received a fun, short tour of the property from our hosts who are incredibly nice. The campsite was tidy and exactly what we imagined. Plenty of room between us and our neighbors, and we barely knew that they were there. The outhouse is basic but clean and charming. Imagine the friendliness of staying at a distant cousin's organic farm, with the facilities of a top-notch campsite. Only regret was that we were crashing there quickly, and weren't able to stay longer and relax on-site. Also gas and groceries are close as well. Boat launch is about 1/2 a block easy access. There is talk about sites at the river, we have some in their premature stage. This is NOT offered through our Hip Camp site!!!!! However, we do upon arrival let people stay right on the water on a case-by-case deal and NOT on busy holiday weekends. There are reasons for this: When we initially opened, we allowed people to camp there through Hip Camp and I was getting low stars ratings because Entitled people thought for $28 bucks, they got the whole river to themselves and would fight with other campers, than they would cry because the bathroom was too far. IT JUST GOT TO EXHAUSTING. So now I do it judging by the vibe the camper gives me when they arrive and how full we our. Next year I’m going to try to set up some premium sites on the river and work super hard at getting amenities that will match that price. But for now, Enjoy Camp Hope and the river ACCESS too!! We appreciate the wonderful feedback everyone gives it helps us grow with you!!

Its area spans fifty acres of elevated terrain surrounded by a forest creek (where crawdads can be found). The camping area is on about five acres of the property and is populated by alders and evergreens, making it a wonderful place to connect with nature. It's a beautiful area sure to soothe the soul. A short but captivating nature trail is open to campers who are interested in a walk up the gentle hill. We do have a worm composting toilet and water available for washing. A new hot shower will be available. A couple of more sites are in the plans. Nearby is the quaint town of Montesano. Lake Sylvia is there for those looking to discover one of our lovely state parks. Closer by, there is a river with boat launch that runs down and through Montesano for people who want to swim, fish, float, or boat. Montesano's central location in Grays Harbor allows it to serve as a wonderful base of operations for those looking to explore more of the coast, and northwestern peninsula. The way up to Rainbow Ridge is a short winding driveway of somewhat steep grade, delivery trucks have no problems, so if you have a small camper or less, you should be fine.

Merriman Creek is nestled under a canopy of old growth Maple Trees next to our Nightly Rental, The River's Edge, on the South Shore of Lake Quinault. At the request of our nightly rental customers, we have added secluded dry camping sites for our guests and for those wanting to enjoy the Lake Quinault area. Due to USFS Campground closures and high demand, we are happy to provide a place for campers to spend a night or two as they enjoy Lake Quinault. The Hipcamp location is approx 100 yards away from our Rental House and it is secluded and provided. Preferably this is a walk-in tent site Hipcamp, but if the weather is dry, you may drive in with your car or camper van. Please be mindful of other campers as this is an open field nestled under old growth Maple Trees. Quiet Hours and respectful camping etiquette should be followed. We have a communal fire pit in the middle of the 3 acre parcel, 7 sites in total and a clean and new Porta-Potty toilet. There is no water on site so please bring your own water. You may also bring your own portable propane fire pit should you wish not to use the communal fire pit. We hope this description helps! Site 1 is best suited for a camper van. Everyone must pass by this site to get to the other sites. SIte 1 is also closest to the Porta Potty. Site 5 and 6 are in the very back of the property and might be best if you are camping with another family. Site 7 is closest to the fire pit. One tent per space please. You are welcome to message the Host for any questions, we are very accommodating and can also help you plan your trip and advise on things to do. We also have a brand new cabin 1/2 mile up the Valley from our Merriman Creek Hipcamp that also can be rented through the Hipcamp Platform.
