Would recommend to anyone. Beautiful views, close to a lake to jump in, and Don and his wife were so kind and easy to talk too.

We arrived to a very well maintained property, with a nice access road for all types of cars, trailers, and motor homes. Most of the camp sites are open to each other, and spaced about 50-70 feet apart (they didn't feel crowded though.) The spigot for well water is near the first camp site, and there are a couple of impressively clean port-a-potties spread out. There was a little firewood at most of the camp sites, and there is more available for purchase (honor system). All of that is just the property though. The real gems here though are Don and his wife! They walked through, visited briefly with each group, and made everyone feel welcome, as well as gave glow sticks to each kid for 4th of July night. On one of the mornings they made sure all the kids had an opportunity to pet their goats, after everyone had some time playing on the big swing under a shade tree. They had great recommendations for local parks and attractions too. I would say they are model hosts, and they are regularly working on adding amenities to further improve their great site.

Amazing site
Beautiful views. Birds singing all morning. Great amenities. Amazing hosts! Would recommend if you're ever wanting to do beach days and need a nice campsite nearby.

Beautiful space along a great bird watching area. The spots are spacious and Don is a great host. Perfect spot to set up camp and be close to lots of things to explore.

The stay at bird watch was absolutely wonderful. My family of 5 and 3 dogs stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. The hosts checked in on us and gave us some sight seeing suggestions. They brought around glowsticks and little favors for the kids to enjoy. They made every effort to make our stay comfortable. The kids loved the goats and watching the birds. The teenagers were happy there was a charging station. Mom and dad enjoyed the peace. I would 10/10 come back. I can not say enough how wonderful the hosts are. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Great stay and shade on a hot day
Don and his wife were really friendly and helpful. They even left us starter wood to get our fire started. Super responsive for questions. We had a great time.k
