You’ll also be sharing the space with our friendly resident herd of five horses and four goats! They roam safely inside the fenced areas and love wandering over to greet guests.

You can park right inside our securely locked pasture, so your rig is safe and close by. If the classic Washington rain decides to show up and soften the ground, don't worry—we’ll easily coordinate alternative parking on solid ground so you stay mud-free.

*please read carefully* There is a 3/4 mile walk down a gravel service road from the parking lot, with an average grade of 8%. Pack accordingly, you’ll be walking in! Or plan to bike or paddle in for closer access.
Camping is open May through October.
Please pack-in and pack-out. Fire is prohibited. Amenities include use of the picnic shelter, port-a-potty bathrooms, picnic tables near the campsites and a kayak/paddleboard storage rack off of the beach trail. There is no water available so please pack in enough water for your stay. To protect the park, please abide by the camping rules.

Our campsites are located in parks with limited access for fire fighters. Fires will be and are reported. The risk isn’t worth it!

This campground is located within Maury Island Marine Park, on the east side of Maury Island, a peninsula of Vashon Island. One of the largest undeveloped properties located directly on Puget Sound with more than 1 mile of shoreline, the park provides stunning views of the East Passage, Mount Rainier and the Cascade Mountains. The site had significance for early Native Americans and is referenced in a legend about Snake People who arrived from the mainland as part of war party.
The park contains rare stands of Pacific Madrone, a salt marsh, eelgrass beds and significant fish and wildlife habitat for such species as great blue herons, bald eagles, kingfishers, chinook salmon, orca, and bull trout.
Trail length within the park: 3 miles (plus .75 mile gravel maintenance road to the shoreline accessible to non-motorized vehicles only).

PET OWNERS PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Please declare any pets on the “Who’s Coming” page. We have noticed an influx of owners that do not let us know and show up with dogs as we need to go over additional information. There is no additional fee but since we have livestock roaming freely around the property, to ensure their safety, long leads are highly encouraged especially if dogs do not have exceptional training and recall. Thank you!
AMENITIES/THINGS TO DO:
-There is a communal bunkhouse on property available to guests with a flushable toilet and a hot water shower. It also includes a kitchenette and we welcome you to use any of the kitchen/cookware and appliances. Our 2 Frenchies also stay in this building but they love humans and all the attention you can give them!
-There is an infrared sauna that can sit up to 3 people located next to the yurt accompanied by a cold plunge as an add-on.
-You are welcome to wander around the entire property and grab fruit daily from the trees when in season or have us get you farm fresh eggs from the coop to eat for breakfast.
-Say hello to the animals (sheep, goats, chickens, cats and dogs) or go for a walk/run around the countryside roads with walking/running/biking adventures available to you along the beautiful and paved Foothills Trail extending from Enumclaw to Puyallup.
-Communal fire pit areas with picnic table and chairs available when fire ban is not in effect. We have a moveable metal one which we can transport to your camp spot if preferred. We sell a large milkcrate full of wood for $10 if needed.

You'll find the rest and relaxation you need on our beautiful 53 acre property, your away from home while you explore the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. A mixture of farmland, forest and wetlands, complete with a beautiful old barn (turned music venue and bar), you'll be free to wander the grounds, relax on one of our Adirondack chairs, or pop in for a beer when our bar is open. Often on the weekends, we have live music in the barn. Espresso drinks and breakfast Sammies await you on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings. Because we often have live music on the weekends, we encourage you to check out our events calendar on our website. During our events, music can be heard across the property and is generally over by 10 or 10:30 PM.
We offer dispersed tent camping in the shade of a mature alder grove, dry camping sites for small campers, trailers, and vans, as well as one site with electricity and water. Amenities include an outdoor kitchen, porta potties, hand washing stations, showers, and potable water.

We are just steps away from the Olympic Discovery Trail (ODT) which traverses approximately 130 miles of lowlands, bordered on the south by the Olympic Mountain Range and on the north by the Strait of Juan de Fuca ending on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. The trail is a wide, paved pathway designed to multi user standards for bicyclists, hikers, and disabled users.

Open year-round, the campground provides an affordable and comfortable base for families, pet owners, and outdoor enthusiasts looking to explore Port Townsend and the breathtaking Olympic Peninsula.
Recent updates to the campground layout have created more spacious and comfortable site arrangements, with expanded areas and improved spacing between select sites—enhancing both privacy and convenience for guests.
Please note that cell service in the area is limited, so we recommend checking availability and reserving your site in advance. Even if a site appears vacant upon arrival, it may already be reserved for another guest.

I have really enjoyed staying here! The hosts are a really wonderful family who work really hard to keep everything running at the site. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and their diligence to keep it so is above and beyond. They seem to be available much more than their hours suggest. They are regularly dealing with camper issues during off hours. Very kind and thoughtful people. Jefferson county fairgrounds really lucked out! And consequently so did I! Thank you Zoe and Robert!

Absolutely beautiful property spread across over four acres, with swings, private forest trails, a gorgeous garden, and a cozy, secluded campfire area! My boyfriend and I booked the Potting Shed at the very last minute, but we were still welcomed with the most amazing hospitality. The campfire was already started for us when we arrived, and they had everything we needed to make s’mores! In the morning, we were treated to freshly baked blackberry muffins, fig jam, and fig leaf tea (all grown from their garden!) and received tons of great recommendations for exploring the town. Every little detail made our stay feel so special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. We would absolutely love to come back!

Wonderful, private RV spot. Old growth forest that we explored just a bit before we had to leave. Responsive host, even brought us a fire ring after we checked in for us to have a fire. Cute cabins and an orchard as well as we heard a few goat noises. Will be back when we can explore more!

Washington's biggest city offers urban fun within striking distance of serious nature. Despite its urban vibes at the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass, Seattle is chock-full of wooded parks, including the 534-acre Discovery Park on the eastern banks of Puget Sound.
Island County
Named for its many islands, this county on Puget Sound encompasses nine islands in total, including sprawling Whidbey Island—at the northernmost stretch of the sound—and Camano Island. Both islands are tourist hotspots, with tons of state parks and campgrounds, many of them right on the water. Whidbey in particular is known for its thriving arts scene.
The Kitsap Peninsula and Bainbridge Island
Across Puget Sound from Seattle, the Kitsap Peninsula and Bainbridge Island offer a variety of outdoor activities, with plenty of parks, hiking trails, marinas, and campgrounds. This region is also great for lovers of the arts and history, with museums and galleries dedicated to Native cultures, naval history, and the arts.
The Olympic Peninsula
On the opposite side of Puget Sound from the Seattle metro area, the Olympic Peninsula features some of the region's best opportunities for hiking and water sports. Here you'll find lakes, ocean beaches, forests, and numerous state parks, with an abundance of forested campgrounds. Olympic National Park and its emeraldine temperate rainforests are also set on the peninsula.
