My 30 acre farm has two campsites, (they are not close to each other) both allow pets and campfires (outside of burn bans).
One campsite is a beach on the North Fork Stilly, it is shaded most of the time, the sun lovers can paddle with their kayak or wade across to sunbath on an island across the river. tent campers can locate their car or truck on dike and move their supplies on to camping area.. trucks with campers can set up right on dike over looking the stilly. Rigs can set up in the field by the dike!!
the outhouse is back for the season!!!
The second campsite is on 4 acres you will have to yourself by a creek;
the Whitehorse trail for biking or walking is only a mile away;
Enjoy the view of Whitehorse and three fingers mountain.
Lake Cavanaugh is nearby, and regional activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking, , paddling, wind sports, and off-roading.

The North Fork of the Stilly has pretty restrictive guidelines on fishing. Fly fishing only on this section of the North Fork. Fishing season is usually a pretty short window depending on the fish count. There are many places to swim and enjoy floating the river. We encourage you to check the river conditions on the Snohomish County website as the height of the river varies greatly throughout the year.
One of my favorite times on the property is in the fall when the salmon start to run. It’s very important we do not disturb the salmon during this time. We can still enjoy the water, we take extra precautions. It’s beautiful and fascinating. Thousands of fish are swimming up the river and spawning right next to the beach.
We have several deer walk-through the property daily. Usually stopping at the apple trees or the pear trees to grab a snack.
The main house is up above the camping area where I live. There is a gazebo near the river you can utilize that has power and local WiFi. And usually a couple hammocks hanging in it.

Camp in a private grove of trees overlooking acres of pastures with grazing sheep, miniature cattle, ponies, and horses. Depending upon the time of year, there may be lambs, newborn calves or puppies. From December to June a creek burbles by. Birdwatchers have sighted at least 23 different varieties of birds. During holidays you can see multiple community fireworks displays!
Blackberries are ripe from the middle of July through September. You are welcome to pick as many as you like during your visit.
The campsite has a gazebo with furniture and fire table. Please let us know if you might like to use the fire table in the evening, and we will refill its propane tank. There is also a fire ring. Current burn ban rules will be posted.
Acres of grass to wander through, and a Portapotty for your convenience. There is running water, but it is piped from the creek via solar-powered pump, and is not potable.
During the winter we pull the pump. Water is available from the busy creek just feet away.

Our campground cabins are about 4.9 miles from the 'Granite Falls Fish Ladder'. Visit this beauty at Mountain Loop Highway if you fancy a little hike.
Drive around 7 miles to the 'Lime Kiln Trailhead. The trail is full of amazing views and history.
Our place is only about 45 minutes from Seattle. Why not pack your tent and sleeping bags then drive here after work, then leave in the morning.

We really enjoyed our time on Marvin's property! He was so kind, generous and helpful, and the site was very well kept and serene. He had chairs, tables, firepits and a grill available for use which was so nice as we had left a few of those things behind. The site itself was large and private and sits right on the river with a covered porch for those rainy PNW days. It was really lovely. We hope to be back again soon. Thanks for the hospitality, Marv!

This was such a beautiful, peaceful and well thought out hipcamp. An amazingly level spot for a trailer, wonderful and kind hosts, a flushable toilet was a super nice extra along with ambiance lighting leading to and by the river. Our dogs were allowed to run free, and they were welcome. Marvin and Diane sent us home with garden fresh cucumbers and a lovely personal thank you card. This truly was a one of a kind hip camp that is our favorite.

This place is so awesome I felt like I was kicked out of Oz and landed in an even more magical place. There is so much land to explore that we managed to completely lose track of time, only to be saved by discovering a goldmine of wild blackberries. Naturally, I put them into pancakes, because nothing says "peak survival skills" like foraging for breakfast fruit. Having actual power and water hookups for the RV felt like an absolute cheat code in the middle of nature. It was total, uninterrupted relaxation, We will absolutely be back!

Such a charming campground! We booked very last minute at the Dragonfly Yurt and were not disappointed. Everything was ready to go, Mimi immediately contacted us with all the info we needed and quickly responded to any questions I had. The yurt and property were very clean and well stocked with most things you’d need. The property itself is well maintained with a nice variety of things to do; my son loved watching the frogs jump into the lake and to try his hand at fishing! It’s quiet and peaceful and we slept great in the comfortable beds. We will be back for sure!

Super easy check-in and check-out. Absolutely gorgeous views of the lake and mountains and there was plenty of space in this campsite. The deck had a broom to use for the leaves, which was helpful. Nice and private. It was our family's first time camping (my mom, my son and I) without experienced campers with us. My anxious dog even came along and it was the perfect place for her. Definitely would recommend and would love to make this a regular destination for future trips. Thank you!
