My 30 acre farm has two campsites, (they are not close to each other) both allow pets and campfires (outside of burn bans).
One campsite is a beach on the North Fork Stilly, it is shaded most of the time, the sun lovers can paddle with their kayak or wade across to sunbath on an island across the river. tent campers can locate their car or truck on dike and move their supplies on to camping area.. trucks with campers can set up right on dike over looking the stilly. Rigs can set up in the field by the dike!!
the outhouse is back for the season!!!
The second campsite is on 4 acres you will have to yourself by a creek;
the Whitehorse trail for biking or walking is only a mile away;
Enjoy the view of Whitehorse and three fingers mountain.

Camp in a private grove of trees overlooking acres of pastures with grazing sheep, miniature cattle, ponies, and horses. Depending upon the time of year, there may be lambs, newborn calves or puppies. From December to June a creek burbles by. Birdwatchers have sighted at least 23 different varieties of birds. During holidays you can see multiple community fireworks displays!
Blackberries are ripe from the middle of July through September. You are welcome to pick as many as you like during your visit.
The campsite has a gazebo with furniture and fire table. Please let us know if you might like to use the fire table in the evening, and we will refill its propane tank. There is also a fire ring. Current burn ban rules will be posted.
Acres of grass to wander through, and a Portapotty for your convenience. There is running water, but it is piped from the creek via solar-powered pump, and is not potable.
During the winter we pull the pump. Water is available from the busy creek just feet away.

Drive around 7 miles to the 'Lime Kiln Trailhead. The trail is full of amazing views and history.
Our place is only about 45 minutes from Seattle. Why not pack your tent and sleeping bags then drive here after work, then leave in the morning.

Welcome to our peaceful property with beautiful views in every direction! Surrounded by blueberry fields, we purchased this property to enjoy camping with our three kids, extended family, and friends away from crowded campgrounds . Offering the use of it to others through Hipcamp is a fun way to share with others when not in use by us. We hope others will find the same joy we do.
Property access is directly off the road with any vehicle. We have had large motor homes on the property without any trouble. Traffic is minimal with mostly other people off to enjoy their recreational land. The nearest neighbors are about 500' away across the blueberry fields. You may occasionally hear our neighbors enjoying their property as well but the noises sound distant and haven't been a problem for us. Because we allow dispersed camping there may be other people on the property with you. Please select our group camping option If you are interested in having the entire property for yourselves or for an event such as a family reunion or large friend group camping trip.
The property is about one mile from the cascade bicycle trail which will take you to Sedro-Woolley in eleven miles or East to Birdsview Brewery in seven miles. If you explore even further East you'll find Act One Ice Cream Parlor adjacent to The Concrete Theater in Concrete. Check their website for hours and showings. A new local spot, Lyman Tavern, might also be a fun place to grab a bite to eat. Kids are allowed during certain hours.
Cozy up next to a campfire at our fire pit constructed last season. It is located in the center of the property. Posts with solar lights are also around the fire pit. The lights are operated by remote so lights can be turned off to star gaze. You are welcome to burn any wood already down.
Outdoor opportunities (hiking, biking, rafting) are in abundance from about any direction. To the East you'll find the North Cascade National Park, Baker Lake within the Mt. Baker National Forest, and Ross Lake National Recreation Area. Bicyclists will enjoy the close proximity to the Cascade Trail. Places to explore further from camp could be Deception Pass, Padilla Bay or the quaint towns of LaConner and Anacortes.
We do not live on site but could potentially be there upon your arrival setting up any "extras" you've requested or finishing property maintenance. We do have friends nearby who alert us to anything that doesn't look right.
***As this is a working agricultural area we want to be transparent that farm activities such a spraying and harvesting of the blueberries may occur along property boundaries. More than likely this will not happen during your stay but be prepared to head to town for ice cream or to the Birdsview Brewery while things settle down around camp. Please let us know if you have any questions. This has not been a problem for us yet personally.

Camping at Dave's Tree Farm was a very unique experience for us and we enjoyed it so much. First, you will get to enter into a big, secure property, riding through the whole area until finally reaching the cabin. The spot is amazing, situated very close to the mountain face - a beautiful view. Everything you need for camping is there. And we enjoyed sighting a big deer too. We recommend it.

I would recommend this spot 10/10 times, DeAnn is very nice and communicative, showed us around her property and the trails she cleared herself. The amenities are amazing; has a pop up shower, an outhouse, well water faucets and ONE OF THE BEST VIEWS you can get over looking the valley at the big tent campsite, and she also has a very cute dog that walks the property!

Loved Popcorn Pond. We stayed here in a tent instead of an RV. It was incredible to watch the sunrise and sunset over the pond. All the birds, tons of berries back in the cove. Felt very private and safe, it’s the least secluded of all the sites and we saw not one person on a Friday night. The property is much larger than expected. Sleeping with the sounds of birds, frogs, insects by the water was divine. Book here!

Maureen, (or Ranger Reenie as she goes by on the land) is a lovely soul with a beautiful vision for her land. It is an incredibly spacious property with ample sunshine or shade available in its many nooks and crannies amongst the cedar and birch and alder.
If you're looking for solitude and a good reset, this is definitely the space - I saw only one other human all day and I roamed around a good bit. Super quiet from the man-made side, and ample melodies fill the air from the barn swallows and finches that dart about.
I feel rejuvenated and grateful to have shared in this space for a few nights!

We spent our fourth of July long weekend at Rhonda's creekside and couldn't have been happier! The dog loved playing in the creek and having huge grassy area for ball playing. Just a small warning for those with skittish animals: it is near a gun range (safely far away). My kitty did great, he got used to the bangs and pops in an afternoon, but just wanted to put it out there so others know.

This was a beautiful property with a lovely owner. This woman is patient and kind. I was greeted with a kind smile. Given freshly picked berries at my camp site. She helped load/unload both our vehicles. She was quick to respond to any needs and even walked us all the way to the creek when we couldn't find it. And what a sight to see! The reward is waterfalls at the creek. She provided a portable shower and was quite efficient. No cold showers were had here! We had our first batch on firewood on the house, our water jugs were full ready to use, there was a cooking rack for kettles or cooking with pans. She also has a little outhouse right behind the large tent we stayed in with a little hand washing area with toilet paper and wipes provided. This was a humbling trip for me and my kids haha. (8 and 11) My dog waffles though, was in her element herding all her family members up and down the hills. I will definitely return. The host was too lovely not too! If you are a first time camper and are weary Miss DeAnn is the host to have! She helped make our trip.
