We have a fold out couch for which we provide linens, pillows, and a comforter. There is also an inflatable mattress that is a tight squeeze, but can allow for four people to sleep (with a little furniture rearranging). There is a deck that is large enough for a two person tent that would also make a four person camp-out comfortable. All linens and towels are stored in the trunk and the bathroom cabinet. There is a 4' round dining room table with four chairs and a small table on the porch with two more chairs. All the cushions for the chairs are in a cabinet under the table inside. ACCESSIBILITY: Unfortunately, the cabin is not wheelchair accessible. There are 5 stairs up to the deck and the bathroom door is only 27" wide. SURROUNDING AREA: There are small trails leading away from the cabin; do not walk down them! They lead to neighboring properties and I cannot guarantee that there won't be neighbors who would be very surprised by a stranger showing up on their land! Walker, Rocky Brook Falls. - Set out on the Lilliwaup State Park Tidelands at low tide to harvest your own clams. - Eagle Creek at high tide is a perfect launch point for kayaking and paddle boarding (parking on the side of the 101) This is a winding, chip-sealed, mountain hillside - not ideal for longer length rigs. Most of the hillside is 6% grade, and the last few hundred yards up are at a 10%+ grade. Sites #1 and #2 are best suited for RVs (max 30' length) and include 50 amp hookups, (bring your own converter if you have a 30amp vehicle) potable water, and full sewer hookups. Site #3 is our tent camping site as it includes a step-down grassy flat terrace that can accommodate up to 4 tents comfortably, with 2 car max parking. Site 3 includes 30 amp + (2) 20 amp electric and potable water hookups. All sites have access to the onsite unisex restroom and access to the communal yard game play area.

Our private Campground is centrally located on the Olympic Peninsula. We are a Campground, we are not a Hip Camp, we just advertise through them. Paying for extra days or rentals, wood, propane fire-pits, are done at pay station at Campground or by calling the office. We have 21 tent sites on the West side of Pavel Road close to the river. 13 are river view sites. Just a 20-minute drive to the Pacific Ocean and a 20-minute drive to the straits of Juan de Fuca. Just a one-hour drive from our site to Cape Flattery, short hike down to a rocky viewpoint overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Tatoosh Island, which is the farthest NW Point in the Continental US! We have sites with beautiful river views, 9 walk-in sites, and 12 drive-up sites. 4 of the walk-in sites are river views 4, 5, 6 and 8. The drive-in sites with river views are 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 20, and 21. There are more sites on the other part of the Campground. The Fish Hatchery is right next door and has a boat launch, beach, and lots of fishing. The river at the Hatchery is great to float on, fish, and just play. Activities nearby include: Pacific Ocean beaches, Pleasant Lake, Crescent Lake, Beaver Lake, Snyder Lookout for stargazing, Olympic Discovery Trail, kayak floating, the area is great for hiking, biking, mushroom and fossil hunting, wildlife viewing, ATV trails, and much, much more, come have some fun.

Weekend Trip to Echoes Of The Sea

This is an RV/tent campsite. It’s not vineyards or private but it’s well stocked and maintained. We were long overdue for a shower and the bathrooms were super clean and appreciated. The women’s even offers a hair dryer. You can hook up to power for your RV and they have hoses and sinks for cleaning up. No potable water that we could find though. It’s located just behind a motel and is a very close drive to the beach. With nice ocean sounds. Echoes of the sea is an appropriate name. Would recommend as a great reset spot or for someone who wants to spend their day at the beach.

Our stay here checked all the boxes. Perfect location for an Olympic rainforest adventure. Host was very responsive and accommodating. The river sites are worth the extra money, the view is awesome. Sani Can was super clean. The sites are close together so not too much privacy if it’s peak season, but we were there in December and had the place to ourselves. Would recommend!

Karlee is very kind, attentive, and is a great communicator. There are permanent residents there, but it’s still neat and quiet. The spot was level and was extremely easy to back into. The location is great; as it’s walking distance to the quaint main street in Forks. We were able to conveniently book just a couple hours before our arrival time and received a timely confirmation from Karlee shortly thereafter. We are looking forward to staying here again on our trip back!

Weekend Trip to Elfendahl Forest

This is such a special place! The Wanderbus was cozy and quirky and perfect. More than warm enough and Louis the Third is an immaculate toilet. I took advantage of the hot tub both nights and it’s such a great perk. Definitely try the tangerine essential oil stay with it! I came to take pictures and get some quiet reading time and it didn’t disappoint. I would recommend it so highly (as long as you don’t book when I want to come back!)

Wandering Woodlands is a cute, cozy campground! We booked for a last minute getaway - easy to book and host was responsive to my questions. While this campground is best suited for car camping, we were able to maneuver a dually pickup with an 11 foot slide-in camper into the site. A great spot to base camp for exploration of Forks/La Push and the many beaches close by. Thoughtful touches by the host include a group bonfire/picnic area, a few games and a short trail.

Site #2 sits directly adjacent to Site #1 and their border is delineated by the cedar fence on the left. Site #3, on the right of Site #2 is not open for reservations.

Weekend Trip to Hood Canal Oyster Farm | Lilliwaup

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Jim's Hood Canal Oyster Farm. We originally booked site #2 but Jim contacted us prior to our arrival and invited us to stay at site #1 which became available. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. All three sites are very well kept, peaceful, and private. The hookups worked perfectly, and our 21' class C RV had no issues with the short steep climb to the site. Site #1 is the largest and we loved the herb garden and table. I did notice that site #3 is more private and would have fit our RV with no issues. We hope to be back soon. We can't thank Jim enough for the absolutely delicious oysters from his farm.

We loved the twilight dome!! such a cute way to camp. We saw chickens and deer in the evening and took a walk by the cows in the morning. Camping was really quiet. We played games in the evening in the dome. This time of year is cold in pnw so bring extra layers!! The host is so sweet!! Thank you!
