Welcome to Camp Clearwater! Nestled in a peaceful natural setting minutes from the Olympic National Forest. This campground is roughly 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean beaches, including Kalaloch and Ruby Beach, and sits adjacent to the Hoh Rainforest. Nestled between a quiet country road and the Clearwater River in a forested stretch of the Olympic Peninsula, Salmon Run is a small family-owned campground offering a peaceful, back-to-nature experience. Located between the Quinault and Hoh rainforests just 3.6 miles north of Highway 101 and about 10 miles from Kalaloch Beach, this peaceful spot is a tranquil alternative to the busy coastal campgrounds.
Sites include a fire ring, a flat spot for your tent, and a picnic table (except Camp 4). Campers have access to the river and gravel bar via a short trail through the floodplain forest at the north edge of the campground. There’s no potable water onsite, so bring drinking water or your filter for river water. Directly across the street from the campsites, guests have access to a clean Sanican, a gravel parking area, and free WiFi in front of the main shop. Dogs are welcome, as long as they stay leashed and are never left unattended. Bundles of firewood are available for purchase.
New this year, we are offering movie nights on the 4th Saturdays of the month, May - Sept. If you are at the campground on one of these evenings, we invite you to join us for a family-friendly movie & popcorn inside the shop by the parking area.

A quick 5 min walk to the public access bridge to cross Conner's Creek, this is a private campsite for your next beach retreat. Located in Copalis Beach WA, you are close to Griffith Priday state park and natural area and a general store right down the road for all your needs while you're away from home. Pacific Beach and Ocean Shores are just 15 min away but you will feel like you are in a much more secluded setting. Use this as a basecamp to explore some of the rain forests up north or use it as a premier clamming destination. The site has a gravel driveway that is aprox 75' long and 14-16' wide. In the winter all vehicles and RV's must stay on the designated driveway. In the summer the grass in the front and sandy beach soil around the firepit can be used for other activities. This is a beach paradise and listening to the surf as you go to sleep is always a wonderful experience. There is no toilet on site. This campsite was amazing! We saw the elk in the field pretty much the whole time and the atmosphere was just quiet and peaceful. Little traffic other than the occasional logging truck. The campsites were just private enough to still be great for a group to share space, or others to keep to themselves. The portapotties were immaculate with lots of supplies. The RV spots were totally level gravel pads and the tent sites had raised gravel pads as well. All the sites are well shaded. There was a grassy area and a fun tetherball the kids had a blast with and the trails Eric and Talley suggested were great - as was the small park across from them. Overall 10/10! We’ll def be back! There is a small marsh behind the property, so a citronella candle or bug spray is recommended, but there were not that many bugs at all considering. Limited cell reception, but full reception at intersection with 101.

Clearwater Hipcamp is special. Description and directions are spot on. I enjoyed the quiet evenings, being greeted to the day by an owl in camp, the distant call of coyote and evidence of bear neighbors passing by. Watching the elk across the way while enjoying morning coffee was a treat. Short walk to the confluence of creek and river was lovely. Loved how close it was to the beaches. Eric and Talley are wonderful communicators and excellent hosts. I will definitely be back to this amazing spot!

Stayed in site #2, Friday and Saturday night and had a great time. The land was well-maintained and the campsite itself felt really private, didn't feel like we were on top of other guests. The hosts were so lovely and clearly put a lot of care into the place. They also hosted a movie night with popcorn in their garage, which was such a fun treat. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

So glad I found this spot! Mara was very friendly and gave great recommendations. The sites are beautiful, peaceful, and the property well kept. As someone visiting from the east coast, I thought I wanted to be at the national park campgrounds. After driving by them (overcrowded, close together, right by a busy road) I am SO grateful I booked Salmon Run instead.

This was without a doubt the best hipcamp I have stayed at. You enter a park like setting, well maintained and just amazing. All the sites are large with level parking. I think we had the best site (4) but in walking and viewing the others any one of the 7 sites would have been great. Gated entry is a great touch. When you are here you feel like you are staying in an RV park not just on someones property. If you pass on this you are making a mistake.

The tour of his farm and land was wonderful and the eggs were delicious. We liked the diverse group of campers: families, bikers, couples, old and young, etc. We will be going there again.

Tent camping is very convenient and easy with well laid out, sheltered locations and manicured surfaces for pitching a tent. The site includes both bathroom and kitchen facilities and is in a quiet location a few miles from Quinault. Paul and Carol were very welcoming and hospitable hosts.

Aliya is a beautiful place to camp. Beautiful views of the ocean, lovely walks to the beach & back, great spaces with picnic table & fire pit.
