Skokomish Park at Lake Cushman, formerly known as Camp Cushman or Lake Cushman State Park, covers over 500 acres with three boat-launch ramps on the 41,500 feet of freshwater shoreline on Lake Cushman.
Park facilities include campsites, RV pull-thru and back-in sites, walk-in campsites, and two group camping areas. Plus, two fantastic day-use areas with picnic sites, a picnic shelter, and comfort stations located throughout the park.
The natural beauty of the area can be explored on any of our trails. The eastern part of the Olympic Peninsula has loads of great trails around us in the Olympic National Park. Trailheads nearby include Big Creek, Mount Rose, Mount Ellinor, Dry Creek, Copper Creek, Wagonwheel Lake, Staircase Rapids, Big Log Camp, and Flapjack Lakes. Mount Ellinor Trail is rated 5 stars by many.

We bought this land in 2017, there were 7 derelict mobile homes on the property. We cleaned up the area and remodeled the house next door and put in the 5 RV sites. We hope you enjoy this property as much as we do, it is a one-of-a-kind beautiful, quiet place.
All of our sites have full hook-ups (water, sewer, and power). The sites are just a couple feet from the bay with access to miles of beach hiking. You can walk to Bottle Beach State Park which is approximately 1 mile north or hike about a mile south to Elk River. Enjoy unobstructed views of Westport and the freight ships coming into the harbor. Enjoy a peaceful beach with amazing sunsets.
Whether you are surfing for the weekend or tuna-fishing, this is your go to spot - you will not be disappointed. Westport is 7 miles by car and the Westport Winery is only 5 miles. There is two nearby boat launches - one off of Elk River just 2 miles away and the other off of Johns River launch just 6 miles away.

Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. A quick 5 min walk to the public access bridge to cross Conner's Creek, this is a private campsite for your next beach retreat. Located in Copalis Beach WA, you are close to Griffith Priday state park and natural area and a general store right down the road for all your needs while you're away from home. Pacific Beach and Ocean Shores are just 15 min away but you will feel like you are in a much more secluded setting. Rainbow Ridge itself is largely comprised of the three houses on property as well as the surrounding woodlands. Its area spans fifty acres of elevated terrain surrounded by a forest creek (where crawdads can be found). The camping area is on about five acres of the property and is populated by alders and evergreens, making it a wonderful place to connect with nature. It's a beautiful area sure to soothe the soul. A short but captivating nature trail is open to campers who are interested in a walk up the gentle hill. We do have a worm composting toilet and water available for washing. A new hot shower will be available. A couple of more sites are in the plans.
Nearby is the quaint town of Montesano. Lake Sylvia is there for those looking to discover one of our lovely state parks. Closer by, there is a river with boat launch that runs down and through Montesano for people who want to swim, fish, float, or boat. Montesano's central location in Grays Harbor allows it to serve as a wonderful base of operations for those looking to explore more of the coast, and northwestern peninsula.
The way up to Rainbow Ridge is a short winding driveway of somewhat steep grade, delivery trucks have no problems, so if you have a small camper or less, you should be fine.

We have been trailer camping at Shelby's quite a few times, and always have the best time. Getting there is a breeze and it is usually pretty quiet. It is VERY close to the beach and all the sites have a view of the bay. Very close to Westport and Grayland for exploring. Did I mention Full hookups?! Love it and we will be back.

Great spot! Private & quiet. The porta potty was very clean & didn’t smell bad. The covered area was perfect & a great place to hang! However, it’s so close to the beach, you won’t be here much!

We came here to visit last year and absolutely loved it, so we were thrilled to come back and stay this past weekend to celebrate our best friend’s birthday. Once again, this park did not disappoint!
There truly is something for everyone — outdoor games, kayaking, fishing, and of course, relaxing around a campfire. During the summer months, they even show movies with popcorn, which adds such a fun and unique touch to the experience.
The park is very well maintained, the restrooms are clean, and the store is well stocked with anything you might need. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to answer questions or help out in any way.
We made wonderful memories here and are already looking forward to coming back in 2027!

Beautiful ocean front camping . Very close to Westport for surfing or beach walking. The beach in front of the campsite is great for letting your dog run as well. Will definitely be back.

We camped Saturday-Tuesday at this spot! We definitely want to come back after Memorial Day when they do movies in an adorable outdoor theater set up. The lake is large and beautiful. Staff is friendly, they had packets and a little scavenger hunt for the kids which was much appreciated. As noted in the reviews, the sites are very close to each other, we felt a bit like we were camping with the neighbors next to us. WiFi exists in some spots, not at our site. No cell service. We would come back!
