the campground itself is so nice, well kept, and easy to find. there are hot showers available, a wet sink outside where you can wash dishes, outside restrooms, RV hookups, and tent sites. there is even a little campground store where you can buy cold soda, snacks, and any last minute needs for camping.
canopy site 30 was nice - it had a fire pit and the canopy allowed for charging of your electronics. however, it is right next to the outside bathrooms. the ventilation in the restrooms pushes the air right out to where you’re staying. there were times where we were caught in the downwind of some unpleasant smells. but i will say, they kept the restrooms very clean. one of the workers even came over and hosed it out. the campground can’t control the odor but it’s worth noting if you have a sensitive sense of smell and are aversive to strong odors. i would personally come back but wouldn’t book canopy 30 again.

It was a great place to stay with the camper, easy to set up, plug in, and go exploring. The private beach across the street was also very nice to go to and looked great for surfing. Hearing the crashing waves at night was super relaxing. Also the check in was easy and the owners were incredibly nice. Definitely want to go again and would recommend it

Nice gift shop. The hosts/proprietors were very friendly. The only comment for improvement would be a stronger wifi signal out to site, but, was easily accessible near office. If your travels bring you near Forks, this campground is a solid "Yes!".

Olympic Adventure Camp was a perfect spot for our base Camp to visit several parts of the national park. The camp is super clean, well organized, the proprietors are very friendly and helpful, and the little hot shower houses are delightful — worth the 5 bucks of your canoe has a water leak like ours did :-/. There are trails that we would’ve loved to ride at either end of the park that might go to the river, but it was raining and we ran out of time. John the host will give you great advice. Also, the take and bake pizza place in town is excellent! They can bake it for you.

The view of the marina and Vancouver Island as well as Clallam Bay was spectacular. We had some issues with our trailer. I contacted the host and they returned my call quickly. After 4-5 attempts to fix the issue the host had me walk down the hill to the Marina and talk to one of the employees and they will find someone to help you. We did that and within 10 minutes our problem was solved. These hosts really care about their customers. The whole experience was great! I would highly recommend Kaptain’s Quarters. 👍

Sul Doc Waterfront was a very private, serene location. The surrounding brush created a nice site with a very clean porta potty for this location. The fire “stove” was awesome and limited smoke from burning firewood. Although we got there too late to enjoy the meadow and river during the day, the sound of the river was pleasant.

The site was just what the Dr ordered, and was as described in the hosts description. The site was nice, and my 25' trailer fit fine. Just took me a bit of work to back in on my blind side. Joseph was there tk greet us when we pulled in and ensured we had anything we needed and even made sure we could get into the spot without issues. The picnic table & fire pit were a great touch (we didn'tuse the put since things were pretty dry). Although cars could be heard on the road, noise was never an issue. The site was very quiet and relaxing, and hookups were easy to connect. The trail to the Lyre river was an easy walk until getting down to the bank at the end. But that spot was still pretty manageable. We'll worth it to check that out. Would be a great place to cool off on a hot day. My only word of advice. When pulling in and stopping to punch in the gate code, the rear of our trailer blocked the eastbound lane. It wasnt an issue, but worth keeping in mind. The locatio.is 6 minutes from the Joyce general store which had anything we may have needed. Also close to plenty of things to do outside. Would definitely stay there again!
