You must have a fully self-contained RV to stay at our property as there are no public bathroom or shower facilities available.

All of our sites have full hook-ups (water, sewer, and power). The sites are just a couple feet from the bay with access to miles of beach hiking. You can walk to Bottle Beach State Park which is approximately 1 mile north or hike about a mile south to Elk River. Enjoy unobstructed views of Westport and the freight ships coming into the harbor. Enjoy a peaceful beach with amazing sunsets.
Whether you are surfing for the weekend or tuna-fishing, this is your go to spot - you will not be disappointed. Westport is 7 miles by car and the Westport Winery is only 5 miles. Beautiful peaceful forest with trails, a great spot for elopements (elopement package separate) and a beautiful meadow with a small ringed fire pit for one site and a movable fire pit for another.. 2 meadow sites in 5 acres, a forested tent sight coming. 70% of the Island is forestry but sound DOES carry a long way so it's not dead-quiet.
Harstine Island has a BRIDGE, no ferry!
One hammock is left up in the forest and there are places for your hammocks to be hung, as well.
There is one spot on drive that is between two trees so you need to go slowly and be careful, 9 foot wide at wheel base only. Please take note of this. Easy for cars, a bit tricky for some trailer/RVs. Photo and video can be seen on webpage.
Types of wildlife include barred owls, a nighthawk usually in summer can be seen at dusk, western alligator lizards, warblers, robins, crows, wrens, a bear has visited before (lucky me heard it 'woof' at me, bear didn't appreciate my singing), deer, others have seen red fox in the past but we have not been so lucky. Birder's paradise. One lovely review calls it a great place for forest bathing!
Puget sound is SO clean here with a diverse salt water life. Orca and Humpback have been spotted nearby. You can track them at Orca Network or Puget Sound Whale Sightings on Facebook. Frequently people have seen orca making rounds with the incoming tide going under the bridge and circling the island! There is Jarrell Cove state park and a boat ramp at Latimer's Landing Boat Launch few miles way. There is a great local market at the community center Saturdays from 10-12 in the summer. No water view, this is heavy forest off a gravel drive into privacy. No power, no water, pack it in pack it out.
Please be careful of deer when you are driving in and observe island speed limits. Familiarize yourself with the personal fire extinguisher at the site.

More than enough room and felt private. The bay is beautiful and walking to the beach from our site was so convenient. Having trash/recycling on site and full hook ups was also super convenient.
We recommend pulling forward forward as far as you can for gravity flow of waste line.

The host, Shelby, was very quick to answer any messages that I sent her. The campground is small, and the spaces are close together but I would still recommend this place because it felt very safe. It's been a long time since I've felt comfortable leaving my things unattended while I left camp and I had no worries here. Another reason why I'd recommend this camp is because it was so easy to get to other places from here. Also, the view across the water was very relaxing. I would go back.

Very nice stay for the weekend. Had our 25’ trailer in here and had zero issues. Super nice walking trail and creek right behind the site.

The sewer hookup is directly next to the site, which is nice. The spots are large enough to have your RV and pulling vehicle next to each other.

Fun place to camp for a family. Great beach and boat rentals. The kids loved the evening outdoor movie. Camp sites were good, although not really private or quiet.

The view is spectacular and the trail to the beach is so close. Loved that. Very peaceful. The weather this time was cloudy almost everyday though unlike last year when it was sunny with lovely sunsets. Even had a little fog this trip. That’s not in any ones control however! Still loved it. Appreciate the full hookups. Would stay again. Unique is a good name for this spot.

Location is great for a variety of hikes and adventures. Great amenities in the main building with views of Hood Canal. The showers were the perfect end to a long hike.
