Cotton, tobacco, soybeans and peanuts grow in the fields surrounding our property. Take a nice walk through the woods around a pond to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

About the Wi-Fi:
Wi-Fi is limited even with Starlink RV system. Guest will have the Wi-Fi password inside the dome upon arrival. T-Mobile, Verizon, and other networks have limited reception so plan ahead as we are an off the grid experience. Disconnecting is part of the adventure!
Each guest will have access to private parking area and wooded walkway, dome, deck area, fire pit, barbeque grill, hammock, and 3-acre pasture with pond.
Entrance codes will be shared to guests on the day arrival.
Guests will receive entrance codes for the private parking pad, gate after walking bridge, and dome red door.
Once you park in the private gravel parking area, guest can use our cart to haul all your glamping getaway items from the parking area through the wooded entrance and pasture to the dome. The dome is approximately 500ft away from the private parking area.

Great location only 15 min off I-95. Far enough away from the city and roads to see the stars at night, close enough for easy access to all modern conveniences. Accessible by a paved road. A path is cut right through the property for ease to find your ideal camping location.
You can park your vehicle off the paved road or on the property itself. There is a creek a few hundred yards into the property that's not crossable by vehicle. A vehicle can pull onto the property via the cutout road but I wouldn’t pull an RV/vehicle with a trailer onto it.

We had such a blast. The hosts provided fun Sasquatch water bottles for the kids, we all got to feed the goats, and enjoyed paddling on the pond. The interior was incredibly clean and the beds were very comfortable. We are already plotting our next stay.

Weekend Trip to Kerr Lake Glamping at Holly Forest
My boyfriend and I loved staying at The Retreat (screened cabin)! Jim and Becky were amazing hosts. The directions and communication were clear from the start. Our space was lovingly put together and very thoughtful. We were a bit worried about how hot we might get during our 2-day/night stay in August, but all the fans, misters, and other battery-powered cooling options kept us nice and cool. So did the paddling pool! The land itself is beautiful and serene. We really enjoyed sitting at the fishing pond at sunset, watching the horses graze, and cooking in the outdoor kitchen. Driving the golf carts around and playing basketball were also highlights of our stay. We can't wait to be back and try a different cabin or tent option next time. Thank you so much for having us!

I absolutely loved my time on the Land! Lucretia is a fabulous host. I arrived when it was dark and was so grateful for the arrangement of the space and how clear the parking spaces were. There's adorable little solar lights to outline the spots and the plants are arranged mindfully to highlight spaces as well. There's so many parks and historical places close by as well, which made for excellent daytime explorations. I'll definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful stay! The property was absolutely beautiful, and our kids had the best time exploring. The site was exactly as described, and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They took the time to teach us about how they care for the animals and even let my 5-year-old and me “help” with the chores—even though I’m sure we slowed them down a bit! It made the experience so special and memorable for our family. After a busy week, this was the perfect peaceful retreat. We left feeling refreshed and are so grateful for their hospitality. We would absolutely love to come back!

Gorgeous place! Very well thought out. I had a great time. Everything was clean, felt brand new, and I loved having the golf cart. They even added a little “swimming pool” - depth of water is about thigh high but it was so refreshing and my dog loved cooling down.

We had a fantastic stay here! The campsite is tucked away in a peaceful clearing in the woods, which made it feel private while still being just a short walk to the lake. My dogs absolutely loved swimming, and we spent hours relaxing by the water. It was a quiet, beautiful spot to unwind and enjoy nature. The host was welcoming, and everything was just as described. Great spot - camp site was near a barn on a small farm with many animals to say hi to. The kids (6&9) loved running around and checking out the animals. Review from 9 year old: “this is like a five star campsite!”. Candace was welcoming and accommodating - she guided us in at dark and shared some cookies and juice boxes with the kids on the way out. We would stop here again if in the area.

The Forest Pavillon was a great site with plenty of space for our 3 large tents, 2 privacy tents , and our 2 cars with nice shaded trees. Walking distance to the lake but we drove to the lake site to set up our kayak. Caught 2 large catfish. The whole place is beautiful with the large lake. Wish we had stayed another day but summer tent camping has its challenges. Although we are seasoned campers, we were still ill-prepared for a more comfortable camping experience. It was hot and muggy during the day but cooler at night. Merritt , our host, is nice and friendly and met us when we arrived and oriented us to our site and surrounding areas. We had a fire pit with firewood ready. He was very kind to offer the airstream toilet so my elderly mother can use as needed. Thank you so much.

Christopher (the host) made this very simple and frictionless. I texted him before I got there, he met me at the start of the driveway and showed me the camping spot.
It was quiet and the weather was ideal. I walked around the property and checked out the chickens.
