Great natural lighting in every room as well as french doors throughout. The expansive front porch has two ceiling fans and wicker furniture for sitting. The Property: Miles of walking trails in the back with creeks that run adjacent to our mineral springs throughout our property. Say hello to our animals-We are home to many exotic chickens, ducks, Pygmy goats, dairy goats, mini pigs, horses and many Great Pyrenees. Guest access: Free parking right beside the unit. Farm Retreat in Red Oak

Welcome to our 35-acre sustainable farm located in the heart of Red Oak a small town in Nash County North Carolina. We are conveniently located just about 5 miles from the I-64 and I-95 interchange in Rocky Mount. We are also just under one hour from Raleigh and about 30 minutes from Medoc Mountain State Park. We have horses, sheep, chickens, rabbits, cats, and dogs here as well as a small orchard and some gardens. There are 20 wooded acres with a trail through them and a pond to fish in right beside the campsite. Dogs are welcome but they must be kept on leash unless we give permission to use one of our empty pastures for exercise. Bring your cowboy boots and sign up for an introductory horseback riding lesson! Each site has a gravel pad, picnic table, and fire ring. Port-a-potty, sink/hose water, and electrical receptacles are available on-site as well. Please understand that this is a working farm with free-range chickens, pets, and livestock that sometimes make noise. We are also located off a well-traveled country road so you may hear car/road noise.

This is a small chicken farm on over 2 acres of land. You will use the front yard to set up with picnic area and firepit. The animals on the farm are a dog, chickens and ducks. Traveling south about a mile down the road you will come to water for boating, fishing, a bird sanctuary and a kayak launch. Going north about another mile you will come to a Kingdom of Jehovah's Witnesses where the public is welcome to attend on Sunday morning at 10 and on Thursday evening at 7.
