30 acres surrounded by thick woods on three sides. We currently have a walking trail around the property, bees and chickens. The sites are quiet, secluded and are a few miles from Roanoke Rapids for shopping and dining. The area is known for its abundant wildlife.

A great place to stretch your legs!

The Stand

Christopher was very responsive to every message, and he showed us around the property when we arrived. He even had his own farm fresh eggs and honey for sale. The campsite was on a well-mowed area, tucked into a corner by the forest. We really enjoyed walking on the path along the edge of the woods and through the pollinator meadow. I photographed at least eight butterfly species on the wildflowers, and saw a few more than that.

The Back 40

Awesome hipcamp thats pretty close to I-95 but far enough you cant hear any traffic. Great private campsites with flat surfaces for parking or popping a tent up.

I loved car camping on Christopher’s land! It was very peaceful and far enough into the wilderness to get a beautiful view of the stars. We got in late and Christopher was very accommodating in showing us to the site. We were only here for a short overnight stay, but we would definitely stay here again!

Christopher is an easy going, friendly host who had everything organized for my stay. It was very cold the night I camped and Christopher was good enough to check in to make sure I was doing all right and even brought me some wood to burn. I highly recommend this host!
