Located in Victoria Virginia, the farm is an hour to Richmond, 45 minutes to Farmville, and 45 minutes from John Kerr reservoir (on the boarder of NC). We are pet friendly, and the property is completely fenced. Enjoy free unlicensed fishing on property in our small pond, stocked with catfish and bluegills, or let the pups swim away the summer heat. Enjoy a walk on the nearby Tobacco Trail, fish at one of the many nearby rivers and lakes. Roast marshmallows over a fire and stargaze or catch fireflies all night.
All sites have access to a portable compost toilet, and we can provide water for the sun showers. We have tent sites, and an RV site, 420friendly but we do not partake.
PLEASE NOTE: No Check In After 9PM! The camp sites are only available with direction of host ( new closer parking area and camp area access gate for 2025!!)

Great spot for us to stay and refresh! We only stayed one night but we were able to use the full hookups to take showers, etc. after being on the road a good while. Peaceful, private spot in a field. Kerwin guided us in and was very friendly and accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer, definitely recommend.

Beautiful setting on quiet farm. Nice concrete pad next to hookups was easy to park on and convenient. The bathhouse is a nice amenity. All in all a very pleasant experience.

This is a rustic little spot about 15 minutes off Rt. 460 in central VA. No amenities, so bring everything you will need, but Merritt was responsive and quite hospitable. The land is privately located among a small hardwood tree grove, but has nice pond views to one side and fields on 2 other sides. Merritt and his wife are lovely people and fascinating to talk to.

The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, spot is secluded and private. We were alone for the night but there were some other parking spots. Nice to have a sink and toilet set up for us and the herbal tincture was lovely :)

Do you want pace and quiet for with good ol fashion southern hospitality. Mr. Dewitt is an awesome guy. We had amazing time, walked the trails to the creek then took the trails to the main entrance, didn’t see one car nor heard anything except nature. Will be booking again!

We had a wonderful time over at Main House RV 1 Harris hideaway. Dewitt was very accommodating and friendly. Had a wonderful chat with him when we arrived. He was kind enough to set up the spot for two campsites, one for me and my buddy, who also had a camper. Very responsive to our questions. The campsite was beautiful, and we went exploring over at the creek bed where he made some trails to get to it. Nice and easy walk to it.
10/10 would do again. There was no light pollution at all so we could see every star in the sky during our stay. The place was nice and quiet. It was a very relaxing stay.

The site was beautiful, with lots of quiet open space. There are railroad tracks close by but we only heard a train twice all weekend. There was also a golden retriever that adopted himself into our camp but he was sweet (as long as you keep your trash out of reach lol) and got along with our puppy great. Stephanie was awesome and attentive as well, answered any questions I had quickly and clearly. It's a great little spot!

Beautiful peaceful spot!
Super friendly family that clearly care about their animals and property.
We took a short hike around the pond, which was perfect after a day of traveling.
We bought some very fresh and delicious eggs. Will definitely use this as a stop-over when passing through again. 🙂

Great location! Set-up was super easy and we loved being surrounded by all the animals and the vintage buses. The hosts were very welcoming without invading our personal space. Their animals were very tolerant of our dog who wanted to be friends with each and every one of them! We would definitely visit again if we were ever in the area.

Christopher was very responsive to every message, and he showed us around the property when we arrived. He even had his own farm fresh eggs and honey for sale. The campsite was on a well-mowed area, tucked into a corner by the forest. We really enjoyed walking on the path along the edge of the woods and through the pollinator meadow. I photographed at least eight butterfly species on the wildflowers, and saw a few more than that.

Loved sharing the farm with the farm animals and waking up to the sounds of ducks quacking! There's also a horse, goats, & chickens that you can interact with. Property is safe and peaceful.
